Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Sunday Overnight Open Thread - January 19, 2025 [Doof]Howdy Hordelings, and welcome to the final ONT of the Biden era! We've nearly made it through. It's almost Morning in America again. Grab a beverage of your choosing and raise it to better times ahead! Thanks for ending your Sunday here at the ONT. We're glad you stopped by!
Arriving Tomorrow! The lead time on this order was excruciatingly long. Was hoping for immediately shipment and delivery, but the vendor kept saying something about the Constitution and an orderly transition. Whatever -- it arrives tomorrow, and the ONT is very excited! Once upon a time, two of the greatest presidents in US history met. If you could travel back in time and be a part of this meeting, what would you say to them? Nope - Not Buying It Zuckerberg oversaw and therefore was part and parcel to a censorship and propaganda effort that was instrumental in the stealing of an election and installation of of puppet president. He hasn't acknowledged his ACTIVE part in that. His words suggest he was merely a PASSIVE participant. And he'll do better now -- swearsies!

Happy 2025 starts tomorrow with liberal tears and outrage. They are always crying and they are always outraged but since they are always turned up to 100, we get to see heads explode. I have been cleaning the house all day. We had tons of renovations. We have several old encyclopedia sets. Some bought at the grocery store decades ago during promotions. Some expensive. I need to clean the basement. Mom, funeral last Tuesday, was reluctant to let me pitch them. AND you know what, those books, decades old are probably much less woke than what we could find today. On the other hand, I need to clean the house and start a life and it's not like I look up info there. Pitch them? I don't know anyone that would want them. Nice books. I'm going back to clean the toy room but will check in later. Posted by: Stateless...15% at January 19, 2025 10:15 PM (jvJvP) 57

"Mr Trump’s key advisers are also debating whether to put Sir Keir Starmer ‘at the back of the queue’ of world leaders invited to Washington after tomorrow’s inauguration, with one Trump ally saying the PM was ‘gonna have to eat humble pie’ if he wanted a speedy visit to the White House. The new administration could further humiliate Sir Keir by rejecting Lord Mandelson’s appointment as Britain’s ambassador to the US, it was reported last night...A Trump ally told The Mail on Sunday: ‘It was election interference, plain and simple. Who the f*** do these people think they are? ‘Trump’s view is it’s none of their business what is going on here and they should have kept out. Orlok congratulates all of his American Horde friends in their good fortune that tomorrow your nation will have an actual President again. As a person who entered existence in the Fifteenth Century, I have long known of Biden's incompetence, as he was in his early thirties when Orlok was born.
Ha, Orlok is kidding - Biden was actually in his mid-fifties at that time. Meanwhile, I am still suffering the shame from last night's SNL Weekend Update segment where a member of the cast dared to impersonate Orlok in what their shriveled minds consider comedic. I am the first to admit that I am hardly handsome, but that goes with the Nosferatu business model. We are all about the function, not the form. Even so, SNL based their impression of me on the concept of what it might be like if the ladies of the View conceived a child with Klaus Schwab and spliced in the DNA from Amazon's Rings of Power. Behold: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLU6gaXBeDM Orlok is wounded and ashamed, so very, very ashamed. Posted by: Count Orlok at January 19, 2025 10:58 PM (mk4vr) 288

Nosferatus and German film directors are quite different entities. One commits atrocious, blasphemous tragedies against nature, and the other is a vampire. He was an American journalist that went to Ukraine and proactively covered the war. He was arrested for it, tortured, and when he tried to flee the country imprisoned again and then killed in prison. I guess its a small hope but I'd like to see Trump push on this case which the Biden junta refused to address let alone issue arrest warrants for... It used to be that American citizenship would give you protection, especially from a client state like Ukraine, and even if the government didn't like you they'd just kick you out but not here... Trump to suspend security clearances of 51 intelligence officials who falsely implied Hunter Biden laptop was Russian fake
There was a minor news flap when early in the Iraq war it came out that the DoD had an office to try and "help" journalists cover the war. It was an odd story because, of course, traditionally the government flat out censored the media during war. Anyway, Shrub's government agreed not to do that any more... And here the media's defense was that the government told them how to cover this story so...of course they had to... Posted by: 18-1 at January 19, 2025 11:27 PM (t0Rmr) 370

Actually, Orlok recommends "Vampire Hunter D" in general. It is one of the few productions that portrays sunlight's effects on Nosferatus correctly. We can handle it up to a certain point, and any ill effects can be remedied with a bit of shade. The anime "Blood" is another on Orlok's list of recommendation. Just avoid any of the Anne Rice or the Twilight dreck, and you will have a fairly good idea of the whys and hows of Undead ways.

One point still not mentioned in regards to Biden's laptop...by default most modern phones/camera's geolocate the pictures/videos they take.
So even a casual review of the supposed "false" images on the computer could be compared to Hunter's known locations - eg if there is a video if Hunter with an underage hooker in New York at 5 PM on Dec 3rd...where was he on that day and time? Honestly I wouldn't tell either of them anything. Reagan managed to navigate a very narrow path that allowed us to defeat the Soviets without a WWIII. And Trump's improbable rise as voice of the American working/middle class almost certainly doesn't happen if he's pushed into politics earlier. "...the order — titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government” — will ensure that: All radical gender ideology guidance, communication, policies, and forms are removed. Agencies will cease pretending that men can be women and women can be men when enforcing laws that protect against sex discrimination. “Woman” means an “adult human female.” The Executive Order directs that Government identification like passports and personnel records will reflect biological reality and not self-assessed gender identity. The order also suggests that Trump’s Department of Justice will legally defend Americans who oppose the workplace use of transgender-style pronouns." The tech biggies are sucking up to Trump because the EU has been eating their lunch with non-tariff trade barriers.
They'd like Trump to put a stop to that-- which Biden never even tried to do. They'd like Trump to wrap the punitive trade barriers issue into a package deal, to include Trump's concerns about EU nations underfunding NATO. Hello again. Just got back from wandering around.
If you could travel back in time and be a part of this meeting, what would you say to them? Choose your VP carefully. Back before the 2016 election, I really didn't know Trump. Some rich New York real estate guy with a TV show I never watched. I voted for Cruz in the primary. This was when folks were suggesting he was just running to advertise his "brand," and he'd just end up throwing it to Hillary. Joe Dan Gorman on an Intellectual Froglegs episode addressed that, explaining how a person like Trump wasn't in it to lose. A very bright light bulb lit up over my head. "Oh! Yeah. Duh!" I started paying attention. Been aboard the Trump train ever since. Thanks, Joe Dan. Latest Intellectual Froglegs dropped a couple of days ago. If my calculations are correct, DJT will take office at Julian Date 2460696.20913, or relative to current astronomical epoch "J2000", 9151.20913. This is using "TT", terrestrial time, the modern and most precise ephemeris time. This is the proper time, in the relativistic sense of an observer moving and rotating with the earth relative to the center of mass of the solar system. If you want something that looks like a "star date", there you go. Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (w6EFb) at January 20, 2025 01:07 AM (w6EFb) 531

It is now officially Inauguration Day in the world's best time zone.
Since we'll be out tomorrow, I thought maybe we could go somewhere that we could have lunch and drinks and watch the swearing-in. I thought of our usual Mexican restaurant, which always has a bunch of sports screens and good margaritas.🌮🍸 But then I reconsidered, maybe that wouldn't be the best place, considering Trump's plans for mass deportations. Not that I think the place has illegals employed, but they may have family or friends who don't think highly of ICE. KnowwotImean? 🙄 Probably just be home and watch it online.
