Hunter Biden: Maintaining my sobriety is the key to preserving democracy.

So democracy's dead, then?

Hunter Biden suggested his fight to remain sober is intertwined with the 2024 election and keeping former President Donald Trump out of the White House.
The first son spoke to Axios about his struggles with addiction, particularly cocaine and alcohol, and how he "often" thinks about the "profound consequences of failure" if he were to relapse.
"Maybe it's the ultimate test for a recovering addict -- I don't know," Biden said, according to a report published on Monday. "I have always been in awe of people who have stayed clean and sober through tragedies and obstacles few people ever face. They are my heroes, my inspiration."
He also said, "I have something much bigger than even myself at stake. We are in the middle of a fight for the future of democracy."

So he's saying that what keeps him sober is his knowledge that if he goes back to the crack pipe, it damages his senile father's political chances and -- as you all know -- when Democrats lose elections, that means that Democracy Has Failed.

Assuming all of that is true: Who smuggled Hunter Biden's cocaine into the White House?

But drugs recently snagged headlines as the Department of Justice unveiled images of "apparent" cocaine and paraphernalia, after which Hunter Biden's lawyers argued prosecutors confused "lines of sawdust" for cocaine in one photo.

"Because what our Department of Justice has now done by saying they can't do anything, they can't charge anyone involved here, is they're saying and honestly, they're encouraging, violence and violence against women, for that matter, and the infringement upon our First Amendment rights, our freedom of speech at that. So I think this is an abomination, really. That's how I feel."

Gaines said she felt like her life was under threat while she was held hostage overnight.
"Being held for ransom through the middle of the night in San Francisco by hundreds of protesters, you can only imagine the obscene and profane and heinous things that were being yelled at me, how I was being assaulted in ambush," she said. "I truly, in that moment, I feared for my life."

Claire McCaskill makes it explicit: the media must stop fact-checking Joe Biden, because people haven't "learned their lesson" and may just elect Trump for the third time.

"What everyone says when you travel, 'Well, you wouldn't elect him again, would you? Hasn't the country learned? You wouldn't ever give this guy power again, would you? Hell probably 125,000 of that are staff pukes in the Pentagon and other bases. Last on the list are the poor bloody infantry who do most of the dying.

Even Russia found out in the first part of the SMO that their units had too little infantry and too much other crap and stuff that was needed was in other units. They restructured their units to have more infantry with organic mortars and engineers and even a few tanks built in for opening up bunkers. Now they look to be integrating drones for recon and targeting at the lowest levels, and thinking about drone jammer EW equipment too.

Well the quote for a new arty shell is 15,000 or some damn thing. But even so, the biggest issue is that we have one factory and it will take years to expand to even keep up with this limited war. Russia, being rational, has redundant factories and they were able to be spun up rapidly to 24 hour production. Plus they saved most of their old equipment which can fire a shell at a bunker as good as anything modern.

He said they both spoke some offbeat African language (probably a collection of clicks and whistles). They were also completely ignorant of most American culture items such as our food and how/why to shower, for example. Every little thing was new to them.

Neither of them lasted two weeks.

China has problems of its own. Their real estate market is crumbling and threatening to do real damage to their economy. And they are also hugely dependent on exports, primarily to the US market, to prop up their manufacturing base. They kill our economy and they kill their own.

Doesn't mean they can't do us real damage but they are in the odd position of needing our economy to be somewhat healthy.

I think we lost enough of the chip lead that it does not matter. We still have lead in space, but they probably have enough satellite killer tech to negate that. We still have some energy dominance, but US losing Russia is bad news. Xi is preparing their public to lose the market, and the 3rd world might replace us well enough (Russia, et al. China is major auto supplier to Russia now.)
Really, we are in a spot where they can destroy us with hybrid war, but we will barely dent them.

They are closing the gap much quicker than anyone expected. The EUV tech from ASML was supposed to be the big barrier. Done once, I am sure China can copy. Also they have enough units to keep them busy for a while. They may suffer low yields, but they will be able to produce. The problem is AI, which requires a lot of high power chips and they may have a serious shortage and trouble catching up, but ritght now I don't see that as a barrier.

Bif's opinion, is that only a subset of that woke Army can deploy and fight their equipment. The mostly woke turds are in REMF units and jobs and are unable to be successful combat troops. Of the combat troops that can fight...those are the ones that are stuck close to retirement, are conservative, won't get promoted, and cannot stand the woke turds, or their DIEcomand staff. In that group, maybe 10%-20% will fight for the left. The rest will either mutiny, or walk away taking their combat equipment with them whwn shtf.

I'm not too concerned about conus based combat troops beijg effectively used against the heartland and south. Woke blue shitholes on the otherhand will employ their political national guards at great risk to them selves [i hope].
