THE MORNING RANT - “Climate: The Movie” Is a Must-Watch (and Must-Share) Debunking of the Climate Hoax

Climate The Movie.JPG

“Climate: The Movie” was just released and I cannot stress how valuable this film is in explaining and debunking every major talking point, statistic, and apocalyptic forecast of the climate cult. The video is embedded below, along with several links to where you can watch it.

While the “stars” of this movie are an amazing collection of highly-credentialed scientists, including Nobel-prize winners, the presentation of data is done in a very friendly format for those of us viewers who do not have PHDs. Not only are these men and women brilliant, but they are bravely defiant. Daring to rebut the government-financed climate scam has resulted in lost funding, smearing of their reputations, and excommunication from professional circles.

Like many of you, I’ve known that the climate hoax was a scam all along for the simple reason that any existential crisis (climate, Covid, etc) that requires the surrender of personal and economic freedom to an all-powerful government should be considered fraudulent. (And even if the “crisis” were not a hoax, I’d still rather risk the crisis than surrender to the “cure.” All the apocalyptic predictions that never came true hardened my skepticism, and the revelation of NOAA altering historical temperature records to promote the scare was all I needed to know that “man-made climate change” is fraudulent.

But others need more proof. This fast-moving, 79-minute film delivers it. Some of the key points that are covered include:

• The world has historically been much warmer than it is now. We are at a near-historically cold period and just emerging from an ice-age.
• CO2, which is the trigger causing global warming according to the alarmists, is low by historical standards, and dangerously close to the low level that causes a die-off of life on Earth, because CO2 = plant food = life.
• In the past when the Earth was much warmer, CO2 levels were much higher, indicating that higher temperatures cause an increase in CO2, not the reverse.
• The post-war cooling period that precipitated the “New Ice Age” panic of the 1970s occurred despite rising man-made CO2 after WWII.
• Outside of increasing temperatures in urban areas due to the urban heat island effect, there is virtually no change in temperature records at stations located in rural areas over the past century. Satellite and ocean temperature records don’t corroborate the rising temperatures found in cities.
• There are no increases in “extreme weather” events. That is simply fear-mongering hyperbole.
• The “climate consensus” is dishonest. In a vast variety of fields, those seeking scientific grants are incentivized to note in their findings that “climate change” is deleterious to the subject matter. Further, those scientists who reject the climate hoax are not considered reputable, thus their opinions are excluded.
• Scientists who reject the climate scare are bullied, defunded, banished from employment, and excommunicated from scientific circles. Examples are given in the film.
• The relationship between clouds and cosmic rays, along with solar activity and solar winds as the sun moves through the Milky Way, have a much more powerful impact on climate than anything man can do.
• The climate/environmental movement has been completely hijacked by anti-capitalists who seek to impose lower standards of living on all, and to deny those in the Third World a chance to improve their lot in life.

There is much more, and you will be armed to intelligently debate and dismiss the apocalyptic preachings of The Sustainable Organic Church of the Carbon Apocalypse after watching this movie.

Even better than watching “Climate: The Movie” by yourself, make it an event to spread its reach further. A movie-watching event would be perfect for whatever group you gather with, be it a book club, a church men’s group, a wine or beer tasting gathering, etc. Again, it’s just 79 minutes, after which you can imbibe and socialize. If you have kids at home, you might also want to sit down as a family and watch it with them. Your children are being scared by climate propaganda at school. Alleviate their fears by making a family movie night out of this.

In addition, every Republican politician running for office and challenging the climate communists’ agenda needs to watch this movie to provide them the intellectual tools needed to counter their opponents. (And any Republican still touting the climate threat needs to be primaried out of office.)

Given that the one very near universal constant of western civilization over the past hundred years or so is that the government is always both wrong AND malicious, surrendering to more government oversight in ANY crisis will only worsen its effect.

For the minority of people who attend that church but are open to being convinced, it might be helpful.

But that is a minority. Climate cultists - even default climate cultists who never look into it and are just going with the flow - aren't open to being convinced. They weren't convinced into their positions in the first place. They were harangued, threatened and terrified into their positions, not argued into them. All of the ersatz "science" and "evidence" backing up the climate lie is window dressing and nothing more. Nobody depends on those data, and most don't understand the argument. It doesn't matter.

The data are there along with the research because adherents of contemporary scientism need "science" to complete the process. It's an article of faith in reality, but the rules of the faith demand that it *not* be faith-based on the surface. The phony data and all the lies fill that requirement.

Contrary evidence doesn't move the faithful.

I've been saying this here for years. Go back and look at origin of the climate hoax starting with the Club of Rome, the predecessor to the WEF and then the first UN climate summit in Rio. Maurice Strong in particular who moved between both camps.

He flat out admitted that the real goal was population control and population reduction and they invented Global Warming as a means to accomplish their goal.

The climate cult is Jonestown-level in its fanatical devotion to the cult and will never be swayed by the most cold, hard facts. Not even a little. Not ever. They are either driven batshit crazy by the cult and trying believe we are facing ELE in the next few years, or they know the game but are profiting from it and won't rock the boat.

The anti-cult needs no convincing as they see the scam plain as day.

Is there anyone on the fence who might be swayed in one direction or the other? I doubt it. I've never seen such an animal in the wild, for whatever that's worth. The climate issue has become so politically charged that the positions were staked out years ago.

Nope, not at all. And most of the true top dogs know that it will *also* mean a fall in their own living standards. But that's okay, because it's a game of relatives rather than absolutes.

Right now, the elites don't have it that much better than the rubes. The elites have more and nicer stuff, but it's a matter of degrees. The rubes have houses and cars and appliances and television sets and leisure time. That's ... all just the same shit the elites have, except that the elites have a lot more of it and it tends to be of nicer quality.

But elites don't want to be elite by degrees. Having more and nicer versions of the same shit rubes have isn't appealing in the slightest. The rubes have it, so it isn't special - even if your version is way bigger and nicer. To truly be elite, the rubes need to have *nothing.*

So their standard will go down a lot, but *your* standard will go close to zero. The gap will increase, and the elite will be *way* more elite in relative terms. That's what matters.

Better to rule in hell, etc.

68 Hilarity in the Financial Times.

Ukraine has had considerable success using drones to attack Russian oil refineries (some deep inside Russia), but the United States is now asking Ukraine to stop.

The US is worried that the drone strikes may increase the world price of oil, you see, and the US doesn't want to see the world price of oil increased at the moment.

Joe Biden has an election to win, and higher gas pump prices in the US do not help.

The Zombie Gun Loophole is a problematic way that guns can end up in the hands of those responsible for gun violence. We must close this loophole and destroy zombie guns now. Every life lost to gun violence is one too many.

If someone is raising guns from the dead and sending them out to kill on their own, what will legislation accomplish?

77 Years (decades?) ago a very good webpage proved that global warming and climate change was real - in geologic time.
10,000yrs was about the smallest increment to measure global change and there is nothing humanity can do to make it 'better'.. What happens in the 100,000+ increments were also detailed.

I am not a biologist but believe that a modest 2-5 degree average temperature increase would be a boon. That temp swing would still leave most hard freeze winters as they are now and extend growing a few weeks (maybe). Increased ocean temp will increase evaporation -> rainfall. Coral and fish likey too.

Jack up the C02 and plants and animals will thrive... almost like in a well-managed greenhouse.

99 Some climate observations:

My dad, who was highly intelligent and ultra-capable of taking precise and careful measurements, used to report temperature and precipitation data to some entity that collected that sort of thing. Might have been NOAA, but I do not know. Anyway, he had done that for years but then the office/person he reported to began saying that his measurements were off and started adjusting them. He finally quit reporting the measurements because it became clear they weren't interested in the actual temperature and precipitation in his area.

I can't imagine that any amount of humidity can raise the heat index 26 degrees, and I don't recall such an extreme rise in decades past when heat index was reported. Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but it seems we are being nudged to be fearful about heat. 125 F is a little scary for an outdoor temp if you aren't in Arizona.

130 I enjoy watching a thunderstorm build up on a hot summer day. Then I consider the crazy massive amount of energy it must take to raise water vapor into a thundercloud a couple of miles high, create the static to produce hundreds of high-powered lightning strikes, gale force winds, etc. Then I multiply that by the entire surface of the globe. Finally I smile at mankind's feeble anthropogenic attempts to "change the climate"

Orders of magnitude.

So in the 70’s when that charlatan whose name I’ve forgotten was ginning up panic (or trying to) about the “population bomb” I didn’t believe it…. Then there was gonna be global freezing; I didn’t believe that. Then the alar on store bought apples was gonna give me cancer. Didn’t believe that…. So when covid came around and the government started messing with our freedoms I knew it was all BS alarmism…… same with all this climate change crap; I didn’t need to do a bunch of research…. Common sense (and Al Gore’s involvement) was all I needed to know it was all BS

133 The other thing I noticed is the rather extreme heat index reports I see on my phone's weather app. The raw temperature will be reported as a couple of degrees hotter than my outdoor thermometer, which is explainable, but then the app will tack on 26 more degrees for the heat index.

Point of parliamentary procedure . . .

189 I realized the “climate crisis “ was a bunch of BS when I found out that the warming they predicted isn’t even really based on CO2 alone. They could never pull it off on CO2 alone.

It’s all based on the laughable assumption that CO2 has a positive feedback mechanism with water vapor. This has no scientific evidence whatsoever and if true would have ended with the Earth being completely inhospitable to life billions of years ago.

They bloviate so much about following the science, when it’s all based on assumptions plugged into computer models. And their assumptions are f’ktarded and are only chosen because they yield the desired result in the model.

This is one of the easiest things in the world. Want to become a climate guru? Here's how.

Do exactly what you're describing. Punch in the data and set gating variables on the output (some high, some low, etc., within ranges) and add in some hysteresis to make it less obvious what you're doing. Generate a couple of hundred models and run the data set through them several times to create a trend (e.g., "predicted X for 2013, Y for 2014," etc.). Of your several hundreds (or thousands - computers are fast now) "models," a couple of them are going to be close and will show an excellent ten-year track record.

It will all be fiction, of course, and it will be easy to demonstrate that it's a lie, but "climate scientists" are under no obligation to disclose models, methods or even raw data - so you won't be caught. And you'll have "the world's most accurate climate model."

Asimov had a very mechanistic view of the universe, a view with its roots back to Isaac Newton vision of the universe as a giant clock. Unfortunately this vision has been the principle guiding idea of a lot of really bad ideas including economics, medicine and psychology. And with encompassing bad founding ideas, when they fail the answer is more power and earlier intervention.

It will all be fiction, of course, and it will be easy to demonstrate that it's a lie, but "climate scientists" are under no obligation to disclose models, methods or even raw data - so you won't be caught. And you'll have "the world's most accurate climate model."

And why haven’t Republicans ever passed a law saying all climate science receiving Federal funds must make all research publicly available?

272 Thanks, Buckster! Excellent post like usual.

273 Del Bigtree interviews a guy named Mike Lee who discusses the Chemtrail v. Contrail issue.
He makes the case the contrail crisscrosses we are all seeing is a deliberate program to block the sun to creat a cooler atmosphere... aka a Bill Gates fever dream being implemented. He has the documentation of intent.

He concludes that given we are approaching a maunder minimum (low sun spot activity) that we are one or two Mt Pinatubo style eruptions away from plunging us into a little ice age.

Cooling kills way more than warming.
Posted by: Derak at March 22, 2024 11:43 AM (IVCWM)

Meh. That is bullshit. Contrails have existed since the advent of airplanes that could fly into the stratosphere. They even occur at lower altitudes when conditions are right. Airplanes burn hydrocarbon fuel. When hydrocarbons burn, you get carbon dioxide and water vapor. At 35,000 feet, that water vapor almost instantly freezes into glittering ice crystals. There's your contrails.

Jeeze. In cold winter weather, even cars leave contrails.

274 I personally have never uttered the word "Hottentot". Always thought it was a cool sounding Dutch word and did not find out till my later years (embarrassingly enough) the meaning.
Posted by: EdmundBurkesShade at March 22, 2024 11:58 AM (8STu/)

I always figured it was a name, or a nickname, for a particular African tribe, and did not try to analyze it any further. Same as the Brits used "fuzzy-wuzzies" for a particular tribe they were fighting in northern Africa. Or calling Nazi troops "krauts".

276 Thanks, Buck! I watched it.
Somebody needs to edit it down to an hour, instead of 1:20:00. There's a lot of repetition.

277 67 You conspicuously left out "straight" and "cis."

278 156 150 132 Poor soul probably does not know the meaning of jigaboo. Fancy sounding to his ears. Have not seen nor heard that word since growing up in New Orleans 60 years ago.
Posted by: EdmundBurkesShade at March 22, 2024 11:37 AM (8STu/)

======

I would throw jigaboo in the same pile as hottentot:

The: I had no idea this was a word at all, much less supposedly offensive decades ago, pile.

So, cancel the Congressman. He advocates for the rules.

I suspect he meant to say "bugaboo" but he's a Democrap and racism comes naturally to him, so out came "jigaboo"

Thanks for that! I couldn't figure out what word he had been trying to go for.

Thanks, Buck. Watched it all. Very good. A bit of repetition of things I've known for years but to see all the pieces come together in one video is powerful.
