Hello, Horde! 😊❤️. Here is the promised update:
Well, the news is less than encouraging - the current chemotherapy regimen does not appear to be working. There are a LOT more satellite tumors in my liver, and all of them are growing. The biggest tumor hasn't changed much, but given its size, that isn't very telling. The next step is to stop the infusions and go to targeted therapy that will attack the genetic component of these tumors. Another option is to have a chemical pump installed in tandem with the targeted therapy. The pump will infuse drugs directly into the liver. These might shrink the main tumor, but at this point it doesn't look like surgery to remove the tumor is an option. I will be seeing the oncological surgeon in another couple of weeks to discuss this option. The good news is that the targeted therapy involves oral drugs taken daily, so I won't be having infusion treatments every week. And if they decide to install a pump, it will be surgically installed under the skin and continuous treatment will be given 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Ultimately, however, the best case scenario is that I have 1-2 years left. Lord, we pray, send an angel of healing for our dear Teresa.
So Jesus went with them. He was not far from the house when the officer sent friends to tell him, “Sir, don't trouble yourself. I do not deserve to have you come into my house, neither do I consider myself worthy to come to you in person. Just give the order, and my servant will get well. I, too, am a man placed under the authority of superior officers, and I have soldiers under me. I order this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes; I order that one, ‘Come!’ and he comes; and I order my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” Jesus was surprised when he heard this; he turned around and said to the crowd following him, “I tell you, I have never found faith like this, not even in Israel!” The messengers went back to the officer's house and found his servant well. P.S. Yes I read encyclopedias as a kid. My fave was The Golden Book Encyclopedia that you’d buy at the grocery store one volume each week. I read each volume cover to cover as Mom bought them.
Posted by: pikkumatti at January 21, 2025 10:17 PM (FY8nG) Me, too! ca. 1959-1960. The ones with the cool alphabetical objects covers for that volume. Loved those. I read pretty much everything in the Kid's Encyclopedia Britannica. And I found it was woefully inadequate by middle school. So I read through a huge portion of the regular Encyclopedia Britannica. I didn't go to the library much for researching papers, since I had that encyclopedia right at home. Oh, and we got the almanacs or whatever they were that were the yearly updates, too.

Sometime around 1980, I was building a word game for my Radio Shack Model I computer. To build its vocabulary, I went through my entire American Heritage dictionary A to Z. I was just looking for four-letter words, but I spent a lot of time encountering the rest of them. I've forgotten more than I remember. Never ported my Model I games to PC. Of the 45's I owned in my childhood 45-buying years my favorite B-side of them all was "New Blue Sermonette" by that great rock 'n band of Native/Indigenous Americans, Redbone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZ5rdgpi9lo
A-side? No. Not "Come And Get Your Love," one of the greatest songs of all time. The A-side was very good, if not in "Come And Get Your Love" territory. "Maggie," a song so great that, in 1971, when Rod Stewart recorded a different song about a different troubled woman who also happened to be named Maggie, he had to add a "May" to the title. Here's the Redbone "Maggie," who, since, according to the lyric, was "followin' the hookin' game," leads me to think that this "Maggie" either was a fisherwoman or a lady of the evening hours: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s91hvRs3_SY Posted by: Schroedinger's Cat Wears the Emperor's New Clothes at January 21, 2025 10:32 PM (bWR5k) 135

Favorite reference work of all time: THE READER'S ENCYCLOPEDIA, Ed. Wm. Rose Benet....
Benét's Reader's Encyclopedia is a reference work devoted to world literature. The first volume appeared in 1948, edited by Pulitzer Prize-winner William Rose Benét, older brother of the writer Stephen Vincent Benét. Benét set out to "present to [the reader] a well-organized supplementary memory, in one volume".[1] The encyclopedia was based on Ebenezer Cobham Brewer's classic Dictionary of Phrase and Fable, and offered a compendium of curious information (such as "Aani. In Egyptian mythology, the dog-headed ape sacred to the god Thoth"). The Northrop F/A-18 Super Hornet video leaves out a whole lot about the aircraft's Northrop pre-cursors. The P-530 overhead view image in the video is actually an image of a Northrop F-5, or maybe Northrop F-20. The video completely leaves-out the true pre-cursor to the entire F/A-18 line, the Northrop YF-17. The YF-17 was the competitor to the YF-16 in the USAF Lightweight Fighter Program. You can make a case that the USN F/A-18 Super Hornet should be called the F/A-17M or another letter in the last half of the alphabet. But that's DoD mumble-mumble for you.

Farcebook gave me a reel from a self described relationship expert who opined that if there is a lack of intimacy in your relationship as the husband it is your fault because you aren't doing enough work around the house. She even decided to call resolving that "choreplay".
And the funny thing about this is we have solid social science on this. She is completely and utterly wrong. The more domestic work a man does in the home the less sex he has with his wife. Now *why* that is is not as well established, though I suspect its that most women want a man that's working at some high status job over one that "helps with the chores" but that's just a supposition. Meanwhile, in Ukraine:
1. The Russians continue to slowly grind forward. Sometimes the Ukrainians can rally at one point and push them back a mile or two, but then they face a surge somewhere else. 2. Macron of France continues to natter on about providing peacekeeper troops to patrol Ukraine after the ceasefire that probably won't happen. 3. Heavy fighting in the Kursk salient. I do remember reading "Ozma of Oz", in which the Wheelers appeared. Also TikTok, a clockwork man, who, IIRC, wore a bowler hat. The Wheelers were represented as being dressed like carnies. They were aggressive bullies, but ultimately proved to be toothless dogs, because with both arms and both legs being caster wheels, they could not carry or operate any kind of weapons, or even make a fist. And if they did stand to take a swing at someone, their feet would fly out from under them.

There's a lot more going on with these prison releases than is being reported. For example, Colette Peters (Director of the Bureau of Prisons) resigned upon Trump taking office. This was posted by Ace earlier today.
Very recently, the Inspector General of the Justice department was ordered by new legislation (from congress) to conduct a very detailed evaluation of of all 122 facilities and assign them a risk score as well as risk assessment and overall handling of inmates. Peters was required to respond within 60 days to those evaluations. That includes the facilities holding the J6'rs. And, if they purposefully overlooked the atrocious treatment and constitutional violations of those folks, or maybe even noted them. Well, then Peters had a big problem. As does the IG of Justice if he glossed it over. Maybe it's the IG trying for the Non-disclosure, because his report is to be read to Congress and the public. I've never seen anything along those lines. Posted by: Orson at January 21, 2025 10:56 PM (dIske) 219

If the Covid lockdowns didn't drive you wall-climbing insane, you're probably an introvert. Posted by: mikeski at January 21, 2025 11:02 PM (DgGvY) ----------------------- This is me. I opposed the lockdowns as I oppose any police state bullshit, but in my day to day life they made little to no difference. I live in a rural area and work remotely. I go out to exercise, to the grocery store every week or ten days, and to the gas station once or twice a month. I have three or four people with whom I socialize in person a few times per year. For fun, I fish and I read sci-fi novels and I do ham radio and I play video games. I shoot at a privately owned range when nobody else is there. I don't go to taverns or to public events. Teresa, you have plenty of time to try the ivermectin and fenbendazole. It cannot hurt to try.
Brightworkresearchtreatment.com Posted by: Tammy-al Thor Ivermectin is worth a try. You can get tablets of 12 mg each, and take one a day. With liver cancer, you should probably not take fenbendazole. Take Liposomal vitamin C. This will slow down metastasis of the cancer. Take as much as you can choke down. Even better, if your physician would agree to give you vitamin C intravenously a couple of times a week. Liposomal vitamin C does a better job of getting into your blood stream. Take Vitamin D3 with Vitamin k2, 5000 IU a day, at least. Vitamin D helps your own immune system work better. If you have taken the mRNA vaccine or mDNA vaccine, this might be hindering your own immune system. N-acetyl cysteine taken orally forms glutathione in your body, which helps dissolve the spiked protein from the vaccines. Or, take Nattokinase (a natural enzyme derived from Soy beans) that will also attack and dissolve the spiked protein from the vaccine. Drink Mushroom tea...Chaga tea. Several cups a day, at least. This has a lot of enzymes and components that aid in healing. And prayer. Posted by: A face in the crowd.... at January 21, 2025 11:25 PM (tjZg/) 286

Refusing a Presidential pardon of (illegal) detaining?
Yeah, now YOU get to go to jaill Trump's first test. And yes he should set a deadline and let them know that anyone and everyone involved with the release process will be arrested one minute after that deadline expires. Posted by: 18-1 Deadline already passed at noon when Biden left the WH and the end time of the pardons were passed. Whether Trump pardoned the J6ers later on the 20th or next month the jailers continued the conspiracy to deprive J6ers civil rights under color of law. That the jailers continue to hold them after becoming aware of the pardon puts the jailers into the position of unlawful imprisonment. Trump should send one US Marshall in to tell the first jail staffer to release them now. If they balk, three seconds is enough, inform them they are under arrest for unlawful imprisonment and violation of civil rights under rcolor of law, "assume the position"... Three seconds then send in hostage recovery teams to clear the jail. Yes, shoot any guards who hesitate slipping their face to the floor immediately. Then round up the rest of the fuckers as co-conspirators including those on the J6 Committee. But it's fully weather proofed and has running water for the sink, and 2 windows. As long as it isn't too muggy or godforsaken cold, I use it for....I mean, I'm a chick, so naturally I don't do anything as gross as pooping, but if I did, I would use the outhouse, weather permitting.

Deadline already passed at noon when Biden left the WH and the end time of the pardons were passed.
We also had an encyclopedia set. It has long since been donated. I am not sure I would trust a modern day encyclopedia as I could only imagine how they are edited by the current crop of woke academia and pseudo-scientists. They have already ruined National Geographic and the Smithsonian Magazine (and the Institute itself).
Btw - the solution to the J6 jail slow roll is to dispatch the US Marshalls (a force of about 20 to 30 ought to do it), with copies of all the pardons, to the J6 jail in DC. They then officially serve the orders and demand immediate release of the individuals. If the order is not obeyed, then the Marshalls will begin the process of arresting the J6 jail officials for obstruction of a lawful order as well as violation of 8 U.S.C. § 242. No, because Tiger was the better golfer, as opposed to fact checkers who are mostly pure fake, or actually pure propagandists. But I liked Daly's free style form and long drives. I didn't think that Japan allowed any immigration at all, let alone muzzies. Posted by: Alberta Oil Peon I was just going to say the same thing. Is this a recent policy change? They must believe they are in a death spiral to allow that. ======== Japan got pressured to take some in a few years back. There have been a number of workers from the Middle east before, but not many. I don't know who was responsible for said pressure. I suspect it was their own soft-headed Lefties, and the Potato's people. The Muzzies have not made themselves welcome. Why? Because Japn is VERY homogenous, so the secret to success in Japan while being a gaijin is to be as close to Japanese common culture as you can be. It's not possible to be 100%, but they really like it when you give it your best shot. If you can do that they will forgive much. the Muzzies (mostly male, few families) don't fit in, refuse to fit in, and thus rapidly use up any good will they've garnered. then they complain when the Japanese authorities come down on them for disrupting the homogenous societal status quo. As to the earlier question of "who killed Jesus?"
"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world for our glory 8 wisdom which none of the princes of this world knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory." Evil princes of this world (Satan and his "fallen angels") did it. BUT, Jesus gave his life of his own free will. "Then said Jesus unto him, "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" And no, "we" are not responsible. Adam is responsible. "Romans 5:19 (KJV) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous." Doesn't matter. Uyghurs routinely assert their dominion over the Chinese. It doesn't work, and it only engenders more Chinese wrath. They don't care. It's the Muslim way. And then, his legs buckled as he tried to get off of it. I found him at 4:30 a.m., laying on the landing at top of stairs and he was unable to stand up. Thankfully, the lift chair blocked him from falling down the stairs as he struggled to stand! It *could have been* so much worse! That's the moment when I knew for sure that he couldn't remain home. RE: Teresa in Fort Worth and cancer
I'm sorry for the current prognosis and pray for further healing for you. On the positive side, and we all need those whenever we can get them, every day is an advance in med tech and the jigsaw puzzle that is cancer. You remain unique as an individual and can deviate from other cases. And, optimally, a) you'll deviate on the longer time frame both from natural survivability and from current Rx regimens, and b) oncologists may employ a new, improved regimen or procedure that is, today, experimental and, in six months, clinical. That is to say better options are always in development. The longer you hang around, the higher chance of remedy or "cure" entering your case. I hope this doesn't come across as too harsh or sterile as clearly it's not my intent. But there is hope in reality even if it's stark at this snapshot in time. And hope is eternally valuable currency now. Oh, and f*ck cancer. Posted by: AnonyBotymousDrivel at January 22, 2025 01:30 AM (aXxgO) 439
