Radio Host Confesses That She Was Given the Questions She Was Allowed to Ask Biden by the White House;
Radio Station Fires Her for Telling the Truth

This is how Banana Republics operate when the banana harvest fails.

Biden is now calling in to black radio stations to shore up support among this group. But he's not offering actual interviews -- he's telling Strong Black Women what questions the White Man demands they ask.

President Joe Biden's campaign provided lists of approved questions to two radio hosts who interviewed him after his faltering debate performance. Biden's Thursday appearances on Black radio shows in the critical states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were his first chances after the debate to show he could answer questions and discuss his record.

The 81-year-old repeatedly struggled to complete sentences at the debate and press his case against Republican Donald Trump.

Radio host Earl Ingram said Saturday that Biden aides reached out to him directly for his interview that aired Thursday and sent him a list of four questions in advance. Ingram says the list gave him pause but considered the chance to interview the president a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

And now: one of the radio hosts who reported she was given the questions she must ask Biden has been fired.

A Detroit radio station has parted ways with a host who disclosed that she received scripted questions for an interview with President Joe Biden.

Key Details:

Sherry Sylvester, former host at 97.1 FM, revealed she was given questions in advance for a Biden interview.

The station announced her departure following the disclosure.

Sylvester criticized the practice, calling it "unethical" and a "disservice to listeners."

...

The revelation has sparked controversy, with critics arguing that pre-scripted questions compromise journalistic integrity and the transparency of interviews with public officials. Sylvester's supporters praised her for speaking out, highlighting concerns about media manipulation and the authenticity of political interviews.

This is America now: Tell the truth, the leftwing corporations fire you.

What's the penalty for treason again?

Megyn Kelly pointed out that during the "interview" with longtime Clinton operative George Stephanopolous, Biden answered "I don't know" when asked the simple yes-or-no question, Did you watch a playback of the debate after the debate?

You don't know? You don't know?! How could you not know?!

Biden doesn't know if he did or didn't. He goes on to hallucinate that Trump was "still yelling" during the debate when his mic was cut off.

We saw Trump during the debate. He was not talking when Biden was talking, except in one case: When Biden insanely challenged him to a game of golf, Trump responded, as Biden had invited him to.

Oh -- Biden sure sounded like he was reading directly from a script when he gave his Angry Dark Brandon Shouting Phone Call to Morning Joe.

No camera on him, so you can't see him reading the script.

Right-wingers are fully aware of what non-right-wing media outlets say. Libs often have absolutely no idea what goes on in right-wing media, they have no understanding of what right-wingers actually think. This is part of why it’s so shocking to them now that anyone would question Biden’s competence. They haven’t seen a million videos of Biden mumbling and trailing off and lumbering around and looking lost, they didn’t know that he gets fed questions in advance. Two weeks ago, libs would’ve called it all fake news and cheapfakes, but right-wingers have known this stuff for years. Despite positioning themselves as the educated ones in the room, libs so often have absolutely horrendous media literacy.

This is also why every two months, you get “we’re canceling our New York Times subscriptions” freakouts -- and we’re seeing this happen to journos and news outlets on a nuclear scale right now -- because anything uncomfortable is seen as traitorous and must be immediately rejected. They’re not used to bad news (the type of bad news that makes them feel bad about themselves instead of the other guy being bad) and they have no idea how to navigate that.

VINDMAN: Many people forget is that Col. Alexander Vindman was listening in on Trump's call with Zelensky when the president asked Ukraine to get to the bottom of what really happened with Biden and Burisma. Vindman, a staunch critic of Trump, worried that the investigation might expose Joe Biden's malfeasance in Ukraine. As a military officer, Vindman was required to remain apolitical, and leaking the contents of a diplomatic call was a serious violation of law. Worse is the fact that Vindman mischaracterized the call when he described it to his NSC colleague Eric Ciaramella, who then repeated the mischaracterization when he leaked its contents to Rep. Adam Schiff. Trump's saving grace was his unprecedented decision to release the official State Department transcription of the call—something Vindman could not have foreseen.

Posted by: andycanuck (Jh5b+) at July 08, 2024 06:43 PM (Jh5b+)

33 @amuse @amuse Jul 6
For instance, Vindman claimed Trump said, “I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of it.” The transcript revealed Trump actually said, "There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great.”

Vindman also claimed that Trump made a clear threat, implying that if Zelensky did not comply with his demands, the U.S. would withhold military aid. The transcript showed Trump actually said, “I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time.”

Vindman's lies and exaggerations protected Joe Biden from a Ukrainian-led investigation of his involvement with Burisma and gave the Democrats an excuse to impeach President Trump.

Today, Vindman is claiming that President Trump forced him out of the Army. The truth is that Col. Vindman retired from the Army after 21 years, receiving his full retirement and benefits. This was his choice. After leaving the Army, he decided to become a Ukraine war profiteer by forming Trident International LLC.

Posted by: andycanuck (Jh5b+) at July 08, 2024 06:43 PM (Jh5b+)

34 Scripted question? Every presser Joke has ever given.

Posted by: Ben Had at July 08, 2024 06:43 PM (5MvGY)

35 @amuse @amuse Jul 6
Vindman pitched a $12 million contract proposal to establish a Weapons Systems Sustainment Center in Ukraine. This center aims to enhance Ukraine's capabilities to repair and maintain military equipment by acting as a logistical midpoint between NATO weapons and Ukrainian forces. Vindman and his company secured enough private funding to launch a pilot project, focusing on embedding contractors with Ukrainian units near the front lines to provide logistical support and training. Although the Biden administration has expressed reluctance to have American contractors on the ground, the project has continued with the approval of the Ukrainian government, and efforts are being made to recruit non-American mercenaries as well.

Now, Vindman is pleading poverty and asking for your help. The fact of the matter is that he's lucky he wasn't prosecuted for violating the law and his oath. While all suspects, including Vindman, are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, he is very lucky that Biden thinks he's above the law.

Whenever two shitlib pet issues clash with each other there is always this commentary like "oooh wonder which one will win" as though the shitlib will experience a cognitive dissonance and become confused about which to support first.

But they won’t. the methodology for predicting which will come out on top is actually very simple: it's whatever causes the most social harm.

Lesbians beaten up by homophobic Muslim migrants? Immediate KO, migrants win, doesn't matter that they're "bigots." The lesbians might have had a fighting chance if they were gay men with piss fetishes and three surrogate sons instead, but alas.

Woman raped by illegals or beaten up by Persons of Houselessness? You already know.

80 pagliacci the hated 🌝 @Slatzism Jul 2
This logic works even if the calculation is more complex, such as a hijabi who doesn't want to share a changing room with a transformer.

The transformer will win. Doesn't even matter that hijabi has three shitlib credit points (Muslim, brown, female). The transformer causes more net social harm on the whole.

Criminals, terrorists, and the omnirace swarm will top almost every battle. Doesn't matter if they're domestic abusers, or pedophiles, or racists, or sexists, or homophobes... they cause the most net social harm, so they will win.

The only consistent challenger to every potential opponent is the transformer, and I don't mean a preened and relatively "normal" transformer - I mean a hairy, fetishistic, porn addicted lumberjack in a skirt.

He's like the final boss in the shitlib pet issue matchups. We should all fear what he will eventually be dethroned by.

1. Reducing the role of the federal government is the opposite of fascism. It transfers power to the states.

Agree. But that's not what Trump is doing. He and his fellow travelers are arguing, and achieving, a unitary executive theory, which will greatly expand the president's personal power. They've already achieved this with this week's SCOTUS ruling.

Moreover, he did NOT shrink the federal government during this first administration. This is from the Libertarian Reason magazine. reason.com/2020/08/27/no-don…

Any extra power Trump gets is transferred to the next Democrat president.

Presidential immunity is more good than bad. Otherwise, the president gets lawfared in office. That’s unworkable.

Trump wants to get rid of entire functions of the federal government and transfer to states. Abortion laws and education are examples.

Trump doesn’t want 1st or 2nd Amendments (especially) weakened with clever workarounds such as using other countries or putting leverage on social media.

Budgets are a bad measure of this phenomenon. Budgets are mostly military, interest payments, welfare, Medicare.

127 The New Republic @newrepublic
We chose the cover image, based on a well-known 1932 Hitler campaign poster, for a precise reason: that anyone transported back to 1932 Germany could very, very easily have explained away Herr Hitler’s excesses and been persuaded that his critics were going overboard. After all, he spent 1932 campaigning, negotiating, doing interviews—being a mostly normal politician. But he and his people vowed all along that they would use the tools of democracy to destroy it, and it was only after he was given power that Germany saw his movement’s full face.

Today, we at The New Republic think we can spend this election year in one of two ways. We can spend it debating whether Trump meets the nine or 17 points that define fascism. Or we can spend it saying, “He’s damn close enough, and we’d better fight.”

Actually you are quite wrong. All that is necessary is for Congressional appropriations to be vetoed for the current budget cycle. No money, no department.

There is a difference between authorizing legislation and actual appropriations bills. People do not think of appropriation bills as laws but they are so and actually override whatever other 'promises' made by authorizing legislation.

Whether that will happen politically is a different thing but yes, it is quite possible without repealing authorizing legislation for a DoE.

So much for RFK, Jr. "being on the ballot in all 50 states."

The DEMs are suing to keep him off the ballot in several other states, and they may succeed.

As an aside, the DEMs successfully sued to keep Jill Stein & the Green Party off the MT ballot in 2020. They also circulated petitions for the Libertarian Party in MT last time, and that worked too. DEMs are VERY good at that sort of lawfare, as well as the criminal justice kind.

Many times for Shuttle launches I listened to the non-public loops between ascent flight directors and the launch weather pros. Fascinating. They had the search for and questions and answers about holes in clouds at the needed time and probability that lightning would move out of the no-go area in time down to a tee. It was micro-weather forecasting and flight rule knowledge running in concert like a machine. Needed when Shuttle launches to the Space Station had to launch at the exact planned time. Amazing folks.

Idiot Voters are the domain of the MFM. They aren't a) watching FOX, or b) watching at all. It's the messaging that needs to get out and by proxies that are more honest. Constantly rewarding his love-hate paramour FOX undermines those who are more "loyal" to his campaign.

Effective messaging gets out by proxies now since media is so fractured. And Trump messaging - most explicitly - will get out. Best to have it delivered by those who are the closest to you ideologically since media is so corrupted.

234 Great launch. So much for me predicting a scrub .... but then what do I know.
I think I was getting rocket withdrawal symptoms as we hadn't had a launch in a while.

1468. 1568. 1668. usw...

You're going to have to be more specific.

243 @80, an interesting analysis, and likely-sounding too!
- if that wasn't their strategy, what would they do differently?

244 A Detroit radio station has parted ways with a host who disclosed that she received scripted questions for an interview with President Joe Biden.

Key Details:

Sherry Sylvester, former host at 97.1 FM, revealed she was given questions in advance for a Biden interview.

The station announced her departure following the disclosure.

Sylvester criticized the practice, calling it "unethical" and a "disservice to listeners."

Where did this entire block quote come from? I cannot find it anywhere. The links in the posts are regarding a Philadelphia radio station. And I find nothing about this supposed firing by a Detroit radio station in any Google searches. Sylvester seems to be a political worker and journalist, not a radio host?

247 Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the
shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit
crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell
someone!
