Here is a story. A tale about one of the worst movies I've ever seen. That movie stars Eddie Izzard. It's called 'Dr Jekyll'. It is shit. Everything about it is bad. The story, the pacing, the setting, the acting... But especially Izzard. Here's a sample piece of dialogue. [...] At NO POINT is the fact that Izzard is a bloke in a dress and a wig mentioned, despite the fact that he bigger jaw than Frankenstein's monster. This movie insults Robert Louis Stevenson, insults the story of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and insults the audience. It scores 0/10. StarWarsTheory @realswtheory 7h
Amandla Stenberg's response to the Acolyte being canceled. Do you agree with her? She says (paraphrasing) that the show suffered from tons of vitriol, bigotry, racism and hate from the alt-right which, essentially, is why it got canceled. Idk about all that I just though it's a poorly written show that was boring and f'd with the lore. I'll have a response video up soon, I have a couple things to chime in. Wall Street Silver @WallStreetSilv 6h Amandla Stenberg blames racism and the alt-right for Star Wars The Acolyte being cancelled without a season 2. Most fans thought it was simply boring and poorly written, ignoring the cannon of Star Wars. Some of the writers had zero history with Star Wars. The hidden owner trick dog reminded me of when the missus and I arrived at the start of a jewelry making class together with our last before the current Portuguese Water Dog. We had gotten breakfast sandwiches at Wawa and I put them under the classroom table, which is where Moura, the dog, was housed. There was a cloth skirt around the perimeter of the table. We both went to the front of the classroom to view the first demonstration from the instructor. We returned to our seats, where I reached under the table for the bag of sandwiches and to our surprise found that both of them were gone. The look that I got from Moura when I looked beneath the table to find her could only best be described as "Wut? I dindu nuffin!" Posted by: Village Idiot's Apprentice And here I just thought that was contempt. Posted by: She Hobbit at August 29, 2024 08:42 PM (ftFVW) Cats have borderline personality disorder. Everything they do, both affectionate and destructive, is meant to communicate how much they love you. Dogs have histrionic personality disorder. You spend the first 15 years of their lives constantly having to reassure them how much you love them, and they still freak out and act like you really really really hate them when you look at them wrong. Posted by: fd at August 29, 2024 08:45 PM (vFG9F) Ensure that the alternator has a good ground wire, preferably #10 wire, going to the negative post on the battery. One or two flaky grounds between the alternator and battery can result in overcharging, because the internal regulator does not "see" full battery voltage. - No idea. I was in a rush when it surged and haven't done any troubleshooting beyond putting the multimeter to the posts. BUT that engine bay was very considerately designed so I don't think there will be any issues at all with the swap. I remember a friends Lumina (I think that's right) where you had to pull a support and maybe a washer fluid reservoir to access the battery. It was such a relief to see that this one is laid out cleanly and with maintenance in mind. It hasn't missed a beat, though. A buddy said "Those 3.8s will warn you a long time before they leave you stranded. If you get stuck on the side of the road then you usually deserve it."
