Supreme Court Overturns Hawaiian Judge's Insane Ruling -- Sought by the DOJ -- To Force Virginia to Put Illegal Alien Illegal Voters BACK on the Voting Rolls

The judge who issued this election-rigging lawless ruling was a Biden judge, and yes, picked from the diversity pool of incompetent partisans.

overturnedillegalalienvoter.jpg

Virginia's AG took a bow:

Jason Miyares
@JasonMiyaresVA

BREAKING: I am pleased to announce that the US Supreme Court granted Virginia's emergency stay to keep noncitizens off our voter rolls.

But there was a terrible ruling yesterday: Nevada's Supreme Court has ruled that mail-in ballots lacking a post-mark -- in other words, filled out and put in a mail box after the election -- must be counted if they're received three days after the election.

Nevada is a crucial swing state. If Trump wins it, Kamala is almost eliminated. (Her path then requires her to win all three Great Lake states.)

And the Nevada Supreme Court just ruled that the Democrats can look at the election day vote and see how many fake ballots they have to fill out to overturn the election.

50 Dominion ballot machine programming issue
https://t.co/aRjS5iiT0U
Split-ticket voters using a Dominion ICX Voter Assist Terminal (VAT) on Election Day should be prepared for straight-ticket/split-ticket programming issues when marking their ballot, according to Michigan Secretary of State Benson.
A VAT is a special type of device that people with disabilities may use to assist with marking their ballot, which is then printed from the machine and put through the tabulator—but the machine has issues with properly processing certain types of ballots.
Benson stresses that this is a nationwide issue and is not only affecting Michigan.
“Yeah, this is a nationwide issue with Dominion voter access terminals in, in the counties that use them in the voter access terminals,” says Benson

63 The NV ruling is partisan election-stealing lunacy and clearly wrong. But I'm not sure it's as big a deal as it's being made.

As I read it, the ballot still has to arrive by mail. It's just that if "the date of the postmark cannot be determined," ballots received three days after Election Day "shall been deemed to have been postmarked on or before the day of the election."

I get the risk here. But it seems obvious to me that the Dums are going to dump truckloads of fake ballots in the mail on or before election day, thus getting the postmark anyway. The real evil is the fact that a fucking law exists in the first place that allows any late-arriving ballots at all to be counted.

Posted by: Doctor Elric the Blade at October 30, 2024 01:36 PM (iFTx/)

64 A recent Fifth Circuit decision could make this awkward for Nevada should Trump’s allies sue:

Washington Examiner:
A U.S. federal appeals court ruled against Mississippi’s mail ballot law that allows election officials to count ballots that are postmarked by Election Day but arrive afterward, setting the stage for a possible Supreme Court review.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, which has jurisdiction over Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, sent the issue back to a lower court for further review. The decision would only impact Mississippi should a federal district court judge agree to bar the state from counting late-arriving mail-in ballot..

The judges stated that “Election Day,” as designated by Congress, is the last day ballots should be cast and received by state officials. “Text, precedent, and historical practice confirm this ‘day for the election’ is the day by which ballots must be both cast by voters and received by state officials,” the court wrote, adding that Mississippi’s policy *allowing ballots to arrive up to five days later is in conflict with federal law.*

79 The VA ruling was insane, and SCotUS did the right thing (amazing considering what they did in 2020) but the Nevada ruling is even beyond that, as it's clearly just a ruling in favor of massive election fraud.

The post office is given billions and billions and is a Dem union operation, there's no excuse each ballot shouldn't be properly marked, even if they are separated from normal mail and delivered differently. Though I think it was PA where whistleblowers said postal workers were back dating ballots anyway, to get around the sent by requirement.

With SCotUS stopping the fraud in VA, they should be on boats stopping it in NV, and the only reason they wouldn't is because they assume the VA filing won't actually change the results, as it'll go to Harris anyway, while putting a stay on this ridiculous NV ruling would make sure Trump wins, which they don't want.

86 I am deeply concerned about the brazenness of the Dems in PA closing voter lines down and having "Voter Protection" teams that are actually intimidating voters.

"We" are catching them at it and capturing on video and they don't care. We publicize what they do but that doesn't get a voter in the door to vote. And it surely doesn't result in any consequences that would stop them from doing it now or in the future.

100 SCOTUS is going to cheat for Trump. They cannot be trusted. I just hope our side has a plan to counteract their unconstitutional rulings.

The only way to "counteract" those rulings is to win this election. Then we can start implementing SCOTUS ethics reforms that have bills already drafted, among other things.

WTF. What happened to States control elections. We are 6 days away from the general election, and the thugs on the SC want to get involved.

You know who is garbage? The deplorable MEN on the SC. They have demonstrated their racism, by whittling down the voting and civil rights act, and the sexism by the Dobb's decision. They have demonstrated their lawlessness by their immunity ruling for criminal activities of a president.

THIS IS WHY WE MUST WIN THIS ELECTION.

what's to stop them from doing 50K more tomorrow? Apparently the law isn't enough.

Expected. Trump and Republicans are going to use the courts and propaganda to steal elections. Truly 3rd world stuff.

Take a little solace in knowing that VA has same-day registration. Remain worried SCOTUS (with zero explanation) just gave states the right to violate Federal law.

That would seem to imply that they would rule that early voting is not permitted if they were to be asked.

161 What makes the NV Supreme Court ruling so egregious is that the 5th Circuit already ruled that ballots have to be received on Election Day.

The NV Court ignored that ruling. If the Supreme Court upholds the 5th circuit, maybe NV Republicans can file for a rehearing based on the Supreme Court stating ballots have to be received on Election Day.

At least that is what I would do if I was the RNC.

170 Is the GOP going to do anything in Nevada? File a suit in the supreme court? Is that possible?

I think they can. The Fifth Circuit court of appeals just ruled that the constitution specifies election day as the deadline. That doesn't bind Nevada (which is part of a different circuit), but it seems like federal courts can overrule state courts as regards federal elections.
Posted by: ace at October 30, 2024 01:44 PM (KRtlO)
_________

Federal courts can indeed overturn or overrule state courts on issues of federal law, which includes federal constitutional law. They can't overturn state courts on issues of state law (except when such conflicts with federal law). The date by which ballots can be counted seems like a federal constitutional issue. So I think the GOP does have recourse to the federal courts on this insane NV ruling. I suggest they get the fuck on it pronto.

They want to codify the receipt of ballots with no postmark after Election Day. That is, they want to write it into law so they don’t have to stand before a judge and explain why 3,000 people all forgot, whoops, so send in and postmark their ballots. Bullshit. That’s codifying fraud.

199 While the Nevada ruling is stupid and blatantly unconstitutional, it is still not easy for Democrats to exploit it.

They can't just photocopy a bunch of ballots and send them in.

The ballots have to come from a registered voter who hasn't already voted. And must come in an official envelope.

If Democrats are ballot harvesting (which they are) there is no advantage to waiting until after the election and risking a ruling that calls the ballot invalid.

Easier and safer to send it in now. It's still an illegal vote, but it is certain to count.

The first elections were not too bad as the commies had not figured out the scheme of fake registrations and the then R SOS set rules that the signature on the ballot envelope had to match your DL signature quite closely (we have that stupid motor voter registration scheme) or other official state ID signature if you don't drive. They didn't shred non matches but they were provisional and the voter had to go in and say, 'yes that is my ballot' to get them counted.

But then the Ds got the wine moms to swoon over the female Soros stooge SOS candidate in 2018. The state GOP was completely caught off guard by a full bore TV ad campaign for SOS and the stooge won handily. She loosened the signature match to where anyone can sign for a registered voter.

Dims engage in what I experienced as "grade grubbing" when I served as a Teaching Assistant at Berkeley back in the mid-70s. Granting partial credit was the root cause.

If a student could bring forward his or her quiz paper or test and for a particular problem, demonstrate that they understood the principle of the question (e.g., wrote out the formula of the Ideal Gas Law), or they had "partially balanced" an equation (e.g., documented which entities' oxidation states had changed by how much), or had carried a computation to an intermediate point correctly. we TAs were required to grant the testee partial credit. More than anything else, this practice surfaced which students were Pre-Med, because they were notorious for seeking to bump up their grades as much as possible.

This nation's courts keep granting Dim beggars "partial credit". It is up to the legislatures to retake the reins on their election processes, lay out absolutely clear and firm rules, and take this nonsense out of the courts.

I voted both times for her in the General, but we're giving away a Senate seat to a Gonzo Democrat. Ruben Gallego is about as far left as you can possibly be. He's also just an angry asshole.

There is no path without winning either Pa or Nv or Az.

Trump needs to keep all of the states he won in 2020 and pick up at least three states and possibly four depending on which startes.

2. A sufficiently large group of people, likely outsiders, decides to uphold the rules in a... forceful manner. Regrettably, this almost certainly leads to option 1.

It’s a federal question so an appeal to the federal court in NV can likely occur.

That exerted a siren call to every shithead in the Northeast and upper Midwest to come to SF, and ultimately elsewhere in California, for the leftist paradise (and to avoid the crappy weather where they currently lived).

Recall that Jerry Brown (successor to Reagan as governor) was IIRC only the third Democrat governor in California history, and set a new pattern. His father, Pat Brown, also a Democrat, actually was a very good governor. Jerry, not so much.

________

I get the sentiment and idea, but if the much-improved early-vote results for the GOP is just a matter of GOP voters voting early who would have voted on election day, it doesn't move the needle. We need more total votes. Not just more early votes. For example, if 100 of these early GOP votes are voters who in 2020 voted on election day, that's 100 less votes on election day.

But otherwise, I agree with you that I like our positioning now much better than 2020. I just don't know if it means what many people think it means.

Most of this year's arguments about cannibalization are going to be bullshit nonsense.

Enthusiasm registers across voting methods. Democrats are showing a distinct lack of enthusiasm despite a long history of embracing early voting more fully than Republicans, and no, the answer isn't that Republicans are voting early more.

R early voting is largely in line with 2020 numbers. The difference is a massive, massive dropoff for D's.

It's not.

Republicans should be voting on election day at extremely similar numbers as in 2020, if not better if the low propensity voter trends are right (D's are pulling more high prop voters than R's who are pulling more low prop voters than D's in early voting).

D's are using up their most loyal voters more than R's. That will affect D's on election day more than it'll affect R's.

Oh, heavens to betsy, a “bigoted swipe.” And at Muslims, no less — one of the left’s cherished victim groups. What did the dastardly Lutnick say? Did he call for mass deportations? Internment camps? A new “Muslim ban,” a fictional bogey that the left used to great effect to bedevil Trump’s first term?

None of the above. Lutnick, Rashid writes indignantly, is part of Trump’s transition team, and he “told the crowd why they should vote for the former president and, raising a fist, invoked Islamophobia. ‘So, the first thing: We must elect Donald J. Trump president because we must crush jihad,’ Lutnick shouted to cheers.”

Most Telublicans will vote for the R. Even if that R is “extreme”. What RCV does is give the squish Republicans the option to say I’ll vote for the R I don’t like but my second choice is the Dem. And if the R doesn’t win a majority of votes, the Dem wins because the Dem gets all the 2nd choice votes of Republicans plus the second choice votes of 3rd parties.

Takes the 49-47 R wins and turns them in 52-48 D wins.
