Good morning kids. Today is "Black Friday" traditionally the start of the Christmas shopping season. Hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving meal, in the company of loving family and friends, and not deranged, bipedal vermin such as the degenerate scum who attempted to ruin the Macy's thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC.

Anti-Israel protesters tried to ruin the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the second year running Thursday, with cops quickly swarming in to gobble up roughly 25 arrests.
The firebrands entered the parade route at West 55th Street and Fifth Avenue, stopping the Ronald McDonald balloon in its tracks around 9:25 a.m., police said — and drawing loud jeers from parade-goers screaming at the killjoys to move.
Photos showed protesters sitting in the parade’s path, with some unfurling a large banner that read: “Don’t celebrate genocide!”. . . NYPD officers quickly descended upon the group, who shouted “Free, free Palestine!” as they were tackled to the ground and placed in handcuffs. . . ”This is disgusting,” said a Brooklyn cop. “There are times and places to peacefully protest, but not the Thanksgiving day parade. This a day for families to enjoy and not be interrupted by these a–holes.

So, do you get a coupon for a "Free Palestine?" Or is it included in the package with the semtex suicide belt? (While supplies last, or blast!) Hey, it is Black Friday but Black September is every day, Nein?!

Speaking of liberation, here's a little item of some interest, depending on who gets to hold the crayon and draw the lines:

In September, Kreuger spoke with City and State New York.com about a four-state secession from the union if Trump won, where New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Connecticut would join Canada . . “Basically everybody in these states are progressive Democrats” and they “would fit in pretty well with the political philosophy of at least most of the Canadian elected officials,” she contended. Krueger, whose district includes the Upper East Side and Midtown Manhattan, has even floated the idea with connections who say politicians in Ottawa could back it:

I'm sure there are a number of Canadian provinces, and smaller non-leftist regions/cities that are itching to escape the insanity of a Castreau-Cescu leftist dominated Canada and join the US, especially with Trump and Trumpism/traditional Americanism on the ascendancy. I'd be happy to have oil and mineral-rich Saskatchewan and the grain growing regions like Alberta enter the union in exchange for the Communist controlled northeast states that this hag fantasizes would break away.

With at least 10% of our approximately 330 million populace comprised of illegal alien migrants, Who needs to build detention camps when Krueger and her ilk will have a ready-made four-state detention camp to ship them to. And voila, millions of eager people all set to do the jobs Canadians refuse to do!

Of course, on the heels of death threats and bomb threats reported by Trump nominees and designees, we get this rather unsurprising story. Not because I expected it. Far from it. But because just like the supposed right-wing Trump-created insurrection on 1/6/21 there were supposed bombs at RNC and DNC headquarters on that day which almost four years later evidence of which has yet to materialize from the FBI/DOJ. Remember, the mythology is that Republicans and conservatives are violent Nazis, when even the most cursory examination of actual history and facts shows it's quite the opposite. And they can't have that, now can they? The memes, shibboleths and myths of who is good and who is evil must be preserved. After all, they are not fascists, are they?!

Multiple Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives from Connecticut were targeted with bomb threats on Thanksgiving.

The threats come a day after the Trump transition team announced that several of President-elect Donald Trump’s nominees received bomb threats.

Reps. Joe Courtney (D-CT), Jahana Hayes (D-CT), Jim Himes (D-CT), and John Larson (D-CT) all said in statements that their homes were targeted.

The lawmakers released the following statements:

Courtney: “Early this morning, Mr. Courtney’s home was targeted with a bomb threat while he and his family were at home to celebrate Thanksgiving. Thanks to the swift and professional response of Vernon Police Chief Marc Petruzzi and Lieutenant Robert Mara, the United States Capitol Police, and the bomb squad, the Courtneys are safe, and there was no evidence found of a bomb on their property. Joe and Audrey extend their utmost gratitude to the law enforcement officers, whose response should signal to perpetrators that these types of threats will not be tolerated.”

Color me highly skeptical, all things considered. And considering the reaction to the actual assassination attempts against Donald Trump, as well as the open targeting of Supreme Court Justices and their families by actual assassins, as well as the thinly-veiled threats against them by high ranking Democrats like Schumer, and the the threat against Trump which actually materialized as an operation by the Intel community. "They have 9 ways to Sunday to get at him" which is almost a verbatim quote. And considering, those aforementioned agencies are in the figurative crosshairs of Trump and a DOGE reckoning of their insubordination. corruption and treason. this kind of fakery is right up their street to preserve their hides and to ding Trump's efforts to dismantle and hold them accountable.

British Columbia would never join up though so I doubt the Canucks would let us chop their country in half with American states in between.

My peak enjoyment of Beck was around ‘’09 - ‘12 on Fox when he had the blackboard and went to town educating on his show. It really was a much needed thing in the early years of Obama and there really was nothing else like it on TV.

I already knew a lot about what Glenn was saying in those days but it was awesome to see it put out on TV like that.

But Beck lost me in 2016 with his Never-Trumper fiasco. He’s back in the fold now, of course, and I’ll occasionally see clips of him with his blackboard out today, but that Fox show was enlightening and entertaining during it’s short lifespan.

It won’t happen now; we just dodged that literal bullet. Saw an after election poll which elegantly showed why; it asked Democrat voters “are you motivated to action by Trump’s election.
44% - moved to oppose
10% - moved to support
46% - don’t want to do anything at all.

So, 56% of dem voters either want to support Trump or drop out of politics completely for a time. And actual insurrections are not caused by a minority of a minority party. They just spiral off into angry and ineffective irrelevance.

As has been said upthread, California has been changing its election laws to make all of this “legal”, so there’s nothing lawyers or court cases can do about it. The only real solution will begin after 2030, when the next census starts stripping seats from California - they may lose 4 or 5. But there’s no hope til then.

I keep it wound, and when I am not wearing it, I let it run in various positions (flat, on its face, or upright) so the jewels don't wear unevenly. Every 7-8 years it gets professionally cleaned. The cleaning may be an issue in the future, as fewer and fewer people are watchmakers any more - the older ones are all retiring.

Thanks! I like unusual stuff on the Christmas tree. Oh we have some fairly ordinary stuff but the "outside the box" stuff is my favorite. I've made ornaments out of old wine corks that my mom collected and old dead wrist watches of hers that my dad kept for reasons only known to him and God.

I’m hearing the 2030 census, if it’s done correctly, will take away several seats from the big blue states and give them to Texas and Florida, among others.

Doing anything will be difficult until Cali is no longer a one-party Dem state, though.

Unless the Big One hits and cleaves off the entire coast, I don’t see the GOP taking back control in my lifetime.

I hope to be proven wrong, though.
