Yes, because illegal crossings have fallen to microscopic levels since Trump took office. There are far fewer people to arrest. And if you want to talk ICE data, the Trump admin ICE made more interior arrests in two weeks than Biden did in the entire month of November.

The Navy has lost two F/A-18E "Growler" OECM (offensive electronic counter measures) aircraft in the last couple months. Not sure, but I think one had two fatalities, the other not.

The "Growlers" are pretty unique, and expensive.

The Navy also shot down one of it's own F/A-18's equipped as a tanker over the Red Sea.

The Air Force isn't without it's own issues... as they're responsible for the fleet of "VC" aircraft used to shuttle politicos around.

Military flying is dangerous. Military flying in the congested airspace around the capitol city requires a shit ton of training, constant flying, and a good crew.

I'd expect some changes in the air traffic patterns and what is, and isn't allowed into DCA to be announced sometime shortly.

Constitutional doctrine requires major officers of the US to have confirmation by the Senate. Minor officers do not . DOGE is an advisory organization inside the Office of the Presidency (created by an Obama era statute for fixing Obamacare portal problems) and thus then became reclassified to handle increasing efficiency in government agencies computerizations.

For the most part, courts have ruled advisors to the President do not need confirmation but those with actual power to do rulemaking, adjudicate disputes, executive action, etc. do.
