Polls Are For Strippers But Strippers Seem Genuinely Interested In Me
A new Harris/Harvard X poll has Trump only up by three over Kamala, 48-45.
He had been up seven over Biden, but this poll was taken during the burst of Intense Media Infatuation with Kamala (which will last through the first week of November) and before Trump has deployed his information ads about who this drunk slut is. Also, up three points still means he'd win the electoral college by a lot. Furthermore, 48-45 does not include leaners. When you include leaners, he goes up to 52% to 48%, and I do believe that 52% is more than a majority. Lastly, a commenter pointed out that the partisan split for this poll was 40D, 30R. Gallup recently found Republicans to have an identification advantage over Democrats. +10 D is crazy.
Even the unsure voters are breaking toward Trump, at least somewhat. The more worrisome data for Democrats are in the charts below, however. Trump holds Republicans to the ticket better than Harris holds her own party in both formulations. In fact, her 87% without leaners should be a red flag for the DNC, suggesting strongly that the party is not as sold on The Anointing as the media claims, even with the full-court press on Kamalot! Take a look at the indie numbers, too. Trump leads by six points without leaners -- and six points with leaners. One has to wonder whether the sample tilts a bit toward the Dems based on those results plus the party loyalty numbers above. If so, Trump's still scoring an outright majority over Harris, who's attractiveness as a candidate is at its zenith before she's forced to open her mouth about policy. In the next slide down, we see even more demographic red flags ahead for Harris and the Dems. Trump leads by 12 among men and only trails by four among women 44/48. Trump also wins an astounding 25% of the black vote and 44% of the Hispanic vote, which is slightly lower than in some other polling.
Before we get to issues, one more worrisome result for Democrats: they only have a +3 in the generic congressional ballot without leaners, when anything less than a +5 usually means losses in the House and Senate. And when leaners get added to the mix, it becomes a +4 for the GOP.

Was Just in Lancaster, PA for a sci-fi convention. South-central PA is part of the "Pennsyltucky" part of the state. We saw ZERO signs for TCF. None. Granted, Lancaster is a college town, but the rural areas that we passed through didn't have any signs either. They didn't have any Harris signs, but that's to be expected.
I live near the border between Montgomery and Bucks, and have seen a TON of Trump signs in areas that should be split more evenly. Before he withdrew we saw a few Biden signs but, no Harris signs so far. Yard signs don't vote but people like to go with the winner, and the lack of a presence could affect momentum/interest in volunteering.
Poll boanza has begun. Kamala has a massive amount of momentum and excitement. The first polls showed she erased Trump's lead, now they're starting to show she's ahead. Expect a lot more great polls over the next 4 weeks!

Problem for the Dems is coordination of the switch and the fact that a preference cascade can open new Dem states up that don't have the organized cheaters in place. Morale of the drones is also an issue regardless of funding. These quasi criminal types that do the actual humping of the fake ballots, collect the harvested ones, etc. and fill them out are not necessarily the best employees in the world in the first place. Motivation is an issue.

There's a reason the NC Democrat Party is suing the NC elections board to remove RFK from the ballot, and it's not because he takes more votes from Trump than Kamala.
I maintained for a while that there probably were some Trump friendly voters who'd vote for RFK out of desire for a return to the D Party of the 60s.
However, I've always also suspected that the body politic that wanted that was leaning towards Biden more fully than Trump. Now, with Biden being cast out in favor of Kamala? That D-friendly protest vote number has got to have grown significantly.

2020 was a weird year of Covid which covered the Dems pulling all sorts of crap that normally could not be covered along with a monolithic support to oust the Orangeman from the WH including the GOP. Jan 6 was designed to prevent Trump from ever running again by crippling him politically and via lawfare.
So, there is reason not to believe that 2024 will be the same as 2022 or 2020. Whether it happens comes down to what are you prepared to do individually to prevent it. And yes, you can help take voters to the polls, register new ones, serve as poll workers, election judges, etc. and even comb through your local voting register list and challenge mail in ballots being sent to shopping malls, public offices, etc. that are obviously not residences.

kennedy actually pulls more votes away from trump. it's seen in a lot of polls.

1. Trump has been leading in the aggregate of polling basically all year. I don't know the last time a GOP candidate did that in an election year. It might be as far back as 84, because I know HW was down big vs Dukakis before the tank commercial, and I know W and Gore (and W and Kerry) were back and forth with neither taking the lead over the other for long. Trump leading at all is tremendous.
2. Trump has only just started his ad blitz against Kamala and while she still has the VP pick and convention to help her get some boosts, that's basically all she has. We're at the sub-100 day mark, and between now and the Trump/Kamala debate, she will have been painted as a San Fran liberal lightweight, crushing whatever momentum she might have coming out of the DNC. The debate will finish her off.
3. No way can Dems replace her. They've invested too much into the cult of personality machine to make a switch now. That'll be 3 presumed challengers to Trump in a year, basically writing the narrative that the party is scrambling and panicked, which always spells disaster in general elections. It'll be like 1968 (split party after DNC) or 1972 (ticket changes) all over again.

Convention is too late, probably on purpose by Biden to make a switch. Essentially, a campaign staff is built around the candidate and thus themes and ads that work for one do not work for another. It also means vast amounts of money already spend on preparatory ads, media stories, etc. are essentially wasted due to candidate reset. Changes ad market buys where candidates are competitive as well and the cheap rates are then gone if even available. Freezes donor spending due to uncertainty etc.
I seriously doubt from an organizational standpoint that suddenly Big Mooch is going to be substituted at the convention and result in victory and the rest of the Dem suspects are even worse in that respect. Whitmer--suburban catlady vote but not so good with minorities. Gruesome, awful record, can't debate, and once again not appealing to minorities and mebbe cat ladies. The lower tier like Shapiro, Cooper, Walz, etc are unknown males that an existing campaign can easily define.

Under DNC rules, Harris' presidential campaign -- and anyone seeking to challenge her -- would need to file paperwork with the DNC and obtain digital signatures from at least 300 delegates, with no more than 50 from a single state, by July 30 at 6 p.m. ET.
That's in 4 hours. If there are no other challengers Harris is it. They will lock her in this week, and the nominee having been already been selected, there will be no action the convention can take.

If you start seeing Trump make a bunch of September visits to Georgia and North Carolina, that's a bad sign. If we start hearing wildly different attack strategies and campaign promises in the final six-eight weeks before the election, that's a bad sign.
Likewise, if Kamala's internal polling showed her pulling away, she'd start visiting places like Arizona, Iowa, maybe Ohio. But if she spends this election doing speeches in Virginia or Minnesota, that means she's losing bad. If she's always in Nevada, and Michigan/Pennsylvania, that means it's tight.
The new "Trump is weird" attack is dumb, and it gives me confidence that Kamala's team is dumb. We'll see what they pivot to next.

The push propaganda is a problem but when it exceeds what people can readily observe--it is the same result as advertising a faulty product like E-Cars. Personal experience and knowledge gained from those around you trumps whatever the dweebs say on social media, the ads promoting it, and the search algorithm hacks by the techlords.
Biden and Harris have an unpleasant record on things most relevant to a lot of voters---Covid policies, inflation, incompetence stories everywhere, war and unpopular sendings of billions to Ukraine etc., and the strange respect of the trannie movement. This election is likely to be on the economy, peace, and prosperity. That favors Trump.

To your point yesterday about Dangerous vs Dangerously Liberal I thought it was a good one, but having seen the commercials, I think it's because Dangerous by itself wouldn't seem believable next to Harris. Remember they are trying to reach uninformed idiots.
It's hard to convince people a woman is "dangerous" because of the connotations of the word.
So what the campaign is doing is sneaking the word dangerous in as an adverb with something people are more likely to accept of a woman (and something that is also verifiably true) - that's she's liberal. JMO

Having worked in the industry for several years I did, in fact know some Dancers who were working their way through college. One of our dancers was a substitute dancer for the World renown Houston Ballet. When somebody in Corps of the Ballet was injured or ill, they would call her up to dance on short notice. How many jobs do you think there are for professional dancers? The answer is not very many.
So am I saying most dancers are like that? No, but they do exist.
