CNN: Kamala Harris Runs Pro-Palestinian Ad in Michigan While Running Pro-Israel Ad in Jewish Suburbs Around Philadelphia

Such obvious dishonesty that not even CNN can stomach it.

Andrew Kaczinsky also notes that the Harris campaign is running a phone call scam pretending to offer information from the Jill Stein campaign, telling Muslim voters how much Stein supports Israel.

By the way, here's Lt. Bearclaw's twin brother, Lt. Jelly Roll, Yvgeney "Eugene" Vindman.

He's -- get this -- lying about his rank at retirement. He's claiming he was a full colonel; he wasn't, he was a lieutenant colonel. He deceives by saying "I have the right to be called colonel," which I think just means that a Lieutenant Colonel is often just called "colonel" as a short form of the rank.

But then check out his evasiveness about whether "I fought in combat" as he has previously claimed, or not.

His answers: "I was deployed in a combat zone" and "I stand by my record."

He's in a tight race with Derick Anderson, an Army Green Beret. They're fighting for a district in the suburbs of Fredricksburg, VA.

Vindman is supposedly up by 2%.

Let's vote Lt. Jelly Roll into a morning show on MSNBC.

41 I think Vindman was selected for promotion to Colonel. Question is whether he put it on. What he definitely didn't do was serve three years as a Colonel, which would make him eligible for retirement pay as a Colonel. If he put on the rank, he can say he retired when he was a Colonel. But if he didn't do three years as a Colonel before retiring, he techically retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. There's a difference there. Mostly it's about money. And it really doesn't matter that much. If he had any real talent or self confidence he'd explain it very plainly and simply. As it is, he seems sneaky and evasive. In a word, untrustworthy

This is a good example of how Shapiro is not onboard 100% with the massive cheat. The PA Supreme Court rubberstamps what the leftist governor wants it to rubberstamp. We saw this again and again with Tom Wolf and the COVID decisions. The PA Supreme Court, also, disregarded the PA Law and spearheaded the redistricting. If they are making a decision like this, that means the Governor didn't ask them to decide otherwise. He's a bit pissed at losing out to Walz I'd wager.

Leftist filmmaker Michael Moore is confidently predicting that Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris will “absolutely” win Tuesday’s critical election.

During a Sunday appearance on MSNBC, Moore declared that President Donald Trump is “toast” because American voters “do not want this divisiveness” and “a threat of violence.”

According to Moore, Trump and his campaign are not “in touch” with “the majority of Americans.”

Again, it must be great to be able to afford both food AND housing in Biden's America.

92 But then check out his evasiveness about whether "I fought in combat" as he has previously claimed, or not.

His answers: "I was deployed in a combat zone" and "I stand by my record."

Not that long ago, this was common knowledge, that the jagoffs would fly into a "zone," push papers for a few weeks, then get their CAB.

Needless to say, combat troops have nothing but contempt for these guys.

111 The combat thing is worse than the rank. If you're not combat arms...he wasn't, he's a lawyer...you weren't in combat. Not in the sense that combat arms guys who patrol or fly sorties were. A staff officer Serving at sprawling HQ that got mortared a couple times or maybe even who rode in a convoy that took fire or was IED'd isn't a combat veteran in the way grunts and pilots and special forces are. Saying "combat veteran" might technically be correct, but come on. Everybody who's actually been thete knows the difference. And has zero respect for guys who try to benefit from blurring the difference.

Not that we'd get a ruling to this effect but the solution is simple. One bad apple spoils the bunch. If you can be shown to have permitted a bad ballot into the system, then the ballots from your area cannot be added to the total. You can have a special election, later, for your member of the House. 118 Another theory:

CNN isn't "noticing," they are in on the strategy. The Harris strategy (like the biden, obama, and even clinton strategy before her) is that she relies on voters not believing what she says.
She wants Jews to think she is just cowtowing to muzzies for votes but will support Israel like all dems mostly do. She wants muzzies to think she is a radical but has to cowtow to Jews for the election.

This works because both sides think that their position is the only rational one, and that any rational Democrat would support them even if they say otherwise during an election.

CNN is just making sure no one starts to fear that maybe it is not a lie. She *wants* these groups unsure of her position so they can imprint their own onto her.

Right. Micro-targeting can work *extremely* well, but not if the micro-targeted messages are in direct contradiction. It's too easy to catch that now. The same technology that makes micro-targeting possible also makes direct contradictions in those messages easy to spot.

District 7 is one of the underperforming voting districts...

2020 - 287K EV
2024 - 203.6K EV (probably another 10K MAX in mail in ballots will show

That's why they are worried about district 7 right now...84K down in EV, which is proportionately higher than other districts...aka, it gives the R a chance (not a certainty, but a chance, to flip it)...

Obama was a master at speaking in ways that were ambiguous but that both sides of an issue would find support in.

Biden got picked because he agreed to be radical, but his long history reassured the non-radical Dems that he would be "moderate."

Harris can not speak, and has no history. She has to explicitly tell both sides of every issue that she is on their side. This relies on trust that they will believe she is lying. This sounds crazy, but the Dems have the support of media and the strategy of convincing the public you are lying for votes has worked for them for years. It may be the one innovation obama brought to politics.

Because they think that registration means nothing, that DeSantis' 19 point victory 2 years ago means nothing because you CANNOT compare midterms to presidentials EVER, and that Republican to Democrat crossover is going to be like 25%.

It's hard to tell what crossover is because all we really have is exit polls, and exit polls suck. However, I went back to 2008, Obama v. McCain.

Since Kamala is supposed to be Obama 2, seems like a good comparison, right?

Well, in 2008, the R-D crossover was...9% according to the CNN exit poll. The D-R crossover? 9%. They canceled each other out.

And Democrats are CONVINCED that it'll be at least 15% when even Marist was saying that it'll be 2% this year.

187 He's claiming he was a full colonel; he wasn't, he was a lieutenant colonel. He deceives by saying "I have the right to be called colonel," which I think just means that a Lieutenant Colonel is often just called "colonel" as a short form of the rank.

Reminds me of the back and forth between Jason Patric's David Bowie and Patrick Wilson's William Travis in 2004's "The Alamo".

When early in the movie Colonel Bowie was mocking Lt. Colonel Travis, by referring to him as Lt. Colonel, when Travis preferred to be called Colonel. But by the end of the movie when Travis had earned Bowie's respect, Bowie referred to Travis as Colonel.

Posted by: Shenanigans

He issued an emergency stay as he is over the 3rd Circuit as supervising Justice. Elections head in PA ignored it by ordering the ballots mixed. Scotus ended up with egg on their face. Don't think that even Roberts is not vindictive toward little people in state gubmints that ignore the majesty of Scotus.

That in part is why Sup. Ct of Pa ruled as they did. Those ballots can be 'cured' but not counted. By ruling as they did, lower court state court judges have to follow what big brother tells them so you don't get the rogue county issue.

GOP is playing better lawfare this time even with stacked courts having to grudgingly give them some wins this time.

We were never to inflict harm onto my father’s career by behaving badly. Except that one time where the General’s daughter and I accidentally rode across a parade field on our horses together. Absolutely no one stopped us. But when we got home? Oh boy. Calls had been made.

276 These types always overstep with the "I fought for my country" stuff.

LOTS of people get assigned to combat zones and according to the military and VA that makes you a "combat veteran." But the people who were in the military know there is combat and there is combat. I know people who were in a unit that was deployed to a combat zone but their specific place of duty was South Carolina - they became combat veterans because of that. But anyone who was in that unit who would have said "I fought for this country" as a result would have been laughed at.

Not because we demean anyone's service. Well except for sailors. But anyway, anyone who serves in the military could, at any point, get whisked away to a place where their life is in peril. So, good on all of us for that. And then you get deployed somewhere, and that somewhere is a combat zone, it becomes a lot more proximate.

And then there are those guys who were in the shit. That doesn't necessarily mean Tier I Operator (or whatever crap they say) it means like my buddy who was public affairs and got blown up in his Hmmvw in Afghanistan.

He should have stuck with combat veteran. Technically and legally true.

I think it has something to do with a derivation from "corona" or "coronelle," "little crown," so that it was pronounced "cor-oh-nel." Not sure how the spelling change came about.

A lot of our military ranks came from the Italian language somehow.

302 You call LTCs "colonel." In the Army, a battalion commander is a LTC and you call him (or her) colonel for rank. But if you say I retired as Colonel (I grew up with a stutter I can hear the capital letter) then you mean you were an O-6 not an O-5 LTC.

Again, Vindman over stepped. To say I am entitled to be called "colonel" sounds pretty shitty. It would have been easy enough to say "I retired as a LTC and informally in the Army we just say 'colonel.' I wasn't trying to say I had a higher rank than I did."

But no, he chose to sound like a dick.

mid 16th century: from obsolete French coronel (earlier form of colonel), from Italian colonnello ‘column of soldiers’, from colonna ‘column’, from Latin columna. The form coronel, source of the modern pronunciation, was usual until the mid 17th century.

336 colonel (n.)
"chief commander of a regiment of troops," 1540s, coronell, from French coronel (16c.), modified by dissimilation from Italian colonnella "commander of the column of soldiers at the head of a regiment," from compagna colonella "little column company," from Latin columna "pillar," collateral form of columen "top, summit" (from PIE root *kel- (2) "to be prominent; hill").

The French spelling was reformed late 16c. The English spelling was modified in 1580s in learned writing to conform to the Italian form (via translations of Italian military manuals), and pronunciations with "r" and "l" coexisted until c. 1650, but the earlier pronunciation prevailed. Spanish and Portuguese coronel, from Italian, show similar evolution by dissimilation and perhaps by influence of corona. Abbreviation col. is attested by 1707.

It does seem to be a dying practice, and we'll see differences like in Montana where Trump will win by 20 but Tester will only lose by 6 or something.

Commodore is if you are the ad-hoc leader of a fleet of ships, but only ranked as Captain of your vessel. So you don't have a different rank like an admiral would. That's the Royal Navy rule. Rank ends when the mission is over.

I think in the USN Commodore is an official rank, or used to be

Another fun fact about rank is that when Marines are on a ship any Captain of Marines is referred to as Major to avoid being called Captain, there's only one on a ship.
