Shingles missing, the deck is delaminated and punctured in a couple of places. The water has now pooled above a couple of the bedrooms and the kitchen. The good thing is that it's a rental property.

Unlike two years ago, he would not spread his wings.

The two birds just stand on the railing for 20 to 80 minutes, both looking to the east.
