30 On this matter, I'm in CDB's camp. I hate the fact that from room to room in this house I gain or lose up to 5 minutes. And most of those clocks are not self setting, so I manually go around with my phone and set each one to the correct time. Then, over a period of time they all drift.

They're mostly Chinese pieces of shit, so this fits.

Disarray about how to report what happened. Back when I was in AF, we did practice recovery missions and it can be harder to find wrecks than you would think in heavily wooded and hilly areas.

Doubt it is a thing that Iran nor Azerbaijan practice much either so you probably have different people from different services on different frequencies talking past each other and relating garbled reports back to HQ.

One trick is to lean your left leg into the door panel so that you can feel road vibrations. Changes in those can indicate changes in the pavement condition faster than you can realize via other means such as steering wheel, brakes etc.

Especially useful for driving in hazardous conditions.

One was a Mustang that flew off the road backwards right in front of me in a downpour. They continued backwards for a couple hundred feet until becoming embedded in some small trees. They were very lucky those trees were not larger.

Anyway not amungst the parts scattered between two shelves divided by the entrance to the restrooms was any of the plastic clips.
I wasted three employees time for 45 minutes looking in phones and on shelves for a pack of $5 (probably $20 now) parts.
BTW there is a box on "the racetrack" wherever the fuck that is.

Imagine how bad the classes have to be to make sure B+ level public high school kids - I assume many from terrible inner city schools - can pass the college courses.

Around 2005 I wanted get my business license to qualify for a Broward County Business License. I had previously passed my test to qualify for a Certificate on Competency way back in 1982 but had changed from exterior remodeling to acrylic bath systems as my desired discipline.
I enrolled in one of those construction colleges class that was held in North FL up in the Panhandle. My sister lived in Tallahassee with her family so I made a nice weekend out of it since the all day class was held on Sat Morning at 8 am.
I enrolled then made the drive a day early for my class. During check in at the motel the night before I requested a 6 am wake up call. It all went well seemingly until after I awoke and got to my car the clock read 8 am.
I was about thirty seconds from storming the reception desk in a tizzy when I realized the night before I drove into a different time zone and my car clock had not reflected it....Whew I dodged a very embarrasing situation ...

I never even bother setting the digital clock on my microwave.

Basically they treat all business relations, no matter how sensitive, as obtainable by the Feds. If someone else can buy the data, then the Feds can too with no subpoena or even NSL needed.

Alito in a 4th Amendment case dealing with planting trackers on a vehicle, suggested moving from the reasonable expectation of privacy model to that of a mosaic model. In other words, if the Feds are specifically targeting one or a small number of individuals, then they should be required to get a warrant. The idea is that the specificity of the search aimed at particular individuals essentially shreds a person's 4th Amendment privacy and the third party billing doctrine developed in a pen registry case in the 70's, has been expanded well beyond any control by the judiciary of abuses by po po.

My fav was a Luminox diver with the white dial when I Worked ER. It did not kill my budget and it lasted for years.
