Back end was wet and I cleaned her off. Pretty sure she hasn't eaten today and may not have taken any water. Worried that it could be kidneys as I've lost a cat that way. Could be a UTI too. I'll see how it goes.

107 From Insty:

Take a look at this report from Politico (emphasis in the original):

Why not Shapiro? By contrast, Pennsylvania Gov. JOSH SHAPIRO’s team felt that his own interview with Harris did not go as well as it could have. There was “not a great feeling” coming out of it, according to a person in touch with Shapiro’s advisers. A person familiar with the selection process told our colleagues that, after their meeting on Sunday, Shapiro called Harris’ team and made clear that he was “struggling with the decision to leave his current job as governor, in order to seek the vice presidency.”

Does anyone believe that Shapiro was “struggling with the decision to leave his current job as governor”? Of course, he wasn’t. This sounds like Shapiro realized that the risk of joining the Harris ticket was too high after the terrible jobs report on Friday and the subsequent stock market crash on Monday.

In other words, he dropped out.

In the Southern reaches of your nation, some addressed me as "Captain," and in other regions "Chief." In Deutschland, custom demands that one addressed those whom one has not met as Goblin Hell-Fiend. Krampus Leavings may also be used if one is in a festive holiday mood, for it gladdens the soul. Okay, I see your problems here. The custom predates Werner. Germany is a nation that once employed Toilet Maidens, who would sell squares of toilet paper in the most sadistic manner while demanding one not waste time, so what do you expect? NEW: Dog starts a house fire in Tulsa, Oklahoma after chewing through a portable lithium-ion battery.

The Tulsa Fire Department released the following video to warn people about the "dangers of lithium-ion batteries."

Two dogs and a cat were filmed hanging out before one of the dogs started the fire with the battery pack.

The animals were filmed in the living room on an indoor monitoring camera, observing the fire before it got out of hand.

"Lithium-ion batteries are known for storing a significant amount of energy in a compact space," the fire department said.

"However, when this energy is released uncontrollably, it can generate heat, produce flammable and toxic gases, and even lead to explosions."

The pets were able to escape the home through a dog door.

Yeah, you don't put bandages on until you stop leaking. I will use a wad of telfa and tape if I have to keep working, though I have other absorbents too, I lucked into a cache of alginate dressings and those are the bomb, though they need either a heavy flow or a large weeping scrape.
sanitary pads are like wound dressings that come with pretty wrappings. I found out that some of them come with a peel off strip that exposes a sticky strip that will help them self adhere, how cool is that?

The kid says, "Well, first I sold him some new fish hooks. Then I sold him a new fishing rod to go with his new hooks. Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down to the boat department and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft. Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4x4 Chevrolet Suburban."

The boss said "A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and a SUV???"

The kid said "No, the guy came in here to buy tampons for his wife, and I said, 'Bro, your weekend's ruined, you should go fishing."

346 Oh no, you went there. Here are the facts for ya, friend:

Walz joined the National Guard, and somehow stayed in after a DUI. During that DUI stop, Walz pretended to be deaf due to “artillery”. But oopsie! Walz was never in Iraq or Afghanistan, he lied about this.

Walz then claimed during his GOV run he retired as a CSM. Oopsie! He neither retired, nor was he a CSM. He was forced to retract the retire crap. He quit and claimed he needed to so he could run for Congress, which is a load of garbage. He didn’t want to go to Iraq because he is a weak tailed simp.

The Army corrected his paperwork when he quit, it shows he was an E8! Not an E9. E8 is nothing to sneeze at, of course, but lying about your rank is dirty.

Lying about serving in theater is dirty and disgusting. His over sea tour was Italy. Scary times there! He also had a penchant for nominating himself for awards. Even ones he didn’t come close to qualifying for - and his unit thought as much of him as I do.

You, sir, need to understand Walz can’t put his boots in the oven and call them biscuits. Your Walz guy is lower than a worm’s belly.

We used to do everything they recommended and despite our cats being indoor only and fed a very good diet, they never lived past 10. After we stopped with the FiV etc and only got the kitten shots, we have had one cat live to 15 (he got done in by the vet with steroids). Now we have 2 ten year old, really healthy cats. Also leftist are undisciplined and have no restraint; on X and other platforms, they almost instantly began calling everyone who they didn’t like (meaning us) “weird”. Among other things, this helped reinforce the belief that Vance is in fact a very normal guy.

They think that vibes, and weird, and tik tok dances are somehow a winning strategy. They have no idea what time it is, and how deeply in trouble they are.

We have 4 cats. Mostly outside versions. They were feral, but ages ago we caught (trapped) each one and had them given the once over. Two have been back to the vets for wounds that did not heal very well.

Otherwise, they're on their own. All healthy.

Dry food and water. They can catch the wet food if they so desire it.

407 “the people developing and distributing the messaging, are 20-something liberal women. I've seen a picture, at least 80% of them are white.”

Supporting this view - this is a very feminine strategy and attack. Men in conflict prefer open confrontation; but women tend to want to impose control through social policing, such as language control. It is very disconcerting and yes, “weird”, to see leftist men attacking like women.

Diarrhea for a week? You think that's no big deal? Good god, take him to a vet tomorrow, and ideally not the one that made the dog sick. Then once you get the diagnosis and the bill, don't hesitate to walk back in there and tell them off in front of whoever's in the waiting room.

My cats' former vet over-dosed them with a "vaccine". I'd barely returned home when they started defecating uncontrollably. It was a Saturday. I got on the phone but they'd closed at noon. I called an after hours emergency vet that shared that role on a rotating basis, covering other vets in the community. I told her to get the effing vet on the damned phone and do it fast. She did, his office called and had me come right back in. They didn't admit to anything, but they administered adrenaline or something that countered the OD. I never darkened their door again.
