And the mushy-brained left has conveniently forgotten the sordid history of its god...socialism, and one of its most evil acolytes...Stalin!

In the Stalin years, spouses, children, siblings, parents, and even ex-wives of accused enemies were often rounded up as relatives of so-called kulaks, enemies of the people or traitors to the motherland. Stalinist terror against political enemies reveals a remarkable obsession with kinship. Official instructions referred to kinship using various descriptors, but mostly through such code words as "financial dependents" and "co-inhabitants," which typically signaled wives, elderly parents, and children.

This is classic Stalinist dogma. Hold the children accountable for the crimes of the parents, and since being a Trump supporter is a crime in the eyes of the left, this young lunatic is simply following orders!

Ignoring the conspicuous lack of what I consider a cultural imperative...somebody knocking that young fascist on her ass, is it a surprise that a toddler is fair game?

The progressive movement in America has spent generations demonizing anyone with the temerity to disagree with their worldviews and their ultimate goal of a socialist paradise on earth. They have worked assiduously on multiple fronts to subvert the traditional culture and replace it with one obsessed by class, race, gender ethnicity, sexual proclivity, etc. And by placing everyone in a convenient category, they destroy that which makes us human...our uniqueness. That fool saw nothing untoward with placing an innocent child in one of those demonized categories...Kulak...Nazi...Trump supporter...anti-Soviet agitator.

Academia has fallen to them. Literature fell long ago...Upton Sinclair, Hemingway, Steinbeck, London...much of the backbone of American literature taught in our schools has socialist undertones.

And the last bastions of traditional society, simple courtesy and protecting children from the excesses of adults has gone by the wayside. In the America of yore, that buxom braindead bimbo would have been dragged away by the crowd and tossed into the bushes. Now? a few chastising words from her compatriots is the best we can get.

But that is by plan. Socialism never sleeps...never forgets...and never stops undermining the freedoms and personal responsibility that protect a free society.

When they even attack children, is there anything out of bounds?

She claims she only sat on the story this long because she felt she had a journalistic duty to not expose sources but now realizes Tapper and the rest deserve no cover. I would debate her reasoning for not telling this story earlier but holy shit, what a bomb.

Tapper and the rest of CNN worked with intel community to paint not just Trump and his administration as Russian collaborators but any of his supporters as well. Tapper she be not just banished from his lofty media perch but society as well. This is amazing.

Not all of Michigan, just Detroit.

Everywhere else is showing massive Democrat misses compared to both 2020 and 2022 (a freaking midterm). The clock hasn't run out, and there's room for Democrats to appear on election day. But...they have to actually appear.

If they're enthused, they've had weeks to show up or vote by mail. A collective decision to hold back until election day when they've shown a pattern of massively preferring early voting is an odd assumption, though.

Social media is the focus and targeting mechanism. Smartphones get the orders out. It's decentralized now.

It's something of a myth the Nazis were "effective and cunning". Largely it was someone setting the mood, and the followers were conditioned to "work towards the Fuhrer", i.e. fill in the blanks and act upon the expectations by any means available to them. They frequently tripped over themselves in the process, which is well documented.

Now the focal point doesn't even have to be a single source or figurehead. Just a post dropped in feeds overnight to define the day's enemy. Then the cancelling, SWATting, and outright violence follow. I doubt there's a single person or even a small council directing anything at this stage.

Democrats have not been voting like politics was a necessary evil in life. They've been voting like politics IS their lives.

The state is their church.

Taxes are their tithes.
Trans mutilation is their baptism.
The media are their evangelists.
The "party leader" is their messiah.
The "GOP leader" is their devil.

This is life or death for them. They will never "relax" or "come together" any more than a God-fearing person will "come together" with a demon.

We don't have to view politics that way. I hope we never do. But we better start voting with the same intensity of those who do.

I think this is the election were we finally do.

Perhaps, I need to spend some time appreciating their catalog. If I have to devote time and effort to it, what does that say about the music (which is subjective, sure).

Anecdotal, but my kids graduated four years ago from a well-regarded suburban HS. They;'re in college. They were never assigned a book by ANY of those 4 writers. The only one they've ever even heard of would be Hemingway (I suspect). "He was a writer." That's all.

Searching my memory further, I think one of them DID read "The Old Man and the Sea."
