All of Trump's pics will be confirmed. Democraps can bukkake themselves all they want. We have the votes. And if for some reason we don't, Trump will use recess appointments. They are all eventually gonna be appointed. Then the real screaming and bloodletting can begin. I'm getting an erection on top of my erection just thinking about it.

The lawfare was a catastrophic mistake by the Democrats. Trying to criminalize a political battle, trying to go after one's political opponent with criminal charges. And on top of that, civil cases that could ruin a man trying to put him in jail was a bridge too far.
The electorate rejected it out of hand as too much. It made the Democrats look radical. It made the Democrats look like they were the ones who were anti-democratic. It undermined their core argument against Trump On January 6th. They shot themselves in the foot. ======= I think some people are taking the wrong lesson from this very real phenomena: "Don't go after Democrats with lawfare at all. Let it go." What they went after Trump with was bullshit. It hinged on 1/6, and no one cared about 1/6 and required very unhinged readings of what happened to implicate Trump himself. However, what Democrats did, focusing on career professionals especially, leads to clear cut law breaking from evidence tampering and manufacture to corruption. A host of arrests against people from all over the Democrat machine that lead to boring trials that outline details of massive law breaking would be far closer to the intended Watergate effect than 1/6 ever got. But, they subsidized the over reach by shipping $Billions off to Ukraine and ignoring (quite deliberately) things here at home. That's an easy sale for the opposition to make. The lawfare was a catastrophic mistake by the Democrats. Trying to criminalize a political battle, trying to go after one's political opponent with criminal charges. And on top of that, civil cases that could ruin a man trying to put him in jail was a bridge too far. - Megyn Kelly, etc., etc.
For the Dems, it was no mistake. They buried themselves with so much criminal activity over the last eight years that the only thing that mattered was to prevent Donald Trump from becoming the 47th president. At all costs. Look at all the pardons! Heck, an entire House select committee's work product was scrubbed out of existence. Lawfare against DJT was just the tip of the iceberg. As a lifelong straight male, I must say I’m concerned about what’s happening with women like Megyn Kelly and Nicole Shanahan.
Back in my day, women were demure and spinster-ish. They didn’t participate in politics, which is a man’s game. A young, lithe man’s game. Women stayed at home and did the knitting and didn’t ask political questions like “Who are you out drinking with every night?” and “What’s going on down there in the basement? People don’t exercise either, and that’s fully on them. But the crap we allow to be used in the foods that a lot of people eat is inexcusable. RFK is right. Inform people how bad some of this garbage is for you. Help them understand it affects your health along with your lifestyle. Now it’s all very one sided where they hide the ill effects of crap and then act surprised years later when it’s a major contributor to disease and obesity. It’s upside down now. You can’t tell me any benefits that corn syrup and seed oils have other than enriching Big Ag. That crap is in every product unnecessarily. My red pill moment was after the owner of the company I worked passed away and my job changed from running the company to getting it as profitable as possible in 3 years in order for the family to sell it to pay the estate taxes. 55% of that sales price went to the Feds while I and about 20% of the staff lost our jobs after the sale. At least help people make better choices by making the foods they eat the most healthier.

I mean how can you lawfare Trump in the most idiotic and justice system corrupting manners and then complain about him potentially prosecuting his "political enemies"? --- It goes with the delusion of liberals that their political views are not political, they're just "common sense." I think one reason so many Americans are porkers is, they don't have to expend any physical effort to eat work or play.
That's part of it. But the real secret, hidden reason that American obesity on average has raised so much in recent years is... immigration from south of the border. Hispanics, the indio-spanish mix, tend to be chunky. Its the stat nobody wants to talk about when they bring up how fat Americans are. Yeah, there are some really fat Americans, but if you live around a lot of hispanic immigrants, you know how tubby they are. Short and round. The science doesn't support the idea that HFCS is worse than other sugars like Sucrose. There's some support for the idea it may possibly increase your appetite slightly. Americans get too much HFCS in their diets because they eat too much. If HFCS was magically removed tomorrow and replaced with Sucrose and all else remained the same, I'm confident the average American's health would be unimpacted. Its the common thread of human behavior. People are weird. The vast majority ... 90%+ ... are drawn to live and work around each other. And then coerce and cajole and meddle in each others affairs. The ones that don't ? All kind of names for them. Anti-social. Sociopathic. And such. Take corn syrup. Don't like it ? Don't eat it. I don't care if anyone else swims in it.

Look. Too much sugar is not good for you either. But corn syrup is harder for your body to break down and converts more easily to fat. That’s just science.
Posted by: Marcus T at January 30, 2025 04:07 PM (PO4Th) ______________ With respect, that's nonsense. I say again: HFCS is 55% fructose, 45% glucose. Sugar is 50-50 on those two, where the fructose is linked to the glucose by a glycosidic linkage that hydrolyzes under acidic conditions. Such as those found in ... the stomach. Measuring the rate of hydrolysis of sucrose (through the change in optical rotation) used to be a classic freshman chem experiment. Now THAT'S actual science. Rank Choice voting gives losers the ability to vote again on the same day while the supporters of the leader get nothing. Thus one man one vote is violated.
Also it is a complicated process to count giving time for fraud. It magnifies the power of pressure groups to encourage candidates to cater to them for backup votes. Posted by: Oldcat at January 30, 2025 05:05 PM (n7h9X) 393
