81 . So there are lots of cyclist groups out on the weekend

--

You just summed up almost the entire problem* in one sentence.

A bicycle is one vehicle, and other vehicles can pass your slow butt. A group of bicyclists pretend to be a semi truck and actively prevent traffic from moving. I don't mind them riding on the same roads as cars, but an individual on a bicycle is one vehicle and should either act that way or be ticketed.

I guarantee the majority of them are "slower traffic keep right" advocates when they get back to their vehicles and on the highway.

* the other obvious problem is that there are tons of roads everywhere, but for some reason the main thoroughfares providing the most inconvenience to drivers are the ones that they have to use for recreational purposes. One almost has to wonder if inconveniencing others is part of the kink.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum stated Canada has a ‘very serious’ fentanyl problem, worse than Mexico's, and is possibly linked to drug-decriminalization measures.

She also remarked that Canada should avoid using Mexico in "electoral campaigns," and that Canada "could only wish they had the cultural riches Mexico has," highlighting that her country is home to ancient civilizations that have existed for thousands of years.

In the alternative I made my annual contribution today to a scholarship for student peeps who want to be teachers. The scholarship was set up by my hairdresser, on of the most perfect people I know, and is dedicated to the memory of her daughter whose dream was to be teacher, a dream that was cut short when she was killed by a drunk driver twenty years ago.

If you wanted to join me in that I can give you the info.

And they all can't be naive enough to think that they will end up as Pelosi, or BO, or even Biden..they want their piece of the grift and the ability to live like CEOs or athletes or people that are actually skilled at something without really being skilled at anything besides being a cog politician... so some of them are going to see how things are going and realign. Think of all the Germans who were big Hitler men who suddenly no longer had any interest in Hitler stuff after 1945. THAT wasn't going to be helpful for the career any more, was it?

Jumaa facilitated weapons transfers from Syria to Hezbollah and maintained ties with Syrian Officials. A long-time member of Hezbollah, he previously held leadership roles in Lebanon and Damascus. The Israel Defense Forces said his death disrupts Hezbollah’s Operations and Arms Supply in Syria.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Lebanon that if the Ceasefire with Hezbollah collapses, Israel will no longer distinguish between the Lebanese State and the Terrorist Group. He emphasized Israel's commitment to enforcing the Ceasefire and responding strongly to violations. Katz called on Lebanon to ensure its Army keeps Hezbollah away from the Litani River and dismantles its Infrastructure. He warned that if the Agreement fails, Israel will take stronger actions against both Hezbollah and Lebanon.

208 Earlier today (Tuesday), the IAF conducted an intelligence-based strike in Damascus targeting Hezbollah’s representative to the Syrian military, Salman Nemer Jamaa.

The Syrian regime has actively supported Hezbollah, enabling weapon smuggling to Lebanon and by that endangering Syrian and Lebanese civilians. Jamaa was a key Hezbollah figure supporting these operations.

Jamaa, a senior Hezbollah terrorist, has held various positions in the Hezbollah terrorist organization over the past years, especially in the Syrian arena.

He had previously served as the Head of Intelligence in the Khiam arena, the Head of Operations in Hezbollah’s Damascus command center, and in recent years, Hezbollah’s representative to the Syrian military.

As part of his role, Jamaa was responsible for coordinating between Hezbollah operatives and the Syrian military, including supporting weapons smuggling from Syria to Hezbollah including during the “Swords of Iron” war. Additionally, he was in close contact with Syrian state officials.

Salman Nemer Jamaa's elimination degrades both Hezbollah’s presence in Syria and Hezbollah’s ongoing force-building efforts.
