The Morning Report — 12/18/24

BessBrown25.jpg

Good morning kids. The links are mostly depressing and sickening. In other words, a day ending in "Y."

Maybe we can get Kentanji Brown-25 Jackson on the podcast to give us a rousing rendition of "Bess You Is My Woman Now." Of course, having her belt it out to Richard Levine (Admiral Bull No-Ballsy), dressed in full Naval regalia as Piss-Boy second class aboard the HMS Greasy Bastard, cruising West Hollywood towards the Cape of Good Hope, would give it that extra bit of oomph to lift our spirits, no?

The common theme seems to be the two-headed beast of Democrat-Leftism and Islam that wants us completely subjugated and preferably dead.

First, the gunning down in cold-blood of an insurance executive is viewed as a perfectly understandable, even laudable, reaction to "evil capitalism," while we have no idea of course why a teenage latter-day bobby-soxer would mow down children and teachers at a Christian school in Madison WI. Despite the initial drive to suppress the extensive diaries this deranged product of Feminism kept, it's plain as day:

Her manifesto, entitled ‘War Against Humanity,’ was published on X by journalist Anna Slatz of Reduxx Magazine. It reveals a visceral hatred for human beings, whom Rupnow calls “filth.”

When you consider the radical environmentalist movement and its drive to "save the planet" includes killing off or otherwise preventing the birth of at least a couple billion people. You can see where this little sweetheart's head is at and how it got that way. Easy to imagine Greta von Thule Thunberg toting an AK and shooting up a church while belting out Ride of the Valkyries.

The punchline of a rather crude joke about Jewish women, is "Because they can't stand to see anyone else have a good time."

Among it's many hatreds, and perhaps at the root of it all, self-hatred fuels much of the Left's insanity. Because the past 2,000 years of Judeo-Christian and Western civilization with individual freedom and the concomitant need for individual responsibility stands in the way of their twisted belief in paradise on earth and the perfectibility of man – if only they were in charge instead of what they mock as the mythical sky god.

Surprisingly, Eric Adams, the Democrat mayor of an epicenter of blue Democrat shithole-ism hit the nail on the head:

While the evidence all appears to confirm Mangione is the killer, in a lot of ways, it just doesn’t make sense why this kid, who grew up privileged and went to an Ivy League school and everything, would be driven to murder.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has something to say on that issue that the Democrats won’t be happy about. Adams bluntly described a disturbing trend he’s witnessed among young people in America. Speaking candidly about the radicalization of youth, he addressed the troubling case of Mangione, drawing a direct line between the shooter’s upbringing and the toxic influence of the education system that led to his violent actions.

Adams was quick to point out that Mangione’s background doesn’t fit the typical profile of someone prone to radicalization. “Ivy League, grew up in an affluent household,” he said, emphasizing the disconnect between the shooter’s privileged life and his eventual descent into hatred.

“His manifesto clearly is showing some signs of hating,” Adams continued, underscoring that even those with seemingly ideal circumstances can be consumed by a dangerous ideology.

The mayor then turned his focus to the broader problem at hand: the radicalization of America’s youth. “Our children are being radicalized,” Adams stated, “I said this over and over again, and everybody’s like, you know, ‘What are you talking about, Eric?’” His frustration with the lack of attention to the issue was clear, but his message was undeniable. This isn’t just a fringe problem; it’s becoming a mainstream crisis.

Sidenote, I am sick to death of the abuse of this word "Privileged." It alludes to the fact that coming from money somehow is evil. And yet the bulk of crimes violent or otherwise are committed by the so-called underprivileged, and when you look at the facts, mostly minorities. And that gets twisted into racism and poverty thanks to white supremcacy, capitalism and America as founded, so to hell with that noise. Good on Adams for not spouting that crap.

Idea for Kentanji's encore: "You've Got To Be Carefully Taught . . . "

And yet while all of their schemes come crashing down, sadly mostly on our heads and not on their's, Perhaps at long last there seems to be an awakening among the heretofore disinterested or otherwise low information crowd that something is indeed wrong. Here's something positive in that regard that I think not only helped propel Trump to victory but is fueling much of the discontent around the world, and in the West.

Chicagoans were removed from a recent city meeting after voicing disagreement with the Democrat mayor’s proposed budget that would give more funds to migrants.

When Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) proposed his 2025 budget on Monday, some members of the public erupted in protest, Fox News reported on Tuesday. “This meeting will stand in recess,” someone is heard saying into a microphone as numerous voices grow louder and louder. “I’m gonna ask that the Sergeant at Arms clear every member of the public,” the man continued . . . One resident who was wearing a red t-shirt with the words “CHICAGO FLIPS RED” on it, addressed officials during the meeting.

She said, “You caused all this money to go to illegal immigrants. Anything that you all pass is not genuine.”

In another time and place, Johnson and his political antecedents would've had them all put against a wall and shot. Hell, not four years ago, hundreds of people in and around Washington DC were arrested and thrown in jail for protesting not even half as stridently as these people, and over what was obviously a compromised and really a stolen 2020 election.

While we noted on a recent podcast a change in attitude, similar to what the protesters in Chicago here is reflected in the reaction from most New Yorkers to the acquittal of Daniel Penny, which was in the main positive, regardless of race.

And so now with the truth about what really happened to George Floyd coming out, does Officer Derek Chauvin have a chance at a justified exoneration in his death, and if that happens what would be the reaction? Perhaps that would be a bridge too far for people to connect the dots from Daniel Penny to Derek Chauvin? It would require self-deprogramming of the poisonous propaganda of the past 60 years that the police are inherently racist, white supremacist and there for the sole purpose of committing genocide against black males.

Carefully taught, indeed.

In that vein, here's an interesting suggestion for President-elect Trump:

Legal analyst Gregg Jarrett and prominent attorney Alan Dershowitz made a case Tuesday evening on Fox News for why President-elect Donald Trump should consider pardoning Democratic New York Mayor Eric Adams if the evidence shows the mayor’s case was pure political retaliation. In September, Adams was charged by federal prosecutors with five counts of bribery and fraud, accused of seeking and accepting improper valuable benefits from foreign businesspeople, including a Turkish government official, for nearly a decade. On “Hannity,” Fox host Sean Hannity questioned the two legal experts about Trump’s recent statement on Monday, noting he will “certainly look at” issuing a pardon for the official.

As I noted at the time, I suspect that Adams was likely guilty of the charges leveled against him, but that the only reason they came to light is because his loud criticisms of the Biden Junta's open borders policies and how they were and still are adversely affecting NYC were a major drag in the run up to the 2024 election. So it was obvious retaliation and a Luca Brasi dead fish in a flak jacket warning to other Dems who bitched. After all, Eric Adams is easily replaceable, especially in NYC.

But, shedding light on the politicization of the justice system by an Adams pardon, bolsters the need for reform and perhaps gains allies among disaffected heretofore unreachable Democrat constituencies.

UPDATE: This from commenter Ordinary American:

"Adams was quick to point out that Mangione’s background doesn’t fit the typical profile of someone prone to radicalization."

Are you kidding? It exactly fits the profile.

Indeed, considering especially the state of higher education which has been the seat of anti-American, Anti-Western and now anti-Semitic radicalization. We're going nowhere but to a mass grave or the gas chambers unless and until we take back Academia from K through Post-Grad and never let go of it.

Speaking of Insurrection:

“Our rifles will be pointed at the U.S. government and the Zionist entity,” declared the speaker at a recent pro-Palestinian rally in New York, as he described American “imperialists” as the “number one terrorists,” and expressed solidarity with Hezbollah, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, Iran, and other members of the “Axis of Resistance.”

Of course it's only insurrection and murder, when We The People legally and lawfully defend ourselves against these monsters, whether with our voices, lawsuits or should it be necessary, physical force. And as ever and always, their violence is speech and our speech is violence.

And as for Mike Johnson, he leads the GOP – Grifting Oleaginous Parasite party.

I think it is much more evil than just money. Privileged is a word like Kulak or Proletariat or Teacher that can be used to label a person that is not down for the cause and may be a roadblock for "progress".

22 One thing that bothers me about the Madison shooting, beyond the obvious, is that the shooter was a student at this Christian school and presumably was given regular instruction in Christian beliefs, ethics etc at school. Furthermore, presumably her parents were believers sending her to this school. Yet all that couldn’t overcome whatever she was seeing (probably online) that stoked all the hate. Handing your kids a smartphone is a huge gamble. I did it myself several years ago with my own kids (ignorant of the risks) and got away with it, thank the Lord. Smartphones and the sewer that is social media blending with young minds is a bad combo…

100 As an almost lifetime government employee - soldier and firefighter(volunteer) - I can safely attest that government is the root of ALL of our problems. And we still do nothing to curtail it.

The United Healthcare CEO gets whacked by a loony who doesn't understand that government took over health 'care' by pointing a gun at the industry's head; yes, they willingly signed on for 30 million forced customers.

Government 'messaging' through all media drove a kid to pick up a gun and kill kids in WI.

At least Trump is sidestepping government as much as he can by NOT using the GSA for transition and is creating a parallel Cabinet instead of using the Blob(DoState which is the overt command of the covert CIA).

101 There is an apocryphal story from ~1850 where a southerner and yankee talk. The southerner explains that a southerner's anger, when moved to action would be like a wildfire, continuing on out of control. The yankee (who was not named Jules or Vincent) counters that his kind of anger is like a steam engine (the most robust energy prior to petroleum) where a huge store of power would be focused toward a single point and complete the task.

Both of these describe the Civil war accurately, more unflattering than these two knew, and more tragedy. Puffery and big talk describe a danger, but also a hunger to have more control over a person's own way of life.

Every time my school talked about "HATE" it was as tone-deaf and condescending as a "very special episode" of a network comedy.

157 Sidenote, I am sick to death of the abuse of this word "Privileged." It alludes to the fact that coming from money somehow is evil.

--------

It's inaccurate. A lot of rich people are privileged; many are not. All Party men are privileged, though not all of them are not rich. Look at the Latin roots of the word. It means you're living under a special set of rules the rest of the public don't enjoy.

So, for instance, Martha Stewart is rich, but not privileged. She went to prison for insider trading that even an average person may well have skated for.

Meanwhile, ham-and-egging functionaries at the DoJ, while generally affluent, are not rich. But every last man jack in that department is completely above the law. They are very, very privileged.

ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos is said to be 'apoplectic' and 'humiliated' following the network's decision to pay $16 million to settle a defamation lawsuit between ABC and Donald Trump.

The settlement, which includes $15 million towards a presidential foundation and $1 million for Trump's legal fees, has sparked a firestorm within the Disney-owned news organization.

Stephanopoulos, a former aide to Bill Clinton in the 1990s, was particularly incensed at being compelled to issue a public apology, according to the New York Post.

188 "Adams was quick to point out that Mangione’s background doesn’t fit the typical profile of someone prone to radicalization."

Are you kidding? It exactly fits the profile.
Posted by: Ordinary American

This is not a new thing in the least. The current radicalism is continuation of the 1930-ish US Communist movement that then infected the 1960s radicals who since have infected several generations following.

A primary example. From Wikipedia, "Bill Ayers, co-founder of the Weather Underground, grew up in Glen Ellyn, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. His parents were Mary (née Andrew) and Thomas G. Ayers, who was later chairman and chief executive officer of Commonwealth Edison (1973 to 1980), and for whom Northwestern's Thomas G. Ayers College of Commerce and Industry was named."

Of course this is the same Bill Ayers who work with Obama at the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and later Ayers kicked off Obama's first campaign at his home.

The last 10 years of BLM, Antifa, Pro Palestine riots and protests come right from this tree and goes far in explaining why Mangione is being treated as a hero by these Marxists radicals: a Communist killed a Capitalist.

215 What may emerge in post Assad Syria won’t be anything admirable, but it’s going to far too chaotic and fractured to be any threat to anyone around it, especially now that the IAF has destroyed all the left behind heavy weaponry. A half dozen or more different militias and groups now control various regions and towns, and none of them are giving up what they control without a fight. The most optimistic case (and I do not think this is likely but it’s possible) is a loose confederation where a all groups keep what they hold and support a weak central authority that tries to mediate disputes. A 2nd possibility is that Turkey invades and attempts to annex the northern areas. And a third (and maybe most likely) is that the whole thing devolves into another Mad Maxistan like Libya today.

In none of these cases are the remnants of Syria capable of launching any kind of coordinated action against anyone else. As a country, Syria is finished, even though many don’t grasp that yet.

The problem remains the same as what we've already witnessed and experience in each of our own lives today.

Go find a gas can that isn't CARB compliant. They don't have to ban anything, they'll just stop producing working products because of (unelected) California Air Resource Board laws. And they're not going to make different products for different states:

"Other states can and have joined CARB, including Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state and Washington D.C. Basically, their emissions standards are stricter than federal requirements, so if you hear the term CARB states, that’s what they’re talking about."

Ditto. Hogg is the kind of young leader we need. He's a young person Democrats should listen to. Their donors and advisers haven't done so well.

I have serious doubts. We must move away from single-issue politics. Hogg has made his reputation on the gun violence issue. If that is why he is running, count me out. We can't return to power on any single issue. Harris tried that with abortion and it fell short.

No. He lacks the experience to do this job. He's a great talent with the brightest of futures, but there is a lot to learn in a high level position of anything.

Anyone can register a car anywhere. It’s not hard. The issue is you’re committing insurance. No insurance company will insure someone with a car registered in a state in which they don’t live. Which means you have to lie about it.

Do you want to risk having a. $1M liability claim denied to save $100 in registration fees? Go for it. For me it’s not worth the risk.

Aurora is already ~50% *legal* immigrant. They said they have systems in place to assist legal immigrants settle into town, and do not have the bandwidth to take on additional, illegal immigrants.

And you'll never guess what happened next! The federal government got busy dumping 10's of thousands of Venezuelans in Aurora. Polis initially played dumb re: the gangs, then when it could no longer be ignored, condescendingly lectured Aurora that they know better than to let this happen to their community.

"Our stewardess was so old, bless her heart. . . . You know how some women get those little crows' feet around their eyes? This broad had mastodon tracks."

Something like banning cars will make Cali lose 20 seats in 2040.
