Update: Mike Johnson Has "Privately Committed" to Blocking Men From Using Women's Bathrooms and Locker Rooms

I wrote in the last post that his line about "kindness and dignity" seemed to signal he would give in to the lunatic left on this issue.

But Breitbart reports he's privately assuring people he won't.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has privately committed to back an effort led by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) to block biological men from using women's restrooms in the U.S. Capitol.
Mace announced Monday she would introduce a resolution to ban transgender women (biological men) from using biological women's restrooms at the U.S. Capitol.
Johnson, during Tuesday morning's weekly House Republican Conference meeting, said transgender women won't be allowed to use women's restrooms in the Capitol, Politico reported.
"He said there's not going to be any biological men using our restrooms," Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told Politico.
Mace confirmed Greene's account, telling Axios that Johnson "said to me last night that he would include it in House Rules."

While there, he recommended that the family remove Trump campaign materials and signs from their house and yard, stating that his FEMA supervisors view Trump supporters as domestic terrorists.
The elderly homeowners were so frightened by this and afraid that they would not recover their loss that they removed the signs. Nevertheless, FEMA has not returned to their residence. This took place not in Florida, but Georgia.

These congressional ethics and other hearings are like a grand jury. You only get one side of the story and the "accused" is not allowed to be present, mount any defense, question their accusers or call any witnesses. It's a kangaroo court.

Having said that, there are tons of people in congress that are guilty of all sorts of crimes that are being shielded from prosecution because they are on the "team".

Heh. Maybe 15 years ago I considered developing an app (and browser extension) that would, based on a simple database lookup of words and phrases, strike-out Leftist Language and replace it with the correct term(s).

For example: "Pro-Choice" would be replaced with "Baby Murder," "Gun Control" would be replaced with "Victim Disarmament," "Gender" would be replaced with "Sex," etc.

I have a lot of ideas ... but never the confidence to follow-through with them. Maybe if I ever retire ...

It's almost to the point where if a known name is picked, it's a mistake, so few are the known names who have the seriousness, integrity, and mindset to actually do their jobs and serve the country. Of course there are exceptions. But just as with Trump, the correct (or best available/lowest risk) choice may be someone who you might never have picked a few years ago, either no-names or rough-edged characters like Gaetz, MTG, et al.

I don't even see them as the same group, myself. My limited experience with transsexuals was that they wanted to fit in as their new sex as best they could and not make waves.

This new group are storm troopers for destroying women and to take over the spots held in power by feminists, by force if necessary.

I agree: years ago I remember seeing a web-page titled something like "transwoman success stories," and it was just a page of rather ordinary people who had appropriate amounts of the right kinds of surgery, stylistic choices and so on, that they looked like unremarkable women.

Today that idea is attacked by the Gender Theory crowd. Which also explains why they have been able to take over so thoroughly; the transsexuals (of which I would consider myself) are devoted to being ordinary and going unnoticed in most settings. It's hard to imagine a group of people less inclined to subject themselves to the hostility and ridicule that the "TRAs" can dish out.

This also explains (IMO) why so many public "trans" people don't pass: because the TRAs not only don't think "passing" is important, they are actively against it.
