Apple has apologised for its ad introducing the new iPad Pro, which involves, uh, crushing a huge array of artistic implements into a single dreary homogenised mess. (The Verge)

If someone can take your ad and produce a gem just by running it in reverse you might want to reconsider your entire existence.

One example of the Apple "Crushed" ad reversed. There are several of these.

1) Electricity - the lining of the tunnels makes great conductors. Stand back after plunging electrode in, though.

2) Water - lots of - … plus, dish soap. They have a much harder time making a flood ball when the water is sudsy.

I'd at least want to investigate the individual, see if still alive. Probably not I would imagine. But at least there's some closure in that. The Boy Scouts should have gotten the police involved but all they did is fire the dude and put his name on a list.

Sorta like how when someone goes off in some terror event the FBI has the name on a list. Big deal. America 2.0 sucks to be a victim.

An interesting thing about the Boy Scouts of America 'list' is that they expected about 10,000 former scouts to come forward with claim of abuse of a sexual nature. Instead, almost 90,000 made claim. Some bogus ones were discounted but last I checked there were 80,000 legit.

The organization ultimately reached a settlement, approved in court in 2022, that would pay abuse victims amounts ranging from $3,500 to $2.7 million.

The settlement involves more than 82,000 men who have said they were abused as children by troop leaders while in the Boy Scouts. More than 86% of abuse survivors voted to support the agreement in bankruptcy court.
