We May Never Know the Motive: Ballot Boxes Torched in Oregon Left with "Free Gaza" Note

"We swear we will never find a motive," vowed the terrorist-enabling criminal gang called the FBI.

Ballot boxes in Oregon and Washington may have been set on fire by an anti-Israel protester, as investigators found a note that said "ALL DROP BOXES WILL BURN. FREE GAZA," The Post has learned.

Between 3 and 4 a.m. on Monday, fires caused by incendiary devices were discovered in ballot boxes in Vancouver, Wash. and neighboring Portland, Oregon.

A built-in fire suppressant stopped most of the flames at the Portland location, but hundreds of ballots were destroyed at the drop box at Fisher's Landing Transit Center in Vancouver.

The FBI is now heading the investigation into the two Monday fires, which are believed to be linked and also connected to a third attempted arson attack earlier in the month in Vancouver.

LOL.

...

[A]ccording to an election official with knowledge but not authorized to speak on record, a political letter was discovered in a ballot box at the Vancouver Mall Parking lot location just a few hours after the fires were put out.

According to the source, a white piece of paper folded in half had been deposited in the box.

It is not confirmed if the message came from the suspect involved in the arson fires, but the New York Times reports that all three incendiary devices themselves had the message "Free Gaza" written on them.

...

"Um, I'm not gonna have a comment on that at this time," Clark County Auditor Greg Kimsey said when asked about the political letter.

...

The arson attacks come amid a closely-watched congressional race rematch in Washington's 3rd Congressional District between incumbent Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, a Democrat, and Joe Kent, a Republican US Army veteran. The two are polling neck-and-neck in the district.

When the Dems start bleating about the torched ballot boxes, Trump needs to say "that's why we need to move back to a single day of voting, in central locations, with tight security."

Don't make it about GOP votes, make it about electoral integrity for EVERYONE!

if you will be unavailable for that day you may vote in person on ONE saturday, 2 weeks prior to the election. the bar to vote THAT day is exceptionally high - you're going to be out of the country sort of thing and even then, you'll HAVE to have proof of the trip - PURCHASED TICKETS AND HOTELS etc to be eligible.

And ALL vote counting must be reported to the state by 10.30 PM and the Sec of satate for each state WILL announce on the news the totals for the state at 11.10 PM that night.

Failure to meet this requirement will result in a $50,000 fine AND not less than 5 years in prison for each election official in the chain of custody involved, cont...

if you will be unavailable for that day you may vote in person on ONE saturday, 2 weeks prior to the election. the bar to vote THAT day is exceptionally high - you're going to be out of the country sort of thing and even then, you'll HAVE to have proof of the trip - PURCHASED TICKETS AND HOTELS etc to be eligible.

I honestly don’t want to surround myself solely with people who agree with me. I really like intellectual diversity. But the problem with political arguments is a lot of people are fully vested in fallacies that are easily disproven. You want to disagree on factual matters? I’m fine with that. But the minute you throw out the demonstrable truth for political fictions and liberal shibboleths, we’re done.

181 I had another argument on abortion. At the end one of the things we discussed was the fact you basically have to attribute no rights to your unborn child in order to believe some of what liberals sell you. One cannot deny that fetus will grow into a unique, beautiful child if you don’t interrupt the process with an abortion or suffer some devastating condition. It’s pretty amazing when you back some young people off the pathos pleas they bleat like mantras and make them realize that particular fact. Them the discussion turns to- at what point do we as a society or even as parents to be admit that unborn child, among the most vulnerable of all humans, deserve some protection.

205 Them the discussion turns to- at what point do we as a society or even as parents to be admit that unborn child, among the most vulnerable of all humans, deserve some protection.

The whole of the abortion "debate" henges on whether/when the unborn child becomes a person.

All the arguments about choice and bodily autonomy go out the window - how many times do you see a parent arrest for child neglect? Doesn't that impact their "choice?"

And then the other interesting point in all this is abortion proponents almost never want to talk about some magic personhood/ensoulment guideline - partially because they want NO restrictions on abortion but more because their argument then completely fails apart. Its not as if there is some magic change in the unborn child post conception.

With Limited Options, Zelensky Seeks a Path Forward for Ukraine
A muted response to Ukraine’s “victory plan” and steep challenges on the battlefield leave Kyiv searching for a Plan B.

Mr. Zelensky’s lobbying tour of the United States and Europe over the past six weeks could be seen as a failure.

But the real audience for the plan might be at home, some military analysts and diplomats say. Mr. Zelensky can use his hard sell — including a recent address to Parliament — to show Ukrainians that he has done all he can, prepare them for the possibility that Ukraine might have to make a deal and give Ukrainians a convenient scapegoat: the West.

Posted by: Elric The Blade at October 31, 2024 01:10 PM (iFTx/)

No. The PDX fire could be misdirection The box was located downtown Portland near the PDX election bldg. real target is WA Dist 3.

Don't assume that WA is all blue. The majority of Republican state legislators in WA are from SWW in the 17, 18, and 20th districts. The 49th district in SWW is historically dem, worse with Oregon escapees. The fires were not in Dem areas.

The Kent-Perez race is pivotal to who controls the House. The Dems have dumped more than $9mil in this race.

Kent lost by approximately 2000 votes in 2022. The Pub primary was brutal. The Pub 3+ term incumbent Jaime Herrera Buetler voted to impeach Trump. Kevin McCarty spent a ton of money trashing Kent in support of Jaime. A third GOP candidate got over a $1m in "dark" money the last weeks of the primary used to smear Kent. Kent ran out of money the last several week. Supporters of the third GOP candidate did not vote for Kent. Really an own goal.

416 From the Wiki article on Oregon:

Yet another account, endorsed as the "most plausible explanation" in the book Oregon Geographic Names, was advanced by George R. Stewart in a 1944 article in American Speech. According to Stewart, the name came from an engraver's error in a French map published in the early 18th century, on which the Ouisiconsink (Wisconsin) River was spelled "Ouaricon-sint", broken on two lines with the -sint below, so there appeared to be a river flowing to the west named "Ouaricon".

I mean this isn't an uncommon view by women. Your average harlequin romance has a story line that runs like this except instead of a woman's boring old husband its a pirate captain or a vampire or a bondage loving billionaire or something.

I’m convinced that half the time wives stop having sex is because their husbands just aren’t good at it. Research says the average time for intercourse is 5 minutes!!!

Yep.

200-205 is the temp you are looking for from a Med Roast Extraction.

212 + works for a Light Roast. But anything darker and you get some pretty bitter flavors that can be avoided with a lower temp.

Bench press, back raise, db lateral raise, barbell skullcrushers, and db curls.

My bench is progressing, but very very slowly. I was able to put up 230 lbs, but it was a little bit of a grind. I'm getting a good amount of sleep and I am hitting my protein intake goals. I'm proud of my progress, but also a little disappointed.

For the record: I drink gas station coffee, not because of the quality, but because of the health benefits. I figure they never wash those things, so there is a massive build up of bacteria and viruses. As a result, the daily visits have allowed me to build up a tolerance to a plethora of diseases. In addition, when the meteor strikes it will be perfectly safe for me to drink out of water puddles.
