A 21-year-old man driving a red Ford Mustang is accused of crashing into a house, according to the Petaluma Police Department. Petaluma police were notified of the crash by multiple callers around 7:53 p.m. on Thursday. The residence was located near the intersection of Caulfield Lane and South McDowell Boulevard. Responding officers located a red Ford Mustang “with substantial exterior damage” that crashed into the side of a home.

Was just looking at Insty's ON thread and there's a video a bystander made of the assassin crawling on the roof. Beyond chilling. The SS knew he was up there and did nothing. Also, checking out X and looking at all the frame by frame analyses of the shooting. If PDT hadn't turned his head to look at the immigration statistics chart when he did he would be dead.

1) If there was an unauthorized ladder leading to the roof that looked suspicious enough for a police officer to climb it, Trump should have been pulled off the stage until the matter was resolved.
2) We don't know if the shooter "sprayed' his rounds. That's a matter for forensics to decide. He killed on supporter in the stands and critically wounded two others. That's 3 out of at least five in the general vicinity.
3) Back to the ladder. That's part of a plan. His plan? Someone else's?
4) No one on the protective team took proper pro-active action. All we saw was reactive action. If there was an ROE in place, it was uhhhh ... defective.
5) I'm leaning to the idea that the shooter had training. He was certainly disciplined enough to make sure that everything he needed to get the job done was in place. The fundamentals: when he pulled the trigger, the rifle went "boom".

Dogs are back out in the kennel after a week as house guests and $1600 (parts and labor) of emergency fence repairs.
We lost 160 feet of wooden privacy fence along the side of the house and 90 feet of Kentucky board fence along the road was blown over. Until it was fixed we couldn't have the dogs outside u supervised. They were run out one at a time to a small pen outside the back door.

It's more than the hot anger, its such sadness. Why this man, Donald J. Trump, has been persecuted, libeled/slandered, prosecuted and now shot. Innocent people who supported him shot killed or injured. So shocking.

The only thing I've read about the good guy snipers is the closest one usually pictured was local and supposedly did not fire. The shots came from an S.S. sniper some 300 to 400 yards away, in a tree IIRC; he fired only after realizing the shooter was getting off rounds. If there were other snipers or badges with a shot nearby, they may have gotten off some rounds. But the take down shot was from distance.

May have brought telescoping ladder in order to climb the building because I want to think a big assed ladder sitting there all night/day would have been noticed by someone.

The big picture was obviously a shitshow, and for reasons outside the control of most of the individuals on-site. It's too early to point fingers at any sniper teams as it appears one had no LOS and the other had to reorient. *Someone* seemed to fuck up a bunch of basic stuff supporting the close detail but aside from the obvious B-team/newbie trying hard to go with the flow (the reholstering lady doing the Mr. Bean skit), everyone else did a pretty good job for being shot at. Absent additional information, I would buy them all beers even if it sucks that some bystanders got shot. I have bean the Mr. Bean, but that's supposed to happen in training.
At a higher level there is some serious crisis-of-competence stuff going on though, for sure.

I've been nearly shot by young ladies in out of their depth. I've also had my ass handed to me by a few. This here isn't a huge problem by itself, especially compared to the big picture failings, even if it probably has the same ultimate cause. I feel that lady being there while not being ready is more the fault of her leadership rather then her.

Also, I keep asking this, but may have missed any replies: is Trump entitled to any other security other than the usual former president type? I keep seeing people all over the internet asking why there weren't snipers om every roof, etc, but would that really happen at this point? Do the other former presidents get that level of protection every day? Trump isn't even the nominee yet. I have been to a few events where Dubya spoke post-presidency and I do not recall there being spotters, snipers, etc 9n every rooftop within a half mile. I thought they had a few guys, at most?
