I look forward to the "REE"ing, but not the baseless, vindictive Federal lawfare that's coming:
Charges will not be filed in connection with Nex Benedict's death, Tulsa County DA says. "From all the evidence gathered, this fight was an instance of mutual combat," Tulsa County DA Stephen Kunzweiler wrote... So, its ok? A child is dead. I wonder if federal charges can be filed. Kill someone that some hate for who they are. It's OK in Oklahoma. The murderers should be in prison. I wonder if the victim were a straight, white kid, would the outcome be different. The feds are investigating Oklahoma schools for letting LGBTQ bullying happen. They should start with the douchebag School Superintendent. He said "The LGBTQ groups pushing a false narrative are one of the biggest threats to our democracy, and I remain committed to never backing down before the woke mob." Stand your ground laws don't apply to LGBTQ people? This gang of bigots accosted Nex, who was alone, with hate speech! Throwing water at a group who is accosting you with hate speech in a confined space like a bathroom does not make you an "assailant! Legal Insurrection: Activist Clergy Members in Boston Want $15 Billion in Slavery Reparations From ‘White Churches’
“We call sincerely and with a heart filled with faith and Christian love, for our White churches to join us and not be silent around this issue of racism and slavery and commit to reparations.” I see greed, envy, and not forgiving your neighbor in this one post but those are virtues in the gospel of Social Justice. Posted by: Puddleglum, cheer up for the worst is yet to come at March 26, 2024 07:59 PM (sAmhv) I seem to recall that churches in New England and churchgoers were zealous in sending aid and education to slaves freed when the Union captured land in the Carolinas tightening the blockade and the whites left and blacks fled inland plantations to go to the coastal areas. I'd guess this service, with interest accrued might be valued at 15 billion since it all went to actual slaves and not modern grifters. Posted by: Oldcat at March 26, 2024 08:36 PM (eoQWY) 106

Japanese flavor is largely a combination of subtle fish flavors, sesame oil and seaweed.
Posted by: Thomas Bender - Yeah, the addition of fish and oyster sauce to the pantry really opened up some flavors. Easy to overwhelm stuff, but a 1/4 teaspoon or so is magic. And it depends on when you add it, too. Right on the oil when you add some salt and garlic is a completely different flavor than adding it near the end. I've been experimenting a lot for about the last five years and have a couple of dishes that are as good as anything that could be bought in a restaurant, but the problem is it's so expensive to tinker nowadays. It was one thing to think "This is inedible and I've wasted $7", but it's another thing entirely to experiment and blow $20 with nothing to show for it. Well today was fucking bullshit.
Anyway... So before I left yesterday I saw Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire on Sunday. It sucked. It's not the worst movie I've ever seen, it has its redeeming qualities, but mostly it was a waste of time and money. The story is poorly thought out, the humor was trash (and very Disney-esque in that serious moments are deflated by stupid jokes), the villain was generic (RLM described as The Real Ghostbusters bad-ghost of the week and I agree) and too many callbacks and references to the original. Basically, it was stupid. But like Ghostbusters: Afterlife it was saved by the strength of its cast. Star McKenna Grace was charming and cute in the first one and is charming and cute in this one. With the added benefit of nice tits. Dan Akroyd and Ernie Hudson were welcome sights in this movie, for sure. Bill Murray showed up and got paid. Actually, it's a very strange thing in this movie. The cast is either very, very young or very, very old. Well, Paul Rudd aside who will always look 25. But there wasn't any in between. It's just chil'uns and decrepit old fogies. It's...weird. Definitely not a recommend. 2/5 stars. Posted by: Robert at March 26, 2024 08:38 PM (xt2dn) 112
