Over the past several years, between me and my kids, we've had Netflix, Prime, Disney+, HBOMax, Hulu and Paramount+. Wow, that seems like a lot after typing them out. But we didn't have all of them all at the same time.
I thought HBOMax (or whatever it was called) had a lot of good movies. I really liked Hulu, plus it has the Alien franchise. Right now I've only got Paramount+. Between that and Tubi and other freebies, I can usually find something decent enough to watch.
Well, those plus my $5 Walmart DVDs (I just buy the classics when I find them, or something that I like enough to actually own a hard copy).

I thought HBOMax (or whatever it was called) had a lot of good movies. I really liked Hulu, plus it has the Alien franchise. Right now I've only got Paramount+. Between that and Tubi and other freebies, I can usually find something decent enough to watch.
Well, those plus my $5 Walmart DVDs (I just buy the classics when I find them, or something that I like enough to actually own a hard copy).

I've argued for a while the right should start looking at the tax code as a way to punish America's enemies. A good specific goal then would be a series of punitive taxes aimed at blue states and leftwing individuals for the nominal goal of paying down the debt.

Frankly I think we as a society suffer from entertainment overload. There simply is not enough good creative talent out there to fill the production demand (note not consumer demand) to keep the studios running.
IOW there is a lot more goods being produced than the consumer demands. Ironically I spend more time looking through what's available than actually watching the "entertainment".

I will say the one season of Obliterated was fantastic and I can see why they didn't bring it back. It was a total throwback to how TV used to be and should be. Definitely our vision of America, not theirs.
Other than gratuitous male nudity and a number of references to gay shit - there might have been an interaction too I can't remember - the show was pretty fucking based. I think it was from the Cobra Kai people.
