"Israel’s Mossad intercepted Hezbollah’s communication devices which exploded on Tuesday before they were handed over to the terrorist group, Sky News Arabia reported. According to sources cited in the report, the devices exploded after "Mossad placed PETN explosives on the batteries, which were detonated by increasing the temperature." PETN (Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate) is a highly potent, plastic explosive commonly used in military and demolition applications due to its stability and powerful blast. Al Jazeera also cited Lebanese sources claiming the devices had been "pre-rigged with explosives."

That was intriguing to me, how did the Mossad rig these pagers to explode. So, it looks like they didn't find some way to cause an off-the-shelf normal pager to explode by some ingenious hack, but managed to plant little explosives in them via "hacking" the supply chain. I still wonder how they detonated them. If it was temperature sensitive explosive, how did they cause the temp to rise when they wanted? Looks you would want to control that, and not have it go off randomly based on how hot the batteries managed to get. Maybe they put something inside that would respond to a signal somehow and short the battery out, and quickly raise the battery temp. My daughter, who left my nest as somewhat sane and four years of community college later was a screaming leftist ... loves her some Tim Walz and some Ranked Choice voting. I'm all for multiple voting periods ... eliminate all the candidates who's votes couldn't change the outcome at the top. And then run it again. But I'm also against all this "vote three months in advance" shit. One ballot - one choice. The rest, as has been said above, is just an excuse for fraud in a process that - frankly - is fraudulent up to it's fucking eyeballs. Our elections are no better than the current ones in Russia. Ranked choice gave us primaries with 30 candidates for governor. Why bother to vote?
Posted by: Notsothoreau at September 17, 2024 08:05 PM (MpVUb) Easy damn answer here - and I don't like Ranked Choice. But who pushes it ? Dems or Repubs - when they don't like the idea of a Third Party Candidate. Shit like this all started with Perot. Because the second time he ran ... he pulled 18% of the vote. Nobody talks about that anymore. We got McCain - Feingold because of Ross Perot. We got bullshit schemes like Ranked Choice because of Ross Perot. The manipulating of the vote, and media, started for real with that 18% that Ross Perot pulled. Hell, and this rate ? I don't doubt that the Feds really did crash his daughter's wedding. Old and busted: One person, one vote!
New hotness ranked choice voting: One person, many fractional votes!! So easy to manipulate and so difficult to detect fraud. Seem to recall that Dr. Shiva suspected that the software feature used to accommodate ranked choice voting, applying fractional votes, was used in 2020 to steal the election (one of many methods). They could have shaved off 10% of every Trump vote and give it to Biden. He did a nearly 2 hour video explaining it and the voting data irregularities he saw that confirmed it. Delta Air Lines has been forced to remind thousands of prospective flight attendants who are currently going through the Atlanta-based carrier’s latest recruitment drive that they must wear “proper undergarments” that aren’t visible in their interview. The reminder was sent out in a leaked two-page document entitled “appearance requirements acknowledgment,” which explains in detail what candidates should look like when they turn up for an in-person assessment by Delta’s recruiters. As well as telling applicants that “proper undergarments must be worn but must not be visible,” the document also reminds potential new-hire flight attendants that they should not use profanity during their interview and that chewing gum isn’t permitted throughout the assessment day. Ach, the enchanting majesty of Neuschwanstein, jewel of the Alpine foothills and the pride of Bavaria. Mad King Ludwig's gift to Deutschland and the entire world. A word, Werner adds, that includes Disneyland and its assorted collection of bastards who have never once offered compensation for their knockoff version that they term Cinderella's Castle. Is Werner being too harsh with Herr Disney's corporate entity? Werner would suggest that being too harsh on Disney is an impossibility. The massive expenditure of Deutschmarks and Kanzler Bismarck's carefully-orchestrated murder of Ludwig should count for something, surely? What would it hurt to have consulted with the BRD and make a reasonable offer for the likeness of our beloved Murder Castle? Consider your own feelings if Deutschland erected a replica of your Mount Rushmore in the Harz Mountains, and added insult to injury by creating the likenesses of Richard Simmons, John Ritter, Joy Behar, and Vanilla Ice. We love your nation and would never do this to you, but the idea is perhaps conveyed? Place Kathleen Kennedy in a trebuchet and fling her into the Pacific, and all shall be well between us.

get the cats Capstar, It is a tablet you can get at the pet stores or Walmart. You can grind a tablet up and put it in some wet food or tuna, or whatever they love best. It works for a day, so you can dose them a couple of times a month. The medication is nitenpyram, read up on it about toxicity and the like, just like you would for yourself. It only gets adults, so you will have to treat a couple of times. This is good for cats with fleas that don't have a chance to get reinfected Posted by: Kindltot at September 17, 2024 08:45 PM (D7oie) 195

70 49 Lived in Spain for three years in the Navy and was able to visit Neuschwanstein with the family on vacation. Just incredible. King Ludwig built it as a get-away from Munich but the poor guy died and never lived in it.
Castle is amazing. He never lived in it because the interior was never finished. Only a receiving room and bedroom as I recall. He also built a smaller scale Versailles on an island in the Bavarian lake Chiemsee. Once sailed to it on a sailboat rented at the now-closed Chiemsee AFRC resort - a former Nazi retreat. Maybe they put something inside that would respond to a signal somehow and short the battery out, and quickly raise the battery temp. Cheese. Everything else is a side. If you want a stuffed quesadilla, it's called a burrito.
Posted by: weft cut-loop Wrong. A quesadilla is two tortillas with whatever you want in between, fried flat in a pan, flipped and crispy on both sides. A burrito is a larger, soft tortilla, usually flour, steamed and stuffed and rolled. Usually has rice, beans, cheese and meat. 8-year-old girl takes family car, drives 25 minutes to Target
Koco.com A next-door neighbor provided the family and police officers with ring camera footage showing that the child got into the family's SUV and drove off alone around 7 a.m. Officers quickly located the vehicle in a Target parking lot. Moments later, officers were also able to locate the 8-year-old girl inside the Target. Police said she had a frappuccino when they found her, and they allowed her to finish it. I remember one year driving from southern Italy up to Garmisch Germany in December.
We drove over to visit the Castle, and while I was carrying our son on my shoulders up the driveway to the entrance, it began to snow. The kind of snow that you only see in Bavaria, with the castle above us sometimes disappearing in the falling snow. It was a true classic winter snapshot...the kind of thing that only happens in the movies. and our son loved it, catching the snowflakes and riding on my shoulders. Now I'm a much older man, our son has grown to be a good and honorable man in his own right, and we will join in watching him marry the girl of his dreams in two weeks. And I will carry the memories of that magical walk in the snow to visit the castle to my dying day. Posted by: Village Idiot's Apprentice at September 17, 2024 09:48 PM (a1415) 347

Thanks. I'm seeing basically how this would work. Put a little PETN charge in the things, then rig a little detonator, which could be a tiny little fusible link thing. Pulse enough current to blow it and make a spark of the right energy and boom. The stories were describing it as "battery temp sensitive", which this would not be.
