Not a bad day. We have a Chromebook and two tablets that Her Majesty were complaining did not work. Naturally, this is my fault, even though i don't use them and I'm responsible for getting figuring it out.

Turns out that all three were suffering from nothing more than extremely dead batteries. As in, they required a couple of hours of charging just to get them to read 0%. Your humble servant resuscitated them, got them going and laboriously updated.
