The grizzly wanted the cub for the day's supper and the sow did her best defending the cub until she realized she was outmatched. She bolted from the den, alone. We went out to run errands this afternoon. Her Majesty said she was hungry. We stopped at a Mediterranean buffet we hadn't been to in a long time and I overindulged: chickpea salad, tabouli, gyros lamb, rice with lentils, pita bread, then baklava and rice pudding for dessert. In WWII, the Polish Army Corps fighting with the British in the Mediterranean Theater had Wojtek the Bear. He was purchased while a cub; he became pretty tame and would carry heavy artillery shells. Wojtek ended his days in a Scottish zoo.

I listened to a bit of the Rogan interview. What was very significant was that Joe Rogan began the interview talking about Trump's appearance on The View when he first started his campaign and Rogan told his viewers, "Yea all those women loved you and called you their very good friend. You got the nomination and the word went out to call you evil."

We in the Horde already know this, but I imagine it was quite the revelation to those that don't pay any attention to politics. For Joe Rogan to acknowledge this is pretty big deal. He went from "I don't like Trump" to giving Trump a fair hearing.

Rudy too. I'd love to see the people who stood by Trump--also that other guy who went to jail for him and wouldn't lie to save his skin--to get some good positions once Trump gets in. He knows who his friends are now.

Bannon was in, though, and then out, got fired in 2017?. But he was a fierce defender of Trump on his podcast during the discussions about the steal in 2020. I didn't sense hard feelings.

My wife and I drove through my sister's neighborhood Saturday evening. More Harris/Walz's signs there than any of us had ever seen in one place. 5 straight lawns, for example.

I use YouTube TV. My home area is the El Paso market but I often end up with Phoenix stations because my ISP reports that location. This ad has been playing in both markets for at least a week with regularity.
