Guy puts on drone shows in Austin. As you'll see, one drone show formed a QRC code which people could scan.

This is special: On the Fourth of July, Alaskans celebrate by running cars and trucks off a cliff. I didn't know about this. I'll have to watch this year's event.

How do you propel a semi-truck to over 300mph? The answer may surprise you. Or it might not: just rockets, really.

19 So reading Richardson 1999 it appears that crimes used to stack or add on crimes (a la PDT vs. NY Bragg) is very complicated.

It states that there are elements to crimes to then make up the crime.
It then state that the state has to explain the elements to the jury so that the jury can unanimously agree that
1. a crime was committed
2. the committed crime is on the books
3. the steps (elements) are there (think buy property hire builder build house pay them off move in ownership)
4. agree that happened

This did not happen in NY.

He covered a presser today about the investigation of a giant house explosion in Arlington in December.

Some idiot was shooting flares out of his windows.
Apparently the local PD, FD, ATF, and FBI were all involved.

They surrounded the house, and apparently got a search warrant to search and remove all weapons he might have to "protect the local community".

Hmmm ..
Is that a legitimate warrant for whatever crime he was suspected of committing? (I am assuming shooting flares might be violating some ordinance.)

Anyway. The surrounded the house, started doing a WACO by crashing the door with a mini tank. Then the house blew up spectacularly.

Mostly true.
The authorities claim all the "munitions" they deployed could not cause that explosion, and say the occupant caused the explosion. They also say there were "large quantities of gasoline" in the house, based on three gas cans found. A 25 gal, and two 5 gal, so, 35 gallons max.

Apparently the dead guy didn't like the feds, and my opinion is he might have been a bit off his rocker. Still, seemed like a nice practice run for the gung-ho feds to practice fucking shit up.

They certainly were unsuccessful at de-escalating.
