FBI Brass "Stunned" and "Shellshocked" By Trump Win

"I have friends still at the Bureau telling me that no less than 50 Senior Executives (SES) are scrambling to retire ASAP," he said.Speaking of the FBI: They waited until after the election, of course, to indict an Iranian Republican Guard agents for plotting to murder our President-Elect.

But trump has extraordinary power to punish republicans who defy him, so he might have power all the way through his term.

He should have very wide latitude to make a host of changes, a lot more than before.
I'm a broken record on this, but Loper v. Raimondo was the key to destroying the administrative state. The path through it was either decades of lawsuits that slowly chipped away at it or a president using it as an excuse to take out large chunks of regulation and the bureaucracy tied to it.
It'll be hilarious if the left starts to hate former Governor Raimondo for being the vessel through which their centralized power structure gets dismantled.

The first is that everyone has forgotten that Trump shut down the government for a full month because he refused to sign Paul Ryan's bloated budget. He eventually caved, but he's already proven some willingness to fight on this issue.
The second is that by simply focusing on deregulation in his first term, he got the best growth per quarter out of the economy in decades.

There is way too much muddy overlap between "law enforcement" and "intelligence" and between "law enforcement" and "administrative function." The entire system needs to be revamped. I would like to see everything in federal LE and IC shut down completely and replaced with five new agencies:
1. Foreign intelligence. Long rope, no domestic operations at all.
2. Military intelligence. Long rope within its narrow mandate, no domestic operations at all.
3. Domestic intelligence. Short AF rope, no LE activities at all
4. Law enforcement/federal cops. Short AF rope, narrow mandate, no IC activities.
5. Internal Affairs that police the other four with cash bounties for catching wrongdoing. Incentivize them to be ruthless and overreact against their subjects.

I don't understand how this is even an issue. In IT when an employee retires/is fired/dies/etc, their computing privileges are automatically cut: no more login and if the person is an admin, care is taken that he no longer has admin privileges either. Accounts are disabled or even deleted.
Security clearance should follow the same route: when you go out the door your SC terminates.
Hopefully someone in the new admin makes sure people like Brennan, Obama, Clapper, etc. all have their SC and IT privileges terminated without warning.

I could even see a 3-6 month grace period on clearances, where they can reactivated (but not used) if you get a clearance-requiring job within a reasonable amount of time.
But they have demonstrated that the system is corrupt, so if the only way to be sure is to just close down all the nice things they used to have, then fine.
Maybe have less classified material would help, eh? Raise the bar for classification, and you reduce the need for so many clearances.

Now there's an easy reform: Every fed agent, any interaction with any citizen, whether on the street or in an interrogation room, must be recorded, both video and audio.
Any flaws in the recording, any lost time, any shenanigans of any sort, and it's like it never happened. And once a case is over, every minute of those recordings can be FOIA'd by anyone, and any recording that got lost/ misplaced? Whatever case it pertained to will get tossed.

There is something to that, but as you say: fuck 'em.

It works like this, at least for me...the clearance is issued after an extensive check (years not months for TS) It is only valid when held by a sponsor. So, for example me, I go to a new job and resign here, my TS goes into a system(used to be called JPAS but no idea what now) where it is held for a time period during which I have no clearance, and then picked up by my new sponsor where my clearance is re-activated. A brand new TS every job change would kill the contractor market.

But if everything has to be canceled because of too much bad behavior, then so be it. If that cripples an entire industry, the system is broken. I don't know that it has to go that far, but it might.

Certainly they are above 500,000 dead or seriously wounded by now. They have pretty much used up the army at the start the US raised over 8 years AND the first few waves of recruitment once the war started.
They have done many more recruitment drives since for a much smaller number of troops per wave. Their latest "bottom of the barrel" recruitment got only about half of what they hoped for, and lots of them leak away and are being thrown into the front with no training.

He slow walked the GOP vote count precisely to not give Turning Point and GOP voters to correct flaws in mail in balloting or provisional ballots.

The framework for the peace deal was there way back early on. But the West WEF types wanted Putin gone and Zelinsky was evil enough to sacrifice a lot of his own people for an unwinnable war.

The West never stopped buying Russian Oil. The "sanction" rules allow shipments of Russian Oil to be shipped to third parties, marked up and shipped back to the US, EU, and anyone else.
