The Morning Report 11/20/24

open thread this morning. Well it certainly looks like they're pulling out all the stops to steal a senate seat in PA. Just as was likely the case here in Wisconsin. We'll see if they can pull it off. So far from What I can tell it might not go their way. Hovde here in Wisconsin conceded far too early. And where was the GOP???? yeah.

And yet Here we are. Inauguration will be lit! Maybe by a Russian icbm. Meanwhile per Breitbart a paper shredding truck was seen outside the DoJ. You think maybe they fear the coming of Matt Gaetz?

Have a great day.

11 “We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.” CSL

The men without chests are quite at home in Washington D.C. and among modern academics who constantly defer to expertise and authority, which is one way to separate the soul from your heart. It’s also a way to give up American liberty. The men without chests are most comfortable in politics where they burrow in to avoid accountability, and into the federal bureaucracy, where they been allowed to rule for decades without pushback from the American people. As I type a final draft of this on a Saturday, the noted Fox News Washington establishment pearl-clutcher Neal Cavuto, who replaced Chris Wallace in the network’s pearl-clutching role, pretends he’s worried and shocked about Trump’s proposed cabinet selections.

34 Down here in FL-01, we have two candidates who have filed election papers with intent to run for the vacant Matt Gaetz seat.

- Dan Frankman, a former Green Beret who resigned from the Army rather than take the clot shot.

Frankman is MAGA to the core, Salzman is obviously not.

59 Biden could have approved all of these weapons uses months ago during the summer fighting season in Ukraine.

But no, he waits until after the election to allow these provocations solely for the purpose of binding Trump up and preventing peace efforts.

There is nothing more Zelensky can do in the next few months that’s going to magically make this thing winnable. They’ve had close to three years and it’s been pretty much a stalemate since the winter of ‘22.

All they can do is something stupid enough to force NATO troops in and that seems to be the plan.

60 In this day and age I find it almost comical that paper shredders are still a thing being used to destroy evidence. FedGov electronically squirrels away dozens of electronic copies of literally every document pecked out on a computer.

But you go DoJ... to me it's just street theater.

And, try as they may, I'm betting most of the electronic copies that the rank and file DoJ would love to delete are effectively out of their reach. The GS-09 IT guy in the basement isn't going to risk it all to wipe a couple server's worth of data for a greasy 3rd floor bureaucratic drone.

I believe the charge is a federal felony too. The fact that there is not one whistle blower coming forth tells you how despicable the people at the DOJ are. An entire hive of scum and villainy.

The good news is that the Gates DOJ gets to infer the absolute worst in court about every record destroyed by the people at the agency, and so does any potential jury in TX. Why TX, why not? The Gates DOJ gets to infer all of the destroyed documents concerned felonious mopery involving the border in TX. The Defendants get to ask the 5th Circuit and then SCOTUS for a change in Venue. Good luck with those motions.

It's quite the neat trick.

I've seen analysis where they believe it isn't actually in stalemate. Theoretically, Russia has secured the territory they care about - although they'll continue advancing if the Ukes pull back - and now they're just about killing all the Ukes they need to kill until the fighting stops.

As with all analysis, this take is based somewhat on the biases of the analyst but I find it interesting.

Lutnick, Chairman & CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, served as the Co-Chair of President Trump’s White House transition team alongside Linda McMahon.

He is also of the idea that tariffs are used to move tariffs to zero. Either 1) reward US manu with tariff rebates via tax credits or 2) move to zero tariff between FAIR trade countries.

It is unclear if during the past 12 days of high international tension the Kremlin dictator has been holed up in a hi-tech bunker, unwell, underwent another round of plastic surgery, took a secret holiday or simply chose to remain out of sight. Yet Putin, 72, has not been definitively seen since an appearance at the Valdai Forum in Sochi on November 7 when he congratulated a "courageous" Donald Trump on his election victory and hinted he was ready for talks to end the war in Ukraine, according to the Faridaily Telegram channel, which monitors his movements and appearances.

The only thing the continuance of this sham accomplishes is the theft of US taxpayer money, the continued death of Ukranians and a worse deal for the Ukranians when a peace deal is forced on the situation in 60 days.

The files were downloaded by a person using the name Altam Beezley at 1:23 p.m. on Monday...

Or the extent of the coverup is far, far worse than we know.

If it's simply routine for the government to engage in destruction of federal records--contrary to the records retention laws they are supposed to obey--then that's a rather large problem...

Or it could simply be the normal destruction of records that have "expired" and are taking up too much space.

Yes, some years even get an easy to read colorful pie chart that really emphasizes the theft. But it's never broken down by $. It's by %. Like .000484 total, .00002 for district etc. you've got to break out the calculator to determine how many dollars of your personal share goes to district.

Maffs hard.

I live in a place where out of staters own expensive recreational property and they cannot vote. And the taxes don't even register on their budget.

The levy has failed by anywhere from 100 to 400 votes. Locals of course. Those people do notice, not wealthy , and a 40% increase hits hard.

As noted, the greatest, most dynamic period of music was a 20 year stretch from 1975 to 1995, pretty much every thing started to go down hill starting around 1998 and accelerated to around 2010, and pretty much everything beyond 2010 is garbage.

I often get to the counter in Walgreens when I'm picking up a prescription or something, with say a Phil Collins song from the 80's on and remark to the cashier, ahhh, you got the oldies going, great song, the typically blink, I smile.

Theresa, if you haven't, please get a 2nd opinion from MD Anderson. Traditional chemo would have given me under 2 years. Current immunotherapy (which yes, I had to fight for, and my doc had to fight for me) doesn't have such narrow limitations.

Cost and foreverness (you don't stop taking it unless it stops working or you can't handle it) is immunotherapy's biggest problem. But it has worked miracles for folks who at diagnosis have awful prospects...and there are new types being developed every day that replace the ones that no longer work for folks so you might move from one to the next...

Lady across the street from me came by and talked with the First Lady. She wasn't aware of her diagnosis. She was upset by it. She confided in me later that she'd taken a fall while working and was taken to the ER. They discovered her spleen was swolen and care-flighted her to Dallas. They did surgery on her to remove her spleen, then informed her she has Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

And remember, man-caused damage is done and then lays for a decade or two before coming out as most cancers. The military has done its research that its forever chemical water damage takes a decade or two to come out as cancers (I was right on target for that)...

On that point, the military has conceded that I was the victim of toxic exposure this week...so my package is halfway there. Thanks to all for the prayers for me.

And my cancer check was so good yesterday on immunotherapy, doc has decided to drop his desire to add/change anything with treatment and we're just going ahead on solo med for the next 7 months...

I strongly believe it’s the COVID “vax”.
I told both my parents to not take the things because there was no way they could know if they were safe after conceiving & testing & releasing the vax in six months.

I told them they’d be guinea pigs.
They didn’t listen and both got their two doses.

Within six months my father had lung cancer. They caught it early, he went through the treatments, is now cancer free but has never been the same, heath wise, since.

My mother got diagnosed with lung cancer a year after the vax, had treatment, and then surgery to remove the tumor. She was great for a year after that and then started getting pains in her lower back.

She died in a hospital in February of this year of pneumonia and kidney failure after being put on a ventilator for a week.

I will forever blame fed.gov and Pfizer for what happened to both of them.

School Choice is scaring the shit out of teachers. They're afraid. I believe it's because for the first time in younger teachers lives, they're going to be judged on merit and not all labeled 'heroes' just for having the job. There will be accountability and the lazy f*cks will have to EARN a position in the schools that thrive while the others fail.

It will piss families off because their rundown shithole schools that don't give a f*ck about their kids and it's just a means to unload their child for a few hours will go away and EDUCATION will become a priority.

It's going to be painful, but worth it.

Same for all the other governmental changes that are hopefully on the horizon.

But they're very popular. So's cancer.

Both my dad and step-mom had Moderna and one or 2 boosters. I advised them to stop.

Dad passed a month ago, from what I'm NOW told was kidney cancer and my step-mom has Parkinson's and early onset Alzheimer's.

Now, she DOES have Parkinson's in her family history.

First Lady's best friend had a cancer which was getting treated, but wasn't going all that well, but her husband worked for a vet, so Ivermectin was available. She went into remission and the Dr's were amazed, then pissed when they found out what she did. One strongly suggested she get 'vaccinated' due to her immunocompromised state. She did. The cancer came back with a vengeance and she was gone less than a year later.

343 >> I'm really starting to buy into my theory that they're doing this to us and cancer is largely man 'caused.'

That’s because most of it is. There was a time it was largely genetic or exposure based. Now it’s coming from the toxicity in food and water. Nobody can convince me otherwise.

There are at least 1,000 chemicals in our foods that Europe bans. That’s before we get to pesticides and things like fluoride and other contaminants in the water. Products used in food production like seed oils make things even worse. Then we get to other factors like exercise.

We need to start by getting big food, big chemical, and big pharma out of our government halls and into the trash bin. If they want to fight, let’s dance. Enough is enough. Time to take back our government from K Street.

He had met w/his cardiologist two weeks prior, with 98% pulse-ox and no sign of lung issues. Still no explanation for it, but they say scarring from pneumonia years ago made his lungs more vulnerable.

We need a full accounting of mortalities/disease rates since 2020 and many people need to be prosecuted for this.

Doctors are smarter than average but they're not omniscient. They know what they've read. It's up to everyone to learn as much as they can about their own/health condition. The sad thing is that there are doctors who really seem to hate it when you have an opinion of your own which contradicts the official narrative.

417 Mr. Kennedy has singled out Froot Loops as an example of a product with too many ingredients. In an interview with MSNBC on Nov. 6, he questioned the overall ingredient count: “Why do we have Froot Loops in this country that have 18 or 19 ingredients and you go to Canada and it has two or three?” Mr. Kennedy asked.

He was wrong on the ingredient count, they are roughly the same. But the Canadian version does have natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots while the U.S. product contains red dye 40, yellow 5 and blue 1 as well as Butylated hydroxytoluene, or BHT, a lab-made chemical that is used “for freshness,” according to the ingredient label.

441 Now, let’s be clear about what the Judgment Fund is supposed to do. It was originally created back in 1956 to efficiently pay out legal judgments against the federal government. There was a time when Congress actually acted like Congress and exercised some control over these funds. There was a cap of $100,000 on settlements that required congressional oversight for anything higher—an excellent system of checks and balances, in the spirit of the founders' intent. But in 1977, Congress decided to hand the Justice Department a blank check, removing the cap entirely and allowing this fund to pay out whatever it pleased, without needing any kind of Congressional approval. And what happens when you give a government agency unchecked authority over taxpayer money? The fund turned into a slush fund, plain and simple.

You see, the Obama administration figured out how to exploit this. Tony West, the brother-in-law of Vice President Kamala Harris, spearheaded a new way to distribute funds from this unmonitored money pot. Emails revealed how his department was actively seeking out ways to funnel cash to favored nonprofits and NGOs, a wish list for loyal Democratic allies.

Homan’s warning came in response to democratic Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s remarks that her city won’t cooperate with the mass deportations.

“Well, she’s not very smart, I’ll give her that,” Homan told Newsmax on Monday.

VDH observations on what Trump's picks have in common (from a full column):

-- One, many, who were in the past victimized by government bullies and cowardly bureaucratic grandees

--Two, none of these appointments are traditional swamp creatures.

--Three, they all share a reputation from the mainstream media, bicoastal elite, or administrative state guardians as a little “out there” or even “crazy” and “nuts”, whether RFK, Tulsi Gabbard, or Pete Hegseth. So, their opponents rightly fear they are immune from mainstream media disparagements, the usually leftwing generated hoaxes, and beltway tsk-tsk scorn.

--Fourth and finally, they are not radicals or nihilists.

522 “I was right; you were wrong,” Uygur said.

“That’s a cheap shot, and I won’t stand for it,” Lichtman said. “I read your own followers’ comments, and they all trashed you. Every one of them and [they] supported me, so quiet with your personal attacks. Make whatever point you want. Don’t make it personal.”

The conversation quickly became heated, with both individuals speaking over one another. “You’re so deluded,” Uygur said. “At this program, I’ve never been able to finish a thought.”

“You got it wrong. You were preposterously and stupidly wrong. So, OK, all right. Can I just finish a goddamn thought ever on this show?” Uygur asked.

“Don’t call me stupid,” Lichtman said. “I admitted I was wrong. I don’t need you to call me stupid.”

“It’s great to see you Democrats all getting along so well,” Piers Morgan chimed in.

Delaware Valley Journal, Embattled Bucks Commissioner: Call to Ignore Election Law ‘Misinterpreted’ Posted to Politics Nov. 19, 2024

In part, "Bucks County Commission Chair Diane Ellis-Marseglia made national headlines when a video of her statements regarding her vote to accept the improper mail ballots went viral.

“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country. People violate laws any time they want. So, for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it. There is nothing more important than counting votes,” Ellis-Marseglia said last Thursday.

On Monday, she backtracked, telling The Philadelphia Inquirer the backlash from rule of law advocates on both sides of the partisan aisle stemmed from a “misinterpretation of [an] inartfully worded statement on my part.”

“I apologize for all the upset and confusion it caused,” Ellis-Marseglia said."

Of course. 🤔 Just distraction.

Anyway, "Casey was the top vote-getter in Bucks County, where he bested McCormick by approximately 1,200 votes, according to unofficials results.

Election officials, who canvassed but will not count the disputed ballots, said the results gave Casey another 326 votes and McCormick another 288.

Loney, the ACLU attorney, also noted that the high court's decision Monday does not close the door on the core constitutional issues surrounding the validity of incorrectly dated mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania.

"It put the issue to rest for this election," he said, "but only this election."

The premier also reiterated an offer to lavishly pay Gazans who turn over Israeli hostages, upping the reward to $5 million for each captive, after previously suggesting Israel would pay “several million” for their recovery."

The Biden administration has approved sending anti-personnel mines to Ukraine for the first time in another major policy shift, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin confirmed on Wednesday.

The decision comes just days after the US gave Ukraine permission to fire long-range US missiles at targets in Russia, a shift that only occurred after months of lobbying from Kyiv.
