I know why, saw it in real life once when i did oilfield work. There was a downhole tool that had clogged and that two of us were sure had a couple thousand psi trapped inside, but one guy said "nah it's just stuck threads, I got a cheater pipe, I'll take it apart." He was stubborn, so me and another guy said " ok you do that." and took a few steps back. He it opened upi and - Big Bada Boom!!!
