IG Report on January 6th Admits That Fed Agents Entered the Capitol, But Denies That the FBI Urged Them to Commit Illegal Acts or Encourage Others to Commit Illegal Acts

Another whitewash from our deplorable and corrupt government.

From the report:

Twenty-six FBI CHSs were in Washington, D.C. on January 6 in connection with the events of January 6.
The OIG determined that three of those CHSs had been tasked by FBI field offices to report on specific domestic terrorism case subjects who were possibly attending the events of January 6. One of these three CHSs entered the Capitol during the riot. The other two entered the restricted area around the Capitol.
Twenty-three additional FBI CHSs were in Washington, D.C., and attended January 6 events, but we determined that these CHSs did so on their own initiative and were not tasked by FBI field offices to attend the events. Of these 23 CHSs, three CHSs entered the Capitol during the riot and an additional 11 entered the restricted area around the Capitol.

Sure. On their own initiative. Sure.

BTW, no mention of Ray Epps.

The remaining nine CHSs who attended the events of January 6 did not enter the Capitol or the restricted area or otherwise engage in illegal activity.
Although many of the 26 CHSs who attended January 6 events had provided information relevant to the January 6 Electoral Certification before that day, the sources' information was no more specific than, and was consistent with, other sources of information that the FBI and its WFO had received about the potential for violence on January 6, including from other sources, tips the FBI received, and from social media. A few of the 26 CHSs also provided information about the riot as it occurred.

The IG is executing a modified limited hang-out, as Nixon said about his partial admissions on Watergate. They're admitting some, while denying the most important stuff.

The media doesn't like this because they've been vowing for years that no confidential human sources or fedagents entered the Capitol.

So they're actually lying about what the report says -- big shock, I know -- and claiming that there were zero fed agents at the Capitol, just completely falsifying the report:

In fact, this term is rarely used to refer to a confidential undercover agent, but usually just paid informants.

FBI normally does not go around in FBI windbreakers unless press is around. They dress like you and I and a January crowd in DC is likely to be bundled up on coats, etc. So, the FBI did not need 'undercover' agents as they are almost always in plain clothes anyway same as detectives. Using the word under cover simply allows Wray to mislead by incomplete information.

Ditto for other federal agents outside of uniformed police officers. Even the Cap Hill cops have plainclothes security not really distinguishable with you or I.

Spent some time in Green Bay in a Holidome motel right across from Lambert Field as a kid just after the glory years of Lombardi. Went to the museum several days and saw the stadium (we were there off season).

Ate with my folks at Fuzzy Thurston and Max McGee's restaurant/bar, The Left Guard.

Wonderful folks but I was warned by my parents to not ask for margarine aka the fake butter consumed in the South, while I was there.

Learned the real stuff was far better than oleo margarine as it was called back then.

This is very controversial. It used to be for foreign audiences, and forbidden from broadcasting in USA but then (I think) Clinton argued that we needed to remove that rule so it could broadcast to Cuba since it would also be received in FLA. So now it is available in USA, but then it got taken over by Chinese commies. A Principal at a school was cheating at 7-11. They have self serve coffee here. Usually the coffee machine is right near the door, and the cashier can not see you use it since he is on other side. So he was buying a med size but then taking a large cup.

He was found out, and got fired. Community felt he was not of right character to be around kids.

One thing I have wondered about hell is whether one will know he is in hell while bad things are happening over and over. It would be more terrifying to me, for example, if I had to watch my family die over and over or get burned to death over and over if I thought it was happening in "real life." If you know it's all part of being in hell, part of the anguish is removed. You could imagine that your kids are not in hell with you. So I think hell would be like one long waking dream/reality where you are convinced what is happening to you is "really" happening.

Read Robert Caro's award winning biography or even those of the Kennedy aides shoved aside by LBJ (see Richard Goodwin, etc.). Bet RFK Jr has a few choice words about that bastard as well.

Along with FDR, Obama, and Wilson, LBJ was one of the most loathsome and vile critters to ever enter the White House.

Yes, to my knowledge no such requirement exists for presidential pardons as they derived from the older absolute form of pardon of the British monarchy.

You do have to admit guilt in open court for guilty pleas already which many of the Jan 6 were forced to do via lawfare. Yeah, I know about Alford pleas and Nolo pleas but both require direct Main DOJ approval before being offered.

A guilty plea makes appealing the conviction, even with substantial government misconduct discovered post hoc only fixable via a pardon.
