Everything is ruining the planet...
Rock-stacking is one of humanity's most ancient art forms. But it is also contentious. Hike far enough on just about any trail in the world, and you'll likely spot a collection of stones placed atop each other that form impromptu sculptures. Some call them cairns. Others favor more colorful terms like "stone balancing" or "prayer stone stacks." Whatever the name, the act of stacking rocks atop each other is ubiquitous. Over the past decade or so, for better or worse, rock-stacking has become even more popular. What many don't know, though, is that the practice is controversial, particularly in national parks and other protected areas. Depending on who you ask, it can be a crucial navigational device, a rewarding mindfulness practice or an environmental menace. Clinton tears always make morning coffee happier. This was from The People's Voice. Bill had the sadddzzzz.
"Former US President Bill Clinton is blaming the “mainstream media” coverage of Hillary Clinton’s email controversy for her loss in the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. For years, Democrats have accused Russia of helping Trump defeat Clinton, despite no evidence ever been found to back the allegations. In a recent interview to with MSNBC to discuss his book ‘Citizen: My Life After The White House’ the former president highlighted the “rage” he felt after his wife lost to Trump, despite polls predicting her victory. RT reports: The 42nd American president took aim at media outlets for their focus on his wife’s controversial use of a private email server for official correspondence instead of a protected, government-controlled one, during her time as US secretary of state between 2009 and 2013. Yeah Bill. The press had a love in for Trump and pulled out the knives for Hillary. And here she was so accomplished and lovable. Hillary was the Mary Lou Retton of US politics..... I suppose they have to be taken down periodically to keep there from being so many that they can't serve their purpose. Maybe the ranger had just such a purpose in mind. The brilliant idea behind Obamacare: Hey, let's take/restrict the earnings that doctors make from their labors and give it to the insurance companies and more importantly use it to build a big huge bureaucracy of lard-asses who do nothing but restrict your use of medical care. And this big fat layer of bureaucracy laying atop the entire medical industry will ackshewallee make everything cheaper and unicorns and brontosauruses will once more frolic in the world. Now everything you would have previously called a brontosaurus, they call a brachiosaurus, which was never a dinosaur name you heard in the 80s as a kid.
Posted by: FunkySeeFunkyDo The dino commonly known as brontosaurus is now call the apatosaurus. The reason is that previously brontosaurus and apatosaurus were thought to be two separate dinosaur types but it was then shown that the type specimens for these two were, in fact, the same genus and, according to convention, the first found's name is used and the apatosaurus was found first. Brontosaurus is a cooler name, though. Posted by: Anonosaurus Wrecks, Now With Peppermint Mocha! at December 11, 2024 10:50 AM (L/fGl) 320
