NY AG Letitia James files judgments to begin seizing former President Trump's assets in state
New York Attorney General Letitia James has initiated the process to begin seizing portions of Donald Trump's assets as part of the state's $450 million civil fraud judgment against the former president. Filings indicate that James is eyeing Trump's Seven Springs golf course and private estate in Westchester County.

The judgments were filed in Westchester County on March 6th, a week after Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay the fraud fine--and two weeks after MxM News first reported that New York Attorney General Letitia James was "ready" to begin seizing Trump's assets.
This filing is the first step a creditor takes to recover property, with potential next steps including placing liens on assets or forcing a foreclosure.
Trump's proposal to post a $100 million appeal bond instead of the full $464 million required was denied by Judge Engoron.

The judgments were entered with the Westchester County Clerk's Office on March 6th, one week after Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay the major fraud fine. This filing is the first step a creditor takes to recover property. The next steps could involve placing liens on assets or attempting to force a foreclosure, among other things.

For Mar A Lago she estimated the worth at $240 million. Judge Engoren had said Trump was guilty of fraud because the property is only worth $18 million.

France is *the* power to watch in western Europe.

Of all the old countries, they have the strongest demography, the most self-contained (independent-capable, at least sort of) industrial base, a real military, energy capacity, and a population that is not hyper-urbanized and therefore at least moderately patriotic and willing to dabble in Euroskepticism.

None of this causes any emotion in me, but I didn't mind Johnson's first CR gambit right after he got the Speakership. The timeline was short. It's not what I would have done, but for a realistic political move, it made sense.

However, the thing to do then was to announce that it was the end, that committees had to come up with their own budgets by the next deadline, that budgets would be voted on individually by department, and that any budget that didn't meet the deadline would lead to a shutdown of that department.

Instead, we got impeachment theater.

No, you're being a bit disingenuous. As I said in my original comment on this issue everyone expected the left to go after Trump. But nobody suspected they would file such a corrupt, idiotic real estate case that as I just showed even CNN is proving his corrupt.

As I said there was no way for Trump to avoid the left's corrupt actions other than not running and disappearing from their radar. If he had sold his real estate they would have gone after something else like another Russia hoax.

Trump knew they were coming after him. He's known since the raided Mar A Lago on trumped up charges but he wants to fight them. Pretending he was caught off guard by the left's corruption after what they have been doing to him, his family and supporters since before he was elected is silly.
