Biden Goes Full Hamas and Demands an Immediate Ceasefire, Telling Netanyahu That American Support for Israel is Contingent on "Action" on Sparing Hamas
What do millions of Israelis' lives mean compared to a hundred thousand Arab voters in Michigan?
In what was undoubtedly a tense phone call, President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that "an immediate ceasefire is essential" in Israel's war for survival against Hamas and that "U.S. policy with respect to Gaza will be determined by our assessment of Israel's immediate action on these steps."This is opportunistic and hypocritical by Biden. After he killed 13 American troops with his rushed and chaotic bug-out of Afghanistan, he ordered a hasty, poorly-intelligenced Public Relations "attack on terrorists." This attack killed zero terrorists but murdered 10 innocent people, including children. Deaths happen in wartime. Biden should well know this. He basically ordered a bombing on a site on the thinnest of intelligence, knowing full well it could be bad intelligence, because he needed to change the headlines for a couple of days. But Israel drops a single errant bomb, and now they're required to stop their very-just war against the terrorist group Hamas.
According to the official readout, Biden characterized the deaths of World Central Kitchen workers as an intentional strike on humanitarian aid workers and told Netanyahu that it was unacceptable. In a video statement put out hours after the incident, Netanyahu said it was unintentional and that a thorough inquiry would be conducted, and the Israeli military expressed "sincere sorrow" for the deaths.
Hamas is holding the hostages. Does he lean on Hamas to release them? No, he leans on Israel to convince Hamas to pretty-please release them.
Biden also "urged the Prime Minister to empower his negotiators to conclude a deal without delay to bring the hostages home," according to the readout, as if Netanyahu's negotiators have ever not been empowered to conclude a deal to bring the hostages home.
Unbelievably, (Doctor) Jill Biden is now in charge of Biden's Pivot to Hamas.

I must admit I was feeling a bit nervous knowing that I might have a lot thrown at me from the prosecution and their witnesses who would be testifying this morning. It just feels wrong and violating to watch someone try so hard to make you look evil for doing what you know is the right thing when you feel stolen from, when you know you're doing it out of love for your country and not hate or malice toward anyone. I reminded myself though of what I've learned over the years, that I can't have joy and hate in my heart at the same time, so I decided to opt for joy.

I'd like to buy you a beer sometime and hear how it worked out. I've been there twice, for work - did not care for Israel in the slightest. Like being in New Jersey, if New Jersey was all desert. There gun laws were particularly dumb - especially when you have folks sworn to kill you within an hour's drive from anywhere in country. And especially when you give them permits to come inside and work every day.

It's been said - but not loudly enough - that "humanitarian aid" for Gaza is bullshit. All you do with that aid is feed the Gazans that then dream of killing Israelis, while teaching their kids to dream of killing Israelis. Which frees up resources that are then used to make those dreams reality, instead of keeping Gazans alive to dream.

2) They can deal with those threats, I believe, but they cannot remain on full alert indefinitely. A "use it or lose it" moment will arrive.
3) If Israel has been functionally told by the United States that they no longer have their backing to survive, they have no choice but to assume that such is true.
4) Israel does most definitely have a nuclear arsenal and multiple means of delivery at range.
5) Just in passing, Israel had NEVER admitted such or promised "no first use".
6) Long ago I had a sideline of writing for professional military journals. During that period, some fellow writers and I worked on a theoretical project. It involved Israel taking out the threat of the Islamic world. Without going into any details, I believe that such is still within their means, without warning. But it would be most untidy. YMMV.
