Biden Is Losing Support Among His Most Important Bloc: Women

Losing 10% of blacks, who make up 13% of the population, is one thing.

Losing 5% of women, who make up, what, 52% of voters?

That's worse.

President Joe Biden's lead with women voters is the lowest showing Democrats have seen in 20 years, according to a recent average of polls compiled by The New York Times.
Biden's lead among women had dipped down to single digits, which is the weakest lead Democrats have had in two decades, according to polling averages compiled by the NYT. Former President Donald Trump is leading among men in the double digits, eclipsing Biden's lead with women and potentially jeopardizing his reelection, according to the aggregate polls.
Biden had a 13 point lead among women in 2020, but the margin has since narrowed to eight points, according to the NYT. Biden's decrease in support is especially noticeable among black and hispanic women, according to recent polls from KFF.

I think it's fair to say that Biden has the AWFL Karen vote locked up. This particular seething snakepit of neuroses and sexual discontent says her support for Biden has only "intensified" after watching him flail and fail for three years.

In 2020, Biden held an 86 point lead among black women, which has since shrunk down to 58 points, according to the NYT. Biden held a 40 point lead among hispanic women, but is now polling with just a 12 point margin.
Trump is currently leading among men by 19 points, according to a May New York Times/Siena Poll. Previously, Trump won the male vote with an eight point lead in 2020 and an 11 point lead in 2016, according to the Roper Center.

Here's one woman Biden has lost: A Silicon Valley millionaire who's jumped from fundraising for Biden to voting for Trump.

I wake up in the morning, there's no grocery stores to go to, there's no malls to take my teenage girls shopping to. "Obama started out with an aspirational messaging that resonated with me; it was about equality and women and minorities; Biden projected the image of being cool and hip," Huynh continued. "But where are we now? Immigrants come into our country and commit crimes . . ."
In contrast, Trump's "policies and politics make sense."

I was a semester ahead of basically everything. I had the credits and grades to be done with HS at Christmas but I ended up doing a period of being a Chem Lab TA and a period of Advanced PE which was just go lift weights for an hour and a half. The rest of it was usually spent going to town for lunch and, since I was a typical 18 year old, trying my best to get laid and failing.

The ISS can generate O2 for X number of people. X + 2 might (might) be a problem. In the long run. ETA on a decision is on or around 26 June I think. The Starliner can't supply O2 indefinitely if the crew is forced to evac to it.

Should X supply a return vehicle (I think there's one on the ISS) the blowback would be.... epic.

244 IIRC, in addition to the Starliner capsule, there are two other vehicles attached to the ISS right now, a Soyuz and a Dragon capsule, plus I think there may even be a third vehicle, a "lifeboat" Soyuz there as well. I wonder if excess capacity exists on those vehicles to bring the Starliner astronauts home. suppose SpaceX could also mount a rescue mission too, but time is probably not a big issue, since the ISS is well stocked with supplies.

Agree completely, primarily because past generations in general were overall far more moral and serious people than we are. Now were there bad actors? Of course, that's why there were laws and jails. But those who did such things were shunned and turned in when found out, and normal people did not put up with that crap.

Men looked down on wife-beaters as assholes who lacked character and discipline. Being a wife-beater was at least as shameful as being a drunk.

Instead he's virtually tied. Wtf? Doesn't add up. He didn't have these numbers in 2016, and he won. How is he not running away with it, with all these extra voters?
