Willowed: I still have a couple of things to get at the store, but I've seen all of Walmart I want to for a while. Last night we used the self-checkout to buy my cold medicines. I noticed that they have removed the annoying display screen that shows your face to you as you scan your items. I said so to one of the mouth-breathers standing nearby in WM uniforms, and she blinked at me. "They still got cameras."

"Yes, but the screen isn't in your face anymore!"

More blinking. I wanted to ask, "How closely related were your parents?", but Miss Linda pulled me out before I could make myself unpopular.

>>I saw the other day the Chief of the Archives admit there is no law (criminal that is) that supports the Records Act.

Yes, there are no criminal statutes attached to the Presidential Records Act because, uhmm, all records created by the executive branch are for the President, ie The Unitary Executive, so that's why up until Trump, all Presidents have enjoyed the ability to keep and retain records from their administration, which is also why the Deep State had to create process crimes and leverage the f**king espinoage act to go after a former President of the US.

F**k These Animals.

Top o ta mornin to ya, gov'nor.

There has been a lot of procreative sex at my humble abode of debt in the last week.

One the rear deck railing, two turkey vultures will gaze at the eastern horizon. One would get closer to the other, then climb on the back of the presumed female. The female would try to balance on the rail. After a minute or 5, the male gets off onto the rail next to his lover.
Unlike two years ago, he would not spread his wings.

The two birds just stand on the railing for 20 to 80 minutes, both looking to the east.

I've seen three occasions, but the closest I could get with a camera was just after the male dismount.

Russ Myers I'm not.

Public Service Notice For Those Who Live in Texas:

Today is the last day to take advantage of the Prepper's Tax Holiday. Home Depot, has $800 off what I consider a near whole house inverter generator (approx 7200 running watts) probably the largest consumer grade dual-fuel inverter generator available.

I already bought one at this price four years ago. Considering inflation, this is currently a steal - especially with no sales tax.

Catholic advocacy group Catholic Answers released the desktop-accessible AI priest earlier this week, but users have dubbed the app "creepy..The Catholic chatbot has been offering sexist advice, outdated views on women, as well as absolutions in what one user called an "Ethical, Theological, and Privacy Nightmare".

Father Justin was quickly defrocked of his robes, and now wears a shirt and blazer, after it repeatedly claimed it was a real member of the clergy."

302 IBM had astounding typewriter variations before the Selectric. I was once assigned a government hand-me-down compositing typewriter with a unique half-spacing function, to spread a title line across the page or make lines come out close to even like a linotype.
