Van Jones: The Walz Pick Was Harris "Caving Into the Darker Parts of the Party" and Playing to the Antisemites "Marbled Into This Party"

Walz is the perfect running mate for Kamala: He balances Kamala's San Francisco Socialism with some Minnesota Communism.

Kyle Becker
@kylenabecker

JUST IN: Media buzz is rising that Kamala Harris is selecting Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her VP choice.

Who is Tim Walz? Let's take a quick look:

* Fueled BLM Riots in 2020
* Rioters looted and wrecked Minneapolis
* Change MN state flag to resemble Somalia's
* K*lled old people with Cov*d nursing home scandal
* MN a 'gr**mer friendly' LGBTQIA+ "sanctuary" state
* Pushes youth trans surgery, 'hormone therapy' agenda
* Soldiers accused Walz of embellishing and selectively omitting facts about his military career
* Fellow soldiers accused him of "quitting" on them
* Got DUI in 1995 going 96mph in a 55 speed zone
* Praises socialism

Kamala's "perfect" running mate?

If you missed it, Jack Poso says that some of the National Guardsmen who served with this louse say he bailed out of the Guard when he got word they might be deployed to Iraq:

@JackPosobiec

BREAKING: Minnesota National Guard Leaders publish letter exposing Tim Walz for Stolen Valor

Walz lied about his rank, and quit when he heard his unit was going to mobilize to Iraq

Here are some of the "darker parts of the party" that Van Jones doesn't have the guts to confront:

From a few days ago: Another word salad tossed by champion salad-tosser Kamala Harris.

Movement is happening in various primaries around the US kicking out the GOPe. It just may not happening fast enough before the deluge comes from Uncle Sam's fiscal meltdown.

In TN primaries, a couple of establishment corporate types went down in the GOP state legislative primaries which will weaken GOPe governor Lee for example.

Note the vapors from the establishment about Trump calling out Kemp and Ratshitburger in his Atlanta GA rally last week. That was in part daring them to allow the cheat in 2024 and in part warning people about Kemp who wants to run for Senate in 2026 (against Ossoff reportedly).

Alec Baldwin’s Rust shooting trial was ‘improperly dismissed’ by judge, says prosecutor

Alec Baldwin’s high-profile manslaughter trial over the fatal shooting on the set of movie Rust was “improperly dismissed” by the judge, according to prosecutors.

In a bombshell ruling in the middle of Baldwin’s trial in July, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer threw out the case against the Hollywood star, claiming that New Mexico police and prosecutors had withheld ammunition evidence from the defense.

The case was dismissed “with prejudice”, meaning the charges cannot be refiled, with the judge saying that it was necessary to protect “the integrity of the judicial system”.

In a court filing on 31 July, which has now been made public, special prosecutor Kari Morrissey
argued that the judge “misunderstood” the evidence and dropped the case “without hearing anyof the testimony or argument”.

“Although the court’s final order has not yet been filed, undersigned counsel contends that the
court misunderstood the testimony on July 12, 2024, and improperly dismissed the case against
Mr. Baldwin,” Ms. Morrissey said in the documents.

Yeah, that's "socialism," too. Fred has more tools than me. And he can't use all those tools at the same time. So I'll just help him out and ease the burden of taking care of all those valuable tools, because I'm a goodfuckingneighbor.

157 I like what I've seen of him. The actual strategy is to appeal to baby boomers (like me). Our age group typically makes it to the polls to vote and they don’t want us to feel left out.

This is a rising tide lifts all boats pick. And good for PA. In 18 months Josh Shapiro has turned the state around, but the job is not finished. PA needs full steam ahead.

Walz can bring in PA. He is a classic midwesterner. A bit of Paul Wellstone in him. OMG I am loosing my governor!

What's Scarborough's problem? Shapiro carries PA, anti-semitism, blah blah. Bill Kristol, too. He's like the anti-Midas touch with VP candidates.

This is a man who resonates truth when he speaks to voters. He can carry the message, nationally. He has this energy, not of a packaged politician, but of transparency and believability. VP Harris didn't pick him to win a state. She picked him to win the election. I tell you, this is GOLD.

I was hoping Mark Kelly for a high energy ticket. Waltz shores up the base maybe, but I don't see his broader appeal. Kamala is probably way sharper than I when figuring all the pieces out so I am good with this and 100% behind this ticket.

That is a rare talent. Reagan, Ike, and Clinton were natural politicians as was FDR.

But FDR was one of the few that could fill a large open air rally just like his cousin Theodore could way back when. Rare talent politically.

I'd be astonished if he couldn't, given his background. As far as Trump is concerned, he appeals to a segment of the pop, but I am in the segment that finds his shtick boring. Which segment is bigger? Beats me.

223 Interests are organic.

They also cause you to weigh strategies as to how they impact your central interest.

The BLM riots were NOT in the interests of Minnesotans.

They are of "interest" to an abstract Cause of expressing the "voice" of a victim demographic that just wants to express the "right thing" and feel compelled to be on the "right side" in every situation, and think that doing so "despite the costs" is "virtue".

And now we see all the big city STUPIDITY flows from this valuation of "worthy costs" (as reconciled to a theory) and spurning of "interests", however enlightened.

293 Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance, wouldn’t answer the simple question of whether he’ll debate Walz. So at least that part of the fear in the Trump-Vance campaign is real.

Trump and Vance are facing a ticket of normal, happy people with solid policy chops and the energy and enthusiasm to get the job done, and it’s terrifying them.

Nate Silver Has a Sad Over Walz. He argued for Shapiro and was ignored. "Tim Walz is a Minnesota Nice choice...from the family of Tim Kaine-style VP choices: inoffensive, unlikely to cause any harm, “safe”...I believe he’s probably the wrong choice, a step back toward the Democratic Party’s instincts to triangulate instead of the boldness the Harris campaign has displayed so far."

Walz is the guy who made “weird” go viral, which the GOP still doesn’t know how to respond to (“I know you are, but what am I?” is the most they’ve come up with). And Silver thinks Walz is “inoffensive”??!!!

Walz is the guy who welcomed the Somalis, who made sure they got properly settled, and who brags about how well they’ve integrated into Minnesota.

Go back and read a few stories about the 2018 election when he won the governor's race and amidst the court battle over the vote, made sure to erase all the records of voting from a state contractor's servers. He was SoS at the time.

Go back and read his financial reports going back to when he was a state senator up to today. He became a multimillionaire in office.

Now go and actually see his record in Covid. Lots of stuff you never saw on the national media that state and local gubmint employees had to do in response. Truth is that it was not that good but he is pumped up by the Conservative Media pundits because he is a WEF uniparty type and hates Trump.

I don't think that video exists anymore but it is Jones asking Democrats about the fact that Trump said Dems were the anti-Semitic party.

It seems Jones has for some period of time - perhaps dating back to getting kicked out of the Obama admin - been warning Dems that anti-Semitism was a bad look for them.

It was when they failed to assassinate Trump. This seems to me to be the only logical reason for any of this...

They don't have any policies to commit to except abortion on demand and funding the war in Ukraine.
Other than that, the rest of us can go to hell.
Bongino yesterday was ranting about how they don't care about us. They only care about themselves. Don't expect them to rescue you. It's like defund the police but live behind gated compounds. If that dirty bomb happens, they will be safe inside their shelters but no room for anyone else.
