Venezuelan Gangs Operating in Tennessee’s Mid-Size Cities: ”It’s Not Happening” ”It’s actually a good thing.”

Tren de Aragua arrest.JPG

We all know the propaganda sequence that occurs when conservatives shed light on the woke pathologies of the left which are imposed on society.

1) It’s not happening.

2) It may be happening a little, but it’s not a big deal.

3) It’s actually a good thing that it’s happening.

4) Only a bigot would oppose it from happening.

The story of Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua operating throughout Tennessee, including smaller cities such as Knoxville and Chattanooga, is quickly working its way through the left’s propaganda sequence. This foreign gang activity deep in the heartland is the result of the open borders policy that Democrats and the left support.

While I may have taken some liberties in the headline about which stage of the sequence we’re at, The “It’s not happening stage” quickly became inoperable after only a few days.

On Friday November 15, David Raush, the Director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), stated that violent Venezuelan gangs were operating in all of Tennessee’s major cities - not just Memphis and Nashville - but also Knoxville and Chattanooga.

“TBI Director Says Violent Venezuelan Gang Operating In Chattanooga, Other Tennessee Cities” [Chattanoogan – 11/15/2024]

Local officials in Chattanooga quickly pushed back…

“‘No evidence’ of Venezuelan gang in Chattanooga area after TBI director raised flags” [Chattanooga Times Free Press – 11/18/2024]

Chattanooga Police Department Chief John Chambers said his department has "no evidence to indicate that the gang is actively operating in our city" in a statement posted to social media Monday.

In fact, despite the Director of the TBI stating on the record that Venezuelan gangs were engaged in criminal activity in Chattanooga, including human trafficking, Chattanooga mayor Tim Kelly flippantly dismissed the TBI’s warning, stating to a local TV station that Tren de Aragua’s criminal activity is “not a concern for us right now in Chattanooga.”

To be fair, Tim Kelly is a trust fund eco-leftist who believes his purpose as mayor is to save the world from global warming. There is no reason to doubt his sincerity when Mayor Kelly states that South American gang activity in Chattanooga does not concern him.

Just one week later, a Tren de Aragua gang member was arrested in Chattanooga.

“Member of Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, arrested in Chattanooga” [Fox 17 Nashville – 11/25/2024]

In Operation Crime and Justice, a member of the violent Venezuelan gang now operating in Tennessee is charged in connection with a human trafficking operation in Chattanooga. Earlier this month, the TBI warned of the growing TDA gang in Tennessee's major cities.

Tennessee Conservative News has a pretty good roundup of this story, which notes that three women were also arrested, but rather than being Tren de Aragua members, these women are apparently being held in captivity and forced into prostitution.

TBI Director Rausch stated of these women, “they are victims as well,” and live in “great fear” of their captors as many women are kidnapped off the streets in Venezuela and then forced into prostitution in the U.S.

In other words, these women are sex slaves that have been smuggled into the U.S. by a criminal Venezuelan gang. Slavery is alive and well in Chattanooga, and the city’s Democrat mayor says this is “not a concern” of his.

As the propaganda sequence plays out, it’s only a matter of time now until we’ll be told that only a bigot would oppose a Venezuelan gang operating sex slavery rings in Tennessee.

People along the border have documented busloads of illegals, not "families" or kids, but military age, single men being brought to municipal airports and flown out with no security checks or anything. Even at Vegas there's been sightings of this, same for LAX.

Unbelievable. Well, except there are plenty of such people. One wonders about the color of the sky in their world.

An assistant sociology professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs argued during a recent conference that elections in North Korea are “thorough” and “community-based.”

In the tradition of communist and socialist election system, we discussed the candidates so thoroughly before even we cast the vote, that’s often why it’s like the election result is 100 percent,” Professor Haruki Eda said at the conference protesting U.S. involvement in Korea.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the House Committee on Homeland Security revealed documents obtained through a subpoena of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that identified over 50 airport locations, including our nation’s capital, used by DHS to help process into the country more than 400,000 inadmissible aliens through the administration’s unlawful Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan (CHNV) mass-parole program. The program was officially launched in January 2023, and the documents obtained by the Committee cover the period from January-August 2023—accounting for roughly 200,000 of these individuals.

According to these documents, as of mid-October 2023, there were 1.6 million inadmissible aliens awaiting travel authorizations through the CHNV program ...

62 There's an aspect of all this that I hope is being explored, constitutionally, which is that cities and counties are chartered by their states. They have been given authority, because the state, which is a constitutional entity, believes they are capable of managing their jurisdictions with sense and security.

When a city or other governmental entity shows themselves to be unable to do so, the states have the right to revoke their charter, or whatever they call it.

Get them on trial out where the thugs are engaging in their crimes and get the bureaucrats real prison time.

Oh and I guarantee if Trump digs hard enough he'll find the coyotes, the cartels, the gangs, and the flash mob thieves are all working hand and glove with elected Democrats.

They were roaming around the complex assaulting people, being typical assholes. The local cops wanted nothing to do with it.

The stories disappeared from the news rather quickly too. Just as we're being told there's nothing to the gangs in Springfield, Aurora, Chattanooga, etc.

89 TN is an example of why we/not the GOPe must be proactively aggressive in recruiting/educating people on local candidates. We must have Republican candidates running for every office and the more conservative the better.

That's a run on thought but the bottom line is education/recruitment and candidates. Last election at my polling there were 13 uncontested slots. I had a big conversation at the Republican tent after voting. They said we couldn't win that hill. I said you'll never win if you don't fight. 121 Template for future deportation stories in the MSM:

(Male name) and (female name) (Spanish surname) fled war torn (Central or South American country) for a better life. They cam here to take advantage of the great economy of the US under Joe Biden. They went to work at (local meat packing or other agricultural company) doing a job that the company owner says Americans "just won't do." Now that a wave of Christian nationalism has swept the country, (male name) and (Female name) have been apprehended and ordered deported. Complicating the issue, shortly after arriving in the US (female name) gave birth to a baby daughter (cute female name.) Little (cute female name) was ripped from her mother's arms as mom and dad were taken to the airport, leaving (cute female name) alone to fend for herself with no winter coat or even shoes. The computers have North Shore a 15 point favorite and I'm not going to argue with that. Their only common opponent is Atascocita, who came from behind to beat Katy in the 2nd game of the season and who North Shore beat on a last second score after trailing the whole game. The winner of today's game will probably play Atascocita in the state quarter finals next week.

The standard agreement forges the way for the incoming administration to coordinate with the federal agencies it will be leading.

Politico and other corporate media outlets have pumped up the drama meter, raising alarms about team Trump’s “unprecedented delay” in signing the agreement.

Wiles, co-manager of Trump’s successful presidential campaign, has signaled that the transition team will not sign a similar agreement with GSA, eschewing taxpayer funds and instead privately covering the cost of facilities and using its own cybersecurity operations.

178 Trump’s reluctance to work with the federal government’s procurement and real estate leviathan is understandable. The GSA and the FBI have a history of duplicitous conduct related to the 45th — and soon-to-be-47th — president.

In their 2020 report, Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ron Johnson, R-Wis., exposed how the GSA “secretly handed over the first Trump team’s privileged and confidential information to the FBI” (Federal Bureau of Investigation), even as the FBI played political games with the infamous and unfounded counterintelligence probe into Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Grassley at the time served as chairman of the Senate’s Finance Committee. Johnson led the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

229 Bounty?
When I was kid, I would get $15 American US currency as a bounty for coyote killing.
I had to bring the ears in as proof.
Then in the late 70s winter killed coyote, bobcat, and lynx pelts brought $100-$400.
In those days, Claude Dallas was making a living trapping predators on the Northern Nevada / Southern Utah border.

230 Tri-cities TN here. Umm, we aren't really mid-sized. If Chattanooga and Knoxville are mid-sized, we are way smaller than that. We are East TN, Appalachian smallish. towns. And we got the Venezuelan frijolero thugs operating here. Not good. Have to start carrying again.

233 We all know the propaganda sequence that occurs when conservatives shed light on the woke pathologies of the left which are imposed on society.

1) It’s not happening.
2) It may be happening a little, but it’s not a big deal.
3) It’s actually a good thing that it’s happening.
4) Only a bigot would oppose it from happening.

And ultimately, after the backlash becomes too public, universal, and inconvenient

5) Why are they complaining? Somebody remind the rubes that this was their/their candidate’s doing.

235 Those are the exact 4 "stages of cope" I see the left using to defend cancel culture.

1) It’s not happening. "Cancel culture isn't real, its a thing made up by conservatives, just like the so-called War on Christmas"

2) It may be happening a little, but it’s not a big deal. "JK Rowling, Ricky Gervais, Kevin Hart, etc. have all managed to keep working so its not even worth worrying about."

3) It’s actually a good thing that it’s happening. "The not-happening thing is actually just ACCOUNTABILITY culture, so its good that it's happening, even though it isn't."

4) Only a bigot would oppose it from happening. "Shut up racist!'

236 Apropos of silly explanations for bad conditions, I remember a few years ago when a party flunky in Venezuela explained the toilet paper shortage as a result of the plethora of food due to the roaring success of their economic policies— in other words, things were so rosy that people were eating more and thus defecating more, resulting in not enough toilet paper. Imagine the slavish submission to the party, and the imposing need for a job, that would lead to you saying that with a straight face 😄
