To Pander to Young Men, AOC and Puffy Old Queen Tim Walz Spend Sunday Playing Video Games

This is stupid, obvious, inauthentic, borderline-insulting pandering. We're all supposed to think, "Boy, this idiot and this sissy are playing video games, so I, as a typical young man, can related to them."

I'm never pandered to by the Democrat-Marxist Party and now that they are pandering to me: I think I'm offended. I'm glad they don't do it more often.

Do minorities likewise cringe when the Democrat-Marxist Party panders to them?

Do they likewise cringe when 70 year old white women claim to carry hot sauce in their pocketbooks, or 60 year old Indian women claim they grow their own chili peppers?

Bonus: Walz says he'll make AOC Speaker of the House. Current woke extremist Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries might be a little bothered by that.

In addition to the entire world!

Speaking of cringetastic pandering: Kamala debuted a new ethnic accent over the weekend, this one Rural Black Preacher.

By the way: Kamala Harris is now saying she'll protect the First Amendment, which Trump would take away.

And if that's not preeeeeposterous enough, she also says she'll defend gun owners from having their guns grabbed by Trump!

Wow, she has certainly appealed to my concerns as a Male Voter. I will definitely vote for her now.

Posted by: TheJamesMadison
======
Media polls are designed for media talking points and are rarely the most accurate poll. Those that are not media polls can be a bit more accurate but it depends on who is paying for those polls and big accurate polls are very very expensive.

So I really have spent very little time if any actually read polling data this cycle because we are now where actual datapoints like early voting, turnout (or lack thereof) in specific bellwether counties, returned mail in ballots, and so on are more accurate predictors.

Kamala is not running a positive campaign for the last month so she wants a depressed base turnout election. That is why you see all of the negative ads on Trump and GOP. She cannot run on accomplishments, cannot run on Biden's record, so the only thing left to smears, innuendo, and outright demagoguery. Her negative ads are intended to spread Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) to depress GOP and Independents.

Trump is running the big turnout model and the question is whether he can turn them out. Signs are encouraging that he is doing that.

This is actually worse, because her side bought the surge - I think Rasmussen for instance while seeing some small ebbs and flows has been on Trump +2 for 3 or 4 months. Her base bought it. And now it is crumbling even for their eyes to see. This will really kill turnout, which is probably what all these absent early voting democrats reflects. (And the level of 2020 cheating) It brings more races into play, making the election even worse for the left.

She's been running ads pretty much constantly here in VA since she got the nomination.

What's been telling is that the D's running for office have been going out of their way to not tie themselves to Biden/Harris which they did with Obama.

Surprisingly, Harris has been running ads heavily in Roanoke-Lynchburg which is the part of the state that votes heavy R, but there are 3 Dem areas, Roanoke City, Lynchburg City, and Montgomery County.

Bad news for her, the Mrs and I voted early on Friday afternoon, and we were the 3000th early votes in a location that had 19,000 early votes in 2020 (Roanoke City is heavy D)

Remember, 2020, the party, the upper middle class white women, pushed Kamala, Buttigieg, Beto, and Warren while the rest of the party ignored them and supported Bernie and Biden.

The Upper middle class white women of the party have taken full control and told the actual voters of the party to fuck off. I think the actual voters of the party have taken their advice and decided to not vote.

The main trend of early voting right now is massive Democrat underperformance compared to 2020 and 2022. It varies by state/region, but it's pretty consistent in places that track party (NC, AZ, NV, PA), to places that track by race (GA), to places that track nothing so supposition has to be made based on county-level voting habits (WI).

Deep blue areas are down heavily. Deep red areas are much higher proportionally (whether up or down in relative terms totally to 2020 depends on where, but mostly it's kind of flat and a bit down).

There are signs that places like inner city Milwaukee are just not turning out at all.

Sure, all the R's voting could be voting for Kamala, but that seems...doubtful when her own side isn't even turning out.

Leftism and a bad economy is killing off marriage and it is the unmarried females that are out of step with the rest of the country politically. Young unmarried males are moving to the right and by and large abandoning the college debt trap but young females are flocking to those places to train for jobs that do not or will not exist in the future.

Not good.

GA does not have party registration so people use what primary you voted in (you can request a Dem or GOP ballot or just a judicial one as those races are non partisan nowadays) as a proxy in the Voter History files.

As far as party defections, it is more rare for the base GOP voters to defect than Democrats historically speaking but the Dem coalition has been shrinking recently which makes the party unified.

It's become an accepted idea on the leftist election Twitter space that there are going to be massive party defections from the GOP to Kamala.

Actual party defections seem hard to track since you have to rely on exit polling, and exit polling sucks, but I looked back at 2008.

According to Wikipedia, 9% of the GOP voted for Obama. Oh, and 9% of the Democrat Party voted for McCain.

If 2024 is Obama levels of support, then the crossovers will be a complete wash.

FWIW, the only constitutional exception to being imprisoned without a jury trial is via civil contempt of court for violating a court order. The argument is that the key to the jail is in the defendant's pocket and all they have to do to get released is follow the judge's order.

The thing with Dems is that everything they do requires cash disbursements. I'm sure that they have a large line item on their books for "flowers" and shit like that.

So, Harris pulling money from a lost cause (NC) to try to hold onto VA makes sense. The northern VA media market is one of the most expensive in the country because it is DC, and right now it is loaded with political ads for VA, MD, DE, & WV

Nope, because that demotes their social standing with peers. Males and females have differing mating strategies.

Males as a group, do not by and large care about the social status, profession, wealth, etc. of their desired woman. For many, it is about attractiveness, being nice to them, and caring for the male.

Women as a group, on the other hand, care about those things deeply along with the other attributes of being nice to them, attractiveness, etc.

So associative mating strategies have led the West over a demographic cliff because people have been persuaded that men and women are the same and want the same things.

In dating sites women these days pick about 5 percent of the men to even start talking to, much less date. Men select a much wider fraction.

Another bit of modern twaddle is the new category of 'situationships'...not married, or committed, or even pretend committed or hoping to worm a proposal out of a guy. Its just hanging on to a dude who has no intention of having a relationship with you and pretending it means something at all.
