Microsoft is killing off Windows Subsystem for Android. (Bleeping Computer)

This, as the name would suggest, was a subsystem that ran Android apps on Windows.

It is no longer available as of, uh, yesterday. Thanks for the warning, Microsoft.

It was only a developer preview anyway, and apparently not a popular one.
That's one way to do it: Samsung has renamed its second generation 3nm process to 2nm. (Tom's Hardware)

If it worked for Intel, why not?

It has an Intel 185H CPU (the latest generation), up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD, pen support on both screens as far as I can tell, and a keyboard that can clip on to the lower screen or be used separately.

Interesting device, except (a) no Four Essential Keys and (b) $4000.

Its ingredients are valerian, chamomile, magnesium, and melatonin . . . all of which I already have here. Last night I took them together. That may also have contributed to a pretty good night.

Warning: Valerian root capsules stink. I won't describe it. Just breathe through your mouth, swallow the capsules, and wash your hands afterward.

Hmm - looking at the results of Super Tuesday it looks like it has.

Btw - I know I am way late on this old food thread issue, but it is acceptable to use the oven to make Italian meatballs - that's a way many restaurants do it. I do so, too, but I use muffin pans and grease them a little bit with either pork lard or something similar. I bake them at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes give or take. But do watch them to ensure they don't overcook or dry out.

18 Yesterday's crisis with the two flat tires worked out fine. The AAA tow truck showed up about 9:30, the shop loaded the Buick into a bay, they gave me a $50 discount as a long-time, return customer (I'd just bought one of the blown tires three weeks ago!), and they had me out the door with a pair of Kelly tires on the rear by 11:15. $436 -- but that included road hazard warranty and the horrific taxes around here. If I'd taken the road hazard coverage on the tire last month, which includes potholes, its replacement would have been free.

Car rides nice.

I used to cat site. My sister's late Persian kittuhs would sit outside a closed door and start wailing songs of their People. Or they were just letting me know I'm just staff and a closed door is not authorized. They normally just slept in the same room with me and didn't disturb me. I think it's because I tend to move a lot in bed while sleeping.

It's only autumn right now, but I like it. On average it's 8C cooler here than Sydney year-round, so it never hits 40C but gets down to -6C overnight in the middle of winter.

I'll happily take those cold nights over the scorching summer days.

(Also that first winter I was mostly still living in Sydney, flying back and forth every week, so I've only spent one full winter up here so far.)
