Good Morning Kids. And I want to wish all of you, Jew and Gentile alike L'shona tovah for a sweet new year ahead. As we look at what's happening in Israel, we are once again reminded of the cost of freedom. As of this morning's report, there are at least 8 Israeli soldiers who are reported KIA in the latest battle with Hezbollah, along with however many who gave their lives in eradicating Hamas in Gaza, along with unarmed civilians shot, beaten, raped and abused to death, including babies roasted alive in front of their parents. On top of the past 75 years of wars and terrorist attacks since the modern nation state of Eretz Israel was RE-established in 1948 on the land where it had always been for thousands of years prior. It is after all the new year of 5785.

The American experiment, lest we forget, was given life by men who patterned it on Judeo-Christian tradition and history. Also, as our national cemeteries, and your own family histories can attest, paid many times over in blood and treasure to preserve. And as you scan the links, and in bitter truth, experience economic and even social hardships as a result of the gradual and now rapid abandonment and dissolution of the American experiment by a political movement and its party that is every bit as evil and implacable as Islam is in its multi-generational zeal to eradicate Judaism and Christianity around the globe, in its quest for absolute permanent power.

Given not just the two assassination attempts on Donald Trump, but those of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, JFK and Reagan. By any means necessary is not just blather coming from Al Sharpton's bullhorn. They mean business.

Trump said "pussy" and was falsely accused of rape while committing the heinous crime against humanity of throwing a monkey wrench into the Left Globalists' plan of Fundamental transformation of America into a shithole socialist state. And for that he and all of us who stand in the way of that need to be put in our place. Ultimately, as history sadly teaches us, if we do nothing and continue on the path we are headed, will be a mass grave or the lake of ashes at Birkenau.

MSNBC host Joy Reid said Tuesday night during her network’s vice-presidential debate analysis that the Democratic Party base wants a “fist fight” debate with former President Donald Trump getting a “knuckle sandwich.”

Ah yes, that keen, highly cultured insight that elevates the discourse. They keep talking about how Kamala is bringing "JOY" to the election, or something. Maybe this is the Joy they mean? Or is it Behar. It sure isn't dishwashing liquid. Speaking of knuckle sandwiches, maybe we can get Doug Emhoff to the MSNSDAP set for a demo. As I await the man in the van from the ministry of truth and reconciliation.

Now that the Great Walz of China has flamed out, and Trump seems to be on the rise across most key demographics and in swing states, even so-called Democrat blue wall states and every state in the union, is this moldy oldie all that's left for the Left. Heck, the USSS is understaffed and underfunded (pfft), surely they can dig up another patsy with a gun from Central casting, nein?

In all fairness, the USSS is too busy protecting the Iranian president. Even while Iran is probably trying its hand at whacking Trump.

Special Counsel Jack Smith regurgitated Democrats’ phony “fake electors” smear in his latest brief filed against Donald Trump in federal court on Wednesday. Smith previously indicted Trump for questioning the administration of the 2020 election.
Writing in his 165-page screed about Trump’s legal efforts challenging the results of the 2020 contest, Smith claimed that Trump engaged in criminal activity by, among other alleged actions, “manufacturing fraudulent electoral votes in the targeted states.” This “plan,” the Merrick Garland appointee contended, was designed to “cause” Trump electors in these states to “sign and send to [Vice President Mike Pence], as President of the Senate, certifications in which they falsely represented themselves as legitimate electors who had cast electoral votes for [Trump].”
. . . It’s worth mentioning that Democrats had no problem advocating for electors to vote differently during the 2016 election following Trump’s victory against Hillary Clinton. As my colleague Jordan Boyd previously highlighted, corporate media ran “[a]rticles demanding state electors ‘prevent an irresponsible demagogue from taking office’ and overrule Americans to install Hillary Clinton as president” as part of their efforts to keep Trump from taking office.
Smith’s brief comes months after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that presidents possess “absolute immunity” for “actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority” and “at least presumptive immunity” for “official acts.” The high court separately noted, however, that “[t]here is no immunity for unofficial acts,” and remanded the Biden-Harris Justice Department’s get-Trump lawfare back to the lower courts to determine whether certain actions alleged by Smith constitute “official acts.”

The entire case, along with the 1/6/21 as a Trump-led insurrection against the government reeks to high heaven. But to do this literally weeks before the election and just one day after the VP debate which could prove to have been a pretty big-ass nail in their chances to legitimately win said election, given the world going up in flames all around us, and Kamala and Biden holding a can of gasoline and matches for everyone to see, seems to me as if they know they've got nothing left.

Why can't class act lawsuit be leveled at the union? They told us that their strike is designed to hurt people and the economy. Their demands are over the top indicating that they really don't want a solution. They also say that they have no contract.

Since they have no contract and without the contract they refuse to work, then I would interpret that as quitting. There is no law that says that a person can't just quit. There are laws that prevent one group of people to threaten or actually engage in violence against another group of people: those who are willing to do the work the union won't do.

If the union terrorists would just go home and take pride in their treachery against their neighbor instead of threatening harm to "scabs" then this would be an easily solvable problem

Since it is the union itself that is taking responsibility, the union should be the target of a multi-billion class action lawsuit.

Where is the problem in this logic? (because otherwise a whole line of lawyers would be filing papers)

A good bit of this is technological bloat. Instead of textbooks which you can use for years in elementary school, everyone has workbooks, which are consumable and have to be replaced each year.
Computers, copiers, classroom TVs, school security, fancy gyms, bi-lingual teachers- it all adds up. And that's just lower grades

* Contrary to the custom of the time, the Constitution made no references to the Almighty, whatsoever - the only exception being in the designation of the calendar year. It stipulated "no religious test" for holding public office.
* The Bill of Rights and the Ten Commandments are literally inconsistent. The former requires no preferential treatment of the government regarding religion; the latter requires your strict and exclusive adherence to the Jewish God.

One wonders if the people who say this stuff know a damn thing about either the Constitution OR the Ten Commandments.

If you're talking to me, the idea that Jefferson was a Deist doesn't have anything to do with whether or not he owner a Bible. It's simply a historic fact. The religious inclinations of some of the Founders are somewhat unclear (such as Franklin and Washington), but there's no ambiguity about Jefferson.

At the time he was elected President, many Christians were literally in mourning, due to their President not being a Christian.

There was another early President (JQA, I think) who was not Deist, but his denomination was not considered Christian either, by many. "Unitarian", I think.

Actually, during the John Adams administration there was a treaty made with a Muslim country, wherein the Senate unanimously declared that America "is not a Christian country", or something like that. That wasn't in denial of our predominantly Christian population - it was a statement that the government that was making the treaty with them did not in any way represent Christianity (which it didn't). Presumably, that was helpful in the negotiation. No Senators apparently had any problem with that.

Correction: I meant to write "Koran". Jefferson DID famously own a Bible - he cut out various portions that he didn't like, essentially making his own version of the Bible. There was certain philosophy within it that he approved of, but other things he didn't like.

Well, Jefferson wrote the original draft, which was edited somewhat (mostly by Franklin, I think), so perhaps someone else in the committee threw in that stuff at the end in there. The Constitution has "in the year of our Lord" thrown in at the end too.

But "the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them" are certainly not the words of a Christian. Certainly the Bible doesn't have anything about how people should have an "equal station". If anything, the God of the Bible subjected people to slavery on occasion. Slavery is all over the Bible, and if there's anything in there that says it's a bad thing, I haven't heard it, and it was ignored for over a millennium.

Kant didn't give us a belief in reason, quite the opposite. ("Critique" means "criticism", not "defense".) The concept and model was fit for purpose, in its context. It was aberrant. The world isn't *that* orderly when it comes to human affairs.

The Boomers were *real.* The world took a 5-10 year break from babymaking, turned on its gimbals and then restarted with gusto under entirely new assumptions and cultures. It was unprecedented in history. It had very real consequences, and a hard "generational" line was one of them. The model came out of the need to deal with the reality of what had happened.

It was just aberrant. It is abnormal. The lines aren't usually so clear, and things are getting back to their normal hodge-podge where old-fashioned "age cohorts" make much more sense than new-fangled "generational distinctions" do.

421 The media are all in a tizzy about Smith's filing, but so far all they've revealed are hearsay stories, stories of aides overhearing someone saying something. Is that truly what his filing is based upon? I have no desire to wade through 168 pages to find out, but if that truly is all they have, then this case ought to be dismissed quickly -- once the get it past their pet hack-in-black and it can be looked at in a real court.

Okay, sure. Iran has a population of 91.8M. Israel has 9.4M, just over 10% of Iran's. So proportionality would say that Israel should fund (to the tune of $100s of Billions) organizations bent on destroying the Muslim state of Iran with terrorist acts. I mean Oct. 7 killed 1,200 to 1,400 Israelis; that would be like 12,000 Iranian Muzzies. Israel should also launch a barrage of ballistic missiles that indiscriminately target the muzzie population of Iran; that would be proportional.
They don't want a "proportional" response, they want Israel to grab its knees and bend over wide.
