20 Gonna go out on a limb here and make a prediction. Depending on how the polling is going in the late summer I suspect that biden will pull some last minute executive order crap and grant green card amnesty status to all of the illegals he let in the country during his tenure.

Last night, said the CF of the day was some guy, no English, "undocumented", who (after much clarification between him, the guy who brought him in who had minimal English, and the bilinguals on duty) wanted his surgical staples removed.
As the team understood it, he crossed into Arizona on Saturday, "fell in a hole", and that's what happened to his leg, requiring some kind of surgical intervention.
After trying to make him understand that they weren't removing the staples as it was not yet healed enough to do so, more back-and-forth elicited that then while he was there, he needed all his shots and immunizations.
Crossed on Saturday into AZ, injured and worked on, then in DC by Monday night, and btw give him his shots?
What. the. hell.

They probably are. They are also miscalculating. If Biden is re-elected, there won't be need for that many bureaucrats because the red states are going to systematically get rid of every federal agency under 10th Amendment grounds. Their voters will require it. A Biden victory means an uncivil, no weapons, civil war, where the ability of the US government to enforce its laws will be difficult if not impossible. It will be essentially we are just going to ignore you in most cases - EEOC, EPA, DOL, DOJ, etc, will find their reach significantly hampered, and in some cases totally shut off.

Texas and Florida are nibbling along the edges. Pretty soon they will be joined by more, taking larger bites.

This one I actually don't think was Garland's doing. He's smarter than that. I think his agency did it, for sure - and someone high up in that agency - but I doubt he called the shots. Those days of silence were probably for the dealmaking behind the scenes with the rest of the politburo. They wanted Garland to take the blame, and it took time to negotiate the price.

I don't know what that price was. I suspect I really do not want to know.

Six at the low end, eight on the high end.

Colombia (start), then Panama, then Costa Rica, then Nicaragua, then Honduras, then *maybe* El Salvador (that would be a detour, but it's possible the route demands it), then Guatemala, then *maybe* Belize (ditto - a detour, but if that's the route, then that's the route), then Mexico, then the US (finish).

So excluding the origin and destination, there are a minimum of six countries between the two and possibly seven depending on route. I can't fathom a route where it would be eight but it's technically possible if you have to hit both El Salvador *and* Belize for some reason.
