He says he might look into sparing TikTok from Biden's plan to force China to sell it. He says he has a "soft spot" for TikTok because it helped him "win the youth vote by 34 points." That's.... not accurate. He didn't win the youth vote. He lost it. But he did improve his performance with the youth vote, including a +24% gain in Michigan.

They have no reason to call for new elections risking their seats until 2029. What you might see though is Starmer being replaced before any elections happen. Guy keep stepping on one rake after another over there plus sleaze in his past.

Why would one use a drone to search for it? Even a drone equipped with a sensitive radiation detector would be unlikely be able to detect radio-meds if they were kept in their original shielded containers. If the radioisotopes were the target of the theft, chances are they are out of the country, or in a secure facility until such time as the perps decide to deploy them. If the theft were random, or targeted for other stuff in the shipment (narcotics?), chances are the radioactive stuff, in it's original containers, has gone to a landfill.

The 8000+ number of pardons is misleading. 6,500 of those was a mass pardon of pot possession charges. Other presidents have done mass parsons and there is always an asterisk explaining that. (draft dodgers in WW2 and Vietnam, confederate soldiers, etc.)

Bernie was popular with young males shut out economically from the new economy and Bernie used the old rhetoric of social class rather than identity politics espoused by the new Democrats that was appealing to them.
Most people want to be a part of something virtuous (to them) and that is the saddest thing that has been manipulated so many times by politicians and revolutionaries in order to gain power.
Disillusionment of a society when it figures out it has been lied to for years often destroys the very trust needed to run a country without extreme coercion by the regime.

Also sounds like entirely too small an amount of material to be dangerous if dispersed in a dirty bomb.

The usual assumption of dirty bombs back when I knew anything about it would be something both toxic in its own right and deadly in terms of radiation. A bit fear were issues of medical isotopes being used in the past or nuclear processing waste in countries abroad.
