We're seeing them right now. Voting machines have been breaking and other election issues have been happening in locations in various early. voting areas. If you try to vote early and have an issue you have more opportunities to go back and vote. If it happens on Election Day you do not.

This is the way it works. The voter rolls are public information. Who actually voted is available on voting day.
The democrats identify a set of their idiot non-voters who were registered but didn't vote, and simply fill out a ballot for them and "mail it in". Its incredibly easy to do - especially with AI tools now.
We seem to be playing the same game they played in 2020. We're not forward thinking about how to stop the steal. The fact of the matter is that the voter information rolls need to only be made public weeks after the election has been decided.

2. Making a false CRIMINAL report is a crime, rarely punished but a crime nonetheless. Decades old accusations of inappropriate sexual conduct are not criminal complaint. At worst, the target could sue for defamation but it's unlikely they'd win.
3. Saying that candidateX touched my no-no square 30 years ago is not a federal issue so the DOJ would just have to fuck right off.

They look at the returns by geography based on those areas past as well as the the voting history of the ballots that have voted to get a rough idea of how it is going. It is obviously not as accurate but allows to see trends in regions election over election. GA is similar in that they dont do party but report based on race.

There are pros and cons to voting early - and how they tell is based on how you voted in the past. There is a high probably you will vote the same in the future.
It helps eliminate the risk of shenanigans the day of, like running out of paper, machines not working, etc. Also, it gets your vote in should voting day something happen- your car dies and you can’t get there, lines 4 hours long so you give up.
Ideally we go paper ballets day of for everyone, but I am not sure that will ever happen.

I guess. I'm in NY, so I don't worry about it so much (not a "swing state", although I kind of wonder about that this time). As a 4/4 voter, I don't think I have much chance of having my vote stolen - I think they steal the ones who are 1/4 & 2/4.
I'm not sure I get the part about "too big a lead to steal". They can manufacture as many fake ballots as they like. They talk like Biden only won PA by 10k votes (or whatever it was) as though if 11k more Republicans voted it would have been different. But if that had happened, they just would have manufactured another 11k ballots.
Nonetheless, I trust in what Trump and his team are saying, and will probably do a early vote for the first time ever.

Not always true. The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals just overruled mail in ballots that are received after Election Day. That was very convenient, especially for cheating, but it isn't legal any longer.
A majority of people are obviously getting tired of election cheating. It's one of the things that is fueling the massive early voting we are seeing this cycle. If the only real solution is to go back to same day voting with paper ballots, and it is, we might get there if enough people demand it.

It's certainly A problem. I am of the opinion that voter registration should close 6 months prior to the general election (with a provision that you may register early if you will be old enough by election day) followed by an immediate posting of suspect registrations for 30 days and, unless the voter is verified, removal from the rolls at that point.

No, but that's exactly how cases get to the Supreme Court. If another district challenges the SC can agree to hear it.
According to Jonathan Turley there have been 165 lawsuits filed so far this cycle and at least one filed by VA to the Supreme Court over removing non-citizens from the rolls.

IIRC, when Hochul won (on disgraced Cuomo's coattails!) it was only 53%/47%. So only 3% of the vote would have needed to be switched to steal that election. We use Dominion voting machines.
So I'm not even sure if our Dem governor won legitimately.

This happened in WI a few years back for Supreme Court Election. Election returns come in and of course Milwaukee is always last to report. The Milwaukee totals put liberal in the lead then a late report from Waukesha (very conservative) that the clerk reported the wrong totals and the new totals put the conservative judge over the top.
Liberals were furious. Deliberate or not, for once we beat them at their own game.

See... this sort of dovetails into my question/analysis of why these nominal Republicans have suddenly decided to support the Democrat. And a horrible candidate at that.
What do they fear from Trump? What specifically can or will he do to them that would make them support Harris instead of cozying up to Trump?
It's an odd political switch. But the situation nationally is precarious. Their taking sides indicates something. They, along with the Cheney's could simply have said nothing, but chose not to. I'll rack it up to simple bitterness, but I'm not so sure about that...

Okay. I can get behind that. This was the reason I was hoping to read as to why he was driving a Chinese car.
Also, I hope when he's done with his real world driving experience, he hands it over to FMC's engineers to pull apart and find out what the vehicle manufacturer did well, or poorly. If you're going to buy a competitor's vehicle to learn from, learn all that you can.
