Hadrian, calcification should have been demonstrated via x-ray analysis by your doc, not only by radiologist. A skilled orthopedic surgeon is who you want to see. Sometimes a simple injection in the right spot can fix matters but you want a doc skilled at doing that via imaging.
Sometimes ultrasound can be used to break up calcification as mentioned above but with inconsistent results for patients due to location and skill of operator. The weird EKG needs analysis by a cardiologist as it could indicate blockage issues separate from your issues. Last is nerve impingement issues that require a nerve conduction study. Nerve impingement does not show in X-rays or cat or MRI scans without contrast dyes. A good ultrasound operator can do it if their equipment is calibrated correctly and skilled at imaging interpretation. Typically nerve conduction is first then imaging and shoulder pain from impingement can actually come from the spine but show up in the shoulder. Normal cycle is tingling, numbness, then pain either sullen or even fiery. Numbness and pain from nerves need to be addressed quickly. But nerve conduction may not diagnose if the pain is long lasting in time Posted by: whig's phone at December 30, 2024 08:45 PM (ctrM5) 139
