Soros DA Alvin Bragg's Election Interference Prosecution Begins;
Conflict-of-Interest Judge Tells Trump He Must Be In Court, Every Day, In the Height of Campaign Season, or Be Arrested

America is lost. There is no "America" left to save.

Former President Donald Trump arrives in New York City to face charges in a hush money trial, condemning the proceedings as "an outrage" and "political persecution."

Trump stated, "This is an assault on America. Nothing like this has ever happened before...This is an outrage that this case was brought. This is political persecution."

Critics of the trial argue that there is no substantial legal basis for the charges, viewing them as an excessive use of judicial power.

This case marks a significant moment as former presidents typically have not faced such legal scrutiny after their tenure, spotlighting the unusual nature of these allegations.

The daughter of the judge in this obviously-trumped-up case made works for a firm that raised $93 million fund-raising off the case.

The judge claimed there was no conflict of interest. Then he said if Trump brought up this obvious conflict of interest, he'd be held in contempt.

Democratic clients of Loren Merchan, daughter of the judge presiding over Donald Trump's hush-money trial, have raised $93 million in campaign donations, leveraging the case in their fundraising efforts. This has led to renewed calls for the judge, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, to recuse himself as Trump heads to a New York courthouse Monday for the beginning of jury selection in the case.

Loren Merchan is the president of Authentic Campaigns, a progressive political consulting firm whose top clients include Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and the Senate Majority PAC.

Since the indictment of Trump, Schiff's campaign for US Senate has raised $20 million, while the Senate Majority PAC has raised $73.6 million.

Trump was ultimately gagged by Merchan's father, Justice Juan Merchan, for raising concerns of a conflict of interest--leading to widespread condemnation, including from Stormy Daniels' former attorney, Michael Avenatti who tweeted, "We can't be hypocrites when it comes to the 1st Amendment."

.

End Wokeness
@EndWokeness

New York Judge Merchan to Trump: "If you do not show up, there will be an arrest."

During peak election season, Trump will be forced to appear in court every day.

To be clear this is infinitely worse election interference than anything that the MSM accused Russia/Putin of doing in 2016.

29 This case marks a significant moment as former presidents typically have not faced such legal scrutiny after their tenure, spotlighting the unusual nature of these allegations.
++++
No, it spotlights the unusual nature of Trump's regime. No other former president has faced such scrutiny because no other former president - not even Nixon - had pre-administration, administration, transition period or post-administration eras as defined by blatant criminality as Tump.

This kind of framing looks to bury the underlying issues of routine criminal behavior and shot-through corruption that caused this kind of response by law enforcement. A serial killer on trial for murdering 100 people will also have been through an investigation that is "unusual." Well, so were his crimes. When the crimes are exceptional, so is the response.

Donald Trump is an exceedingly bad man and is corrupt and crooked to his core, as is everyone in his orbit. That his chickens are finally being called home to roost is possibly "unusual," but it isn't irregular, unjustified, vengeful or improper.

He's a very bad man who did very bad things. "Unusual" begets "unusual."

If by some highly unlikely miracle Trump or another actual opposition figure ever got back into office, they would have to have an extensive arrest and kill list and be willing to carry it out to change the trajectory. It is doubtful any of them would do so even if they realized how utterly laughable the inevitable "that's not who we are" pleas from Con, Inc., grifters were. Regime factions probably would turn to violence and death squads if they lost the upper hand to other Regime factions, but that would be in-house stuff the National Review types would ignore.

94 Keep in mind, the "criminal fraud" in this case is that the people of NY were deceived in to voting for Trump because he didn't claim the payment as an illegal campaign expense.

To be clear: The DA is protecting Republican voters who may possibly could have maybe been deceived.

If you can't see why that is a felony, you are a Russian agent.

99 They really don't want Trump. They can deal with Trump - they did last time - and I think this is a part of that.

Whether any of this "works" is likely beside the point. It might or it might not. They'd like to take him out and put him jail, but I think this is more about groundwork.

Assuming that they can't make it stick and imprison him and they can't pull off the steal or choose not to for some reason (or it does stick, but it doesn't matter and he gets elected anyway), it's more arrows in the quiver to fire at him later. They'll rerun the same playbook as last time: special prosecutors as far as the eye can see, interfering in everything and blocking everything while Party men ignore orders and mostly do what they want anyway. They'll block him through investigation and hope to give him a stroke or make him lose control and punch someone or something, creating conditions for his removal.

When the full-court press of investigations come, it'll just be a continuation of the same thing they've been doing for years now. People are used to it.

101 Trump could refuse to play and not show up. He would go to jail, sure, but the Democrats would be forced to take it all the way, all masks off, exposing this sham of a government for what it is.

Socialist Party presidential candidate Eugene V. Debs, arrested by the Wilson Administration for publicly opposing US involvement in WWI, campaigned from a prison cell, garnering more votes than any (openly) socialist candidate in US history.

The big downside for Trump would be risk of assassination while in custody.

The others paying his fines include the Republican Party which he is rapidly bankrupting. He will destroy the party that was stupid enough to back his play.

They already have the playbook. It will look a lot like last time, just bigger.

Continuous investigations and special prosecutors from sea to shining sea. Congress will block any potentially decent appointee. Armies of lawyers will bring cases - cases that, oddly, get heard immediately even all the way up to SCOTUS - against every executive order that threatens the bureaucracy. The Paty-loyal bureaucrats will flagrantly disobey orders, as will the military. Expect at least one impeachment.

They know how the game is played now. They spend 2016-2018 developing it, and 2019-2020 refining it. If he manages to bull his way in (or they let him - which I think is unlikely but I could see why they might want to), they'll have him neatly contained with the added bonus of having a framework to attack his supporters directly thanks to what they developed in the wake of J6.

6) pour out of the bus "boxer entrance " style--gloves, warm up jacket, "45" Title belt, and all--with fight music blasting and a entourage of black and Hispanic men.

Keeping up with the news daily can be very spiritually degrading and a feeling of rage/hopelessness can be suffocating. I remind myself daily that God/Jesus are in charge and their will be done. Also, evil wants people to feel demoralized and hopeless - I won't allow myself to give in to evil's desires no matter how hard it is some days.

Things to remember about Trump's Manhattan trial:

Alvin Bragg is a far left prosecutor who campaigned on 'getting Trump.'

Alvin Bragg is bootstrapping a common misdemeanor into a felony (because the statute of limitations ran out on the misdemeanor).

To do that, Bragg is using Article 175 Section 10 of New York Penal Law. That requires Bragg to prove that Trump is guilty of falsifying business records and then show he did so with the intention of committing a second crime.

The huge issue for Bragg? No one has any idea what the second crime is! Bragg hasn't articulated it. Insanity.

The DOJ, which jumps at any chance to 'get Trump,' and Bragg's predecessor Cy Vance each declined to prosecute Trump for this.

Judge Juan Merchan donated to Biden for President in July 2020. His adult daughter is the president and partner for a Democrat consulting firm that makes money working with far-left candidates who attack Trump for a living.

When Trump and his attorneys pointed this out, Merhcan gagged him, violating his First Amendment rights.

To cap it all off? Bragg's star witness is a serial perjurer.

Literally every Congressman or candidate that the any DA disagrees with or thinks guilty without trial and another state ag also thinks they are guilty as well without trial is then immediately arrestable and extraditable based on another states judical complaint? The literal mayhem that would ensue, even the Dems don't want that, thrust me. Almost every person in government or candidate would immediately face arrest by states in the union and be extraditable. Not happening, Joe.

I get the apoplectic thoughts, I have them to - but this would mean the end times for both the states, Congress and the Republic. No one is that stupid - I hope.

The timeline differs for all of us. While it may have been dead a lot longer, the United States stopped twitching for me when the National Security State was caught red-handed in 2018 trying to overthrow the government and nothing was done to anyone involved. The coup attempt was no surprise but the failure to engage in even kabuki punishment was.

All we can do politically is at the state and local levels and involves leaders at least willing to develop weapons programs and then to use them if necessary. I don't see anything of the sort on the horizon yet. To my knowledge, not one Red State governor even has started a travel and investment boycott of New York. That's minor by comparison to what actually is necessary. Investment houses have slowly and quietly started to exit NYC, and that's been happening some time, but it also is a private sector decision.

The Soviet Union lasted 70 years. This doesn't have that type of staying power, but may be more vicious and evil before it all comes apart.

409 Thought you guys were more diligent at research re: Trump's presence at criminal/felony trial.

Section 340.50 - Defendant's presence at trial
1. Except as provided in subdivision two or three, a defendant must be personally present during the trial.

2. On motion of a defendant represented by counsel, the court may, in the absence of an objection by the people, issue an order dispensing with the requirement that the defendant be personally present at trial. Such an order may be made only upon the filing of a written and subscribed statement by the defendant declaring that he waives his right to be personally present at the trial and authorizing his attorney to conduct his defense.

3. A defendant who conducts himself in so disorderly and disruptive a manner that his trial cannot be carried on with him in the courtroom may be removed from the courtroom if, after he has been warned by the court that he will be removed if he continues such conduct, he continues to engage in such conduct.
