My theory is that the chinamen have some sort of washing machine Stuxnet virus they unleash on washing machines once the warranty is up.

I figured out a 'workaround' with a garden hose splitter on the supply line. Fill that sucker as high as she wants. No more waiting around waiting for some optimal water level calculation sent to Peking, then to California, then to DC for final approval.

Analog shit would last for 20 years. Current chips doing the same stuff last only until the warranty expires.

I have a clue: another part of that line feeds sprinklers in front of the house, but then it runs underneath a concrete patio, then down a bank that it also feeds, and presumably tees off the latter to go underneath a sidewalk and out onto the parkway (part of which is concreted over, and is where the gushing leak is).

So the idea is to dig up the part of the bank that is closest to the sidewalk, and try to find the pipe there and cap it off.

Fun.

How?

Because they’d sent scouts to opponents’ games to video record the signals sent in from the sidelines and what the play turned out to be, then had those signals on laminated play sheets on the sideline when they played those teams.

Those play sheets are what I would call a marked deck.
