Breaking: Supreme Court Turns Down Biden's Request to Reinstate Their Title IX Rewrite

The Supreme Court had previously struck down parts of Biden's Title IX rewrite as unconstitutional. Biden, for example, rewrote Congressionally-passed law to redefine women as including boys. The Court ruled, rightly, that the president cannot change the meaning of the law on his own whim.

Biden, in a purely political move to appease his leftwing lunatic base, appealed and asked the Supreme Court to pretty please allow him the powers of a tyrant.

The Supreme Court says no.

The Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision denied the Biden administration's emergency request to partially reinstate its new Title IX rule.

The sweeping changes to Title IX, which protects against sex discrimination in schools, cover sexual orientation and gender identity for the first time. Various Republican state attorneys general have persuaded judges to block implementation in roughly half the country.

The Biden administration contended those injunctions went too far, urging the Supreme Court to narrow them to primarily block the prohibitions on gender identity discrimination at the center of the challenges -- allowing the other changes to go into effect.

Those updates, which were set to go into effect on Aug. 1, span from accommodations for pregnant students to retaliation protections to recordkeeping requirements.

"On this limited record and in its emergency applications, the Government has not provided this Court a sufficient basis to disturb the lower courts' interim conclusions that the three provisions found likely to be unlawful are intertwined with and affect other provisions of the rule," according to the court's unsigned order.

...

The Biden administration has defended its updates to Title IX, which covers schools, as consistent with the court's doctrine. The court's unsigned opinion indicates all nine justices unanimously agreed that the lower courts were proper to block the central changes related to gender identity at this preliminary stage of the challenges.

Gorsuch voted with the liberals. He's the Amy Coney Barrett of David Souters.

📌#Milwaukee | #Wisconsin
Earlier this afternoon, Trump Force Two, a Boeing 737 charter aircraft carrying Republican vice-presidential nominee JD Vance, made an emergency landing at Milwaukee International Airport. According to airport officials, the plane, operated by Eastern Air, returned to the airport around 1:30 p.m. due to a possible issue with the door seal. The aircraft landed normally and taxied without incident under its own power. After declaring an emergency, Trump Force Two returned to Milwaukee. Once the issue was resolved, the plane was cleared for takeoff and resumed its original flight path to Cincinnati. This incident comes just one week after former President Trump's plane also made an emergency landing.

103 Judge Bork got a raw deal.

For about 175 years, maybe longer, it was held in Congress that a newly elected president deserved to have his choices confirmed by the Senate, as a general rule.

You get one guess who was point man, when all that became routine - to try and knock down any conservative who deigned to serve on the court. Or taxing social security.

Another good 'un that I heard, never bothered to confirm it, Biden at the time in the early 70s publicly came out against resettlement for Vietnamese "boat people", genuine refugees from the war. It's my understanding he was there in '72, maybe '75 and voted to cut off military aid to South Vietnam, and that as they say, was the end of that. The Communists moved in, after the south ran out of ammo.

🚨#BREAKING: Top Washington Post editors reviewing a private Instagram story by Taylor Lorenz that reportedly labeled Biden a "war criminal" in a photo caption
📌#Washington | #DC
Senior editors at The Washington Post are reviewing a tech columnist's private social media post that appears to label President Biden a 'war criminal' in a photo. The incident followed Taylor Lorenz's attendance at a White House event for digital influencers. Lorenz initially denied the caption's authenticity, dismissing it as a 'dumbass edit.' However, NPR obtained a screengrab of the original post and confirmed its authenticity through four sources. Reportedly, Lorenz removed the caption an hour after posting and reposted the image without it. A spokesperson for the Post stated that senior editors are 'looking into' the potential violation of standards.

119 It was always part of the flight plan on Apollo to close the LEM hatch. Aldrin started a long tradition of "... being careful not to lock it" kind of running joke.

Nobody really came up with a reason on why this would be necessary. Possible thermal load evening or somesuch. Or "Did you grow up in a barn?" kind of thing.

One concern they had with this, is if something started leaking inside the pressure hull. A closed hatch would be impossible to open with even a fraction of PSI agains it, that's how it worked. The hatch was so thin in places, it was sort of "peeled" open when all of the pressure had been released.

There was a relief valve outside the LEM but it wasn't something they wanted to experiment with, not being able to get back in the spacecraft.

There are several slider controls you need to set to determine the denomination - and even then there is a quite a bit of play:

• God is Totally in Control ........ God is a co-pilot
• High Church .... WHAM BAM JESUS JAM !!!1!
• Theological Academics .... The screen projector is my Bible
• Six Day Creationist .... Billions of years
• Only the Elect are Saved .... Anyone who is sincere in whatever faith
• Credo Baptism (switch) Paedo Baptism
• Strict hierarchy .... Anything goes
• Extreme piety .... Come as you are, stay as you came.

Adjust these sliders and switches and there is certainly a denomination/assembly for you.

“None of my Hillbilly cousins went to Yale, or went on to become venture capitals, that’s not who people really are.”

Walz enrolled into a Harvard University teaching program abroad in China.

John Daniel Davidson @johnddavidson 5h
This is some of the most anti-American garbage a major Democratic candidate has ever spouted in public. In a few sentences, Walz repudiates the foundation of the American dream: that whoever you are, whatever your circumstances, you can make something of yourself in America.

170 Roberts has to be being blackmailed. Nobody is this stupid. He will have a legacy alright.

I really don't think he is blackmailed.

He's doing whatever he can do to save the thing he loves - the Supreme Court. The man loves the idea of the institution. And look - we've seen people here, for years yet not recently, defend the military and police and a ton of other institutions that are obviously corrupt to the core.

Roberts recognizes that the Supreme Court, at the end of the day, has no power. They have less guns, and less budget, that the friggin' Department of Education. They are the nine robed fuck-heads hiding behind the curtain.

Roberts is pissing down his leg, and acting accordingly, based upon which President or Governor will simply tell him "you've made your ruling, now enforce it".

172 SSN get compromised. that is true. say, have you heard our entire Db of ssn got stolen ?

You are fearing the wrong thing. You think that they only extract SSNs and credentials?

What is truly terrifying is the addition of SSNs and credentials into a database.

You can turn illegal aliens and foreign spies into TS Clearance long-term, trusted employees.

177 165 Being Jewish, i have no idea what the differences among the various Christian denominations are
