He most likely used a home made simple can (wish.com special?) with no booster, preventing it from cycling. Less likely would be a commercially available Beretta 92 or G19 with a locking slide for suppressor use, even more rare than the B&T setup, and usually much more difficult to acquire.

I do like how the guy that tweeted the B&T seemed impressed with the $2k price tag though, which is silly. Anything under 5 figures isn't really significant if you're actually going to whack someone professionally.

I have found, over the years of perusing here, that the collective opinion of the Horde on a posts's specific topic can usually be gathered in the first 50 comments of the thread. You have no idea how cool it is when a cat really likes/loves you. They are much more emotionally attuned to (the right) people than they are given credit for. And they don't need to be taken outside in a howling blizzard to relieve themselves. My first cat, before moving in, would periodically knock on my front door to hang out. I miss him a lot.

Cats have much more variation in personality, and having cats has helped me read human much better. Cats have many facial expressions, and you have to watch their ears, tail, body and figure out what is going on. Dogs are honest; cats are deceitful. All cats are liars, but the best are really good at it.

This is also training for life. If you think people are like dogs, you will get burned again and again. Once you understand cats, you become more discerning, shrewd, take nothing for granted.

The same cat purring on you contentedly is about to go downstairs and piss on the rug because reasons.

I'm actually fine with no pets, but that isn't an option, so we have cats.

I don't know if people remember this story, but there was a man that was having an affair with a female congress critter (maybe Ilhan?), and his wife was refusing to divorce him. A woman with her red hair, and her height and build, was mysteriously shot outside her building. My fave theory is that he hired a hit man to take her out, but he accidentally shot the wrong redhead. They did eventually divorce. I would too, if I thought my ex tried to have me killed!

A small town library I visited had a Veterans display of people who died in WW I, WW II, Korea and Vietnam.

The WW I deaths are largely "died in camp," "died of sickness" with very few being combat casualties. With WW II hardly any sickness, more accidents, play crashes, ships being sunk and combat. Very sobering.

Our elder cat is very territorial. She's sweet and quiet, but hates disruption. It really gets to here. So when a new cat was introduced, she didn't like it. She got used to it, but there was a lot of marking.

We had this with a previous cat when our youngest came home from the hospital. Sprayed all her stuff. She was adopted out.

We'd reached an equilibrium, but my daughter moving in and out of the house has really gotten to the elder cat. Took her to the vet, and yeah, she's pissed. She had a nice quiet house and my kid kept screwing it up. This is targeted marking. She's making a point.

Very sweet, but also bitchy if pushed. Her fate is still under discussion. She seems to be backing off, but relapses.

My mom had a lot of dogs among other animals. Her last two were a Golden and a Jack Russel. He was big, outgoing goof. A typical Golden. She was a very small little girl. Very quiet and atypical for a Jack. They adored each other and were inseparable and there was never any doubt who was in charge, she was. He followed her around and she would side eye him if he got too frisky and he would quiet right down.

When he died she mourned for 6 months. She would just lie by the glass backdoor and stare outside for hours looking for her buddy.

My Sis had a Jack just like that. Even tempered and actually sort of mellow. Her cats adored him. When he passed, they were all out of sorts.
