Why are you hiding your light under a bushel basket? Not very Catholic Christian of you.
Fox News’ Rachel Campos-Duffy encountered heavy resistance after she boldly confronted workers in an unmarked building in Arizona who refused to answer her questions about whether they were housing migrants.

Following up on a tip, the “Fox & Friends Weekend” host arrived at a “Casa Alitas” building in Tuscon, Ariz. which had removed exterior signs and did not take kindly to her attempt to get answers about the mission of the facility. In a video posted to social media, Campos-Duffy was seen engaging with workers and, in a follow-up video, reported her cameraman being physically accosted and assaulted by security.

Campos-Duffy and her team were repeatedly asked to leave and one woman threatened to call the police, a move that the Fox News host welcomed and encouraged in the initial video.

“What you’re seeing is basically an unmarked building, all signage is removed,” she reported in the video posted Monday. “That’s the first sign you know that this is an NGO, non-governmental organization.”

Ukraine wants our sweet cash which we have to borrow. And our armed forces are in a mess.

Army will add 7,500 air defense jobs while cutting 24,000 active duty spots
The personnel changes are detailed in “Army Force Structure Transformation,” which addresses the service's restructuring after two decades in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Army is adding positions for 7,500 soldiers in air and missile defense while also cutting thousands of unfilled positions — including many in special operations — to shrink the overall active duty force.

The new positions were described in the “Army Force Structure Transformation” which addresses the service’s restructuring after the two decades in Iraq and Afghanistan. The plan includes building up the Army’s integrated air and missile defense.

Police: Bride Assaulted At Wedding Reception
Victim’s brother, a groomsman, now facing multiple felony rap

FEBRUARY 26--A wedding guest argued with the bride Saturday evening before assaulting her and striking “multiple wedding goers with his hands and feet,” according to police.

Cops allege that Rontae Stokes, a 45-year-old ex-con, attended the February 24 nuptials of Anita Brooks, his sister, at The Event Hall, a banquet facility in Largo, Florida.

During the wedding celebration, Stokes “got into a verbal altercation with the bride. The defendant battered the bride and created a disturbance at the reception,” according to a felony complaint.

After striking the 48-year-old Brooks, Stokes was “escorted out of the reception hall and struck several other victims,” a group that, cops charge, included his 65-year-old mother, a niece, his brother-in-law, and a bridesmaid.

When questioned by police, Stokes reportedly admitted pushing his sibling to the ground. Court records indicate that alcohol may have played a role in Stokes’s alleged 10 PM rampage

I firmly believe that most normal Americans have no idea what the f**k is going on anymore, shit happens, everyone keeps their head down and cope the best they can, more shit happens, the previous shit is forgotten or recedes into the background noise, rinse and repeat for the last couple of decades.

39 I'm watching Sam Harris being interviewed by Konstatin Kisin now and when he was asked about the media lying about the Hunter Biden laptop he said that he supports the media lying about the story, that he agrees it was a leftwing conspiracy to deny Trump the presidency AND he doesn't care if there are literally videos of Biden killing children in a basement it is all worth it to deny Trump the presidency.

Kisin shows a little backbone and says "isn't this destroying democracy to save democracy?" And Harris's answer? Don't care we had to get rid of Trump.

The problem with this foundation as well as yours and CBD's is that it is all subjective.

Do we look at number of LPs made and sold?
Number of years the band has been active?
How many of the original songs have been covered by other artists?
Concert/ticket sales?

156 They were interviewing some Ukrainian PR type who made the remarkable claim that the reason the average age of the Ukrainian soldier, at 43, was so high was that all the older Ukrainians were signing up to fight so the younger ones don't have to.

I noticed a while back that the Ukes only had a fraction of their draftable young male population in the field. And considering the US is giving them all the money and supplies they want these men aren't out in the fields and mines.

So...where are they? It appears the answer is "dead"

Good job Biden. Good job Lil Z.

163 A "divider" for one of DC's ridiculous, largely unused bike lanes contributed to the accident.

Years ago I was driving down a road in a big blue shithole at night.

As you might expect a bunch of the street lights weren't working and it was dark.

The speed limit was 30, I was doing maybe 25.

And then I hit the elevated sidewalk. Painted the same color as the road. With no light around it. Or signs. And of course at night where there were no pedestrians.

Yep, I got airborne. Not like the Dukes of Hazard but I could feel the wheels leave the ground momentarily.

If it winds up being Ukraine, I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen their draft dodgers here in the US and the average young Russian male was probably more prepared for his country to send him into war (the country itself was not ready for mass mobilization, but that's a separate issue).

Ukraine, no question. Russia, with four times the population, mobilized only 300,000 people in September, 2022 (on top of the normal peacetime draft), and hasn't done a mobilization since. A lot of the few hundred thousand people who fled Russia at that time have come back, discovering the economic prospects aren't necessarily that good abroad.

There are rumors that there will be another mobilization after the Russian presidential election next month, but we shall see.

Thanks for the update, I had wondered what had happened to them. And I wondered *where* they could flee to and be welcomed, since Europe and the US took Ukraine's side. Russia's neighbors probably would barely tolerate the draft dodgers, given the rocky history between them and Russia. The bolts holding the lower leading arms to the front axle had worked loose, so the axle was bouncing around in the slots. It was a long way from coming loose completely, but it made for a bad clunk, and some bump steer. I dialed in as much positive caster as I could, and tightened the bolts securely. Then I went looking for a phantom fuel leak, and found that, too. It was a rubber hose used to couple a nylon hard line to the metal hard line for the fuel return from the fuel rail to the tank. Rubber was perished and leaking. Cut a new piece of hose, went to install it, and an inch of the nylon line snapped off. Had to cut a longer piece of rubber, but it's on there, and the fuel smell has gone away.

I would say new country, say, early 90s and on, mostly sucks donkey balls.

It's the heavy effected accents, crap autotune and constrained lyrical content that just grates.

Having said that, the only charting guitar based, rock adjacent music is country music right now.

492 Def Leppard like Metallica has that one song that will keep them around in a rock history. I'm trying to think of some others with that one hit that is signature. Kansas, Boston and Journey are others that come to mind.
Posted by: coyne

I can't figure out what "one hit" goes with most of those bands.

Boston, sure, classic rock radio only plays one song. Or they'll sneak in "Amanda" if they think there's girls listening.

Kansas is known for Dust In The Wind, but they're not a one-hit wonder. Carry On Wayward Son was pretty big. Point of Know Return, too.

Metallica had at least two big radio hits in Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters, and two lesser ones in Sad But True and Unforgiven. And two decades of albums before the "Black Album," though those didn't get much radio play, at least in BFE where I lived. The fans might call the Black Album their sell-out point, tho.

But which Journey song is their one hit? Separate Ways, I guess? What about Any Way You Want It? Open Arms? Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'? Wheel in the Sky? Don't Stop Believin'?

Def Leppard is almost as tough to figure out. Is it Armageddon It? Pour Some Sugar On Me? Photograph? Love Bites? Rock Of Ages?

To wit: Led Zep has a bunch of hits but "Stairway to Heaven" is their signature song. "Burnin' For You" was a hit for BOC, and still gets plays, but "Don't Fear the Reaper" is their signature song. AC/DC - lots of hits but "Back in Black" is their sigsong.

Tish and Engorgons "Disgorgement fine" against trump was based upon the "Profits" he made from those loans against his "Overvalued Properties"(all of the loans were paid back, on time, with interest and the lenders interested in loaning him even more), largest part was $135Million he made on the DC Post Office Hotel build, they seized it ALL. Today, Waldorf Astoria/Hilton, who bought it from Trump defaulted on their $235Million loan to buy it. They have 65 NYC Hotels and 13 major "Resorts" as well as the Landmark Waldorf on Park ave(currently closed for remodel)
Are Letitia and Engorgon gonna now seize all of Waldorf/Hilton? They HAD to have lied on valuations to get that loan...otherwise they would not be defaulting.
